The problems Ceci Masters and her brother Danny Fenton faced from the multiverse hanging by a thread were only beginning. So far, they only knew their two realities were affected. However, Ceci was about to learn more then their two realities were affected. Plus, just how many different alternate universes there were.
It started with Ceci doing a quick patrol while the rest of the new team waited for their next assignment. Unfortunately, due to going so fast while super focused, she didn't realize until it was too late that she had crashed into someone! Which is very surprising when you're flying high above to crash into someone. Because she crashed into a grown woman and not a bird, both females shook themselves off before staring at each other. Ceci looked at the woman before her, still a bit dizzy from the crash.
The woman looked around her parents' age: late thirties or early forties. She had waist-length wavy tangerine and magenta hair with brilliant turquoise eyes. Her outfit was a tangerine, neon green crop top, hot pants, and a turquoise butterfly. She also wore a green headband with magenta wrist-length gloves and ankle boots. "Um, hi! I'm sorry for running into you. Ms?" Ceci started to apologize.
The woman gave off a motherly aura as she smiled kindly. "Most people call me Magdalene Soulwings. However, those closest to me call me Mag for short. I'm quite surprised to meet another hybrid that isn't a family member."
"Wait? What?! You're a halfa, too?!" she shouted. Then in afterthought, she added, "How do you know I'm a halfa?" she asked, confused.
Mag just chucked amusingly. "Again, my entire family are hybrids. I'd be a fool not to recognize another one. After all, having three hybrid children? I would be quite foolish if I didn't recognize another half-ghost child. So what's your name, and where am I currently? The last thing I remember is getting ready to go to church with my family," the motherly hybrid asked politely.
"My name is Ceci Spirit, or at least that's my ghost name. You're in Peace Valley! Are you also from my brother Danny Fenton's reality? In his reality, our mother, Maddie, married Jack Fenton.
Here in this reality, she's married to my father, Vlad Masters. It isn't apparent when it comes to the multiverse. I'm not surprised to meet another ghost or half-ghost from a different reality. Considering mine and Danny's current mission from the Ancients, who are dealing with someone tampering with the multiverse. So again, are you another halfa from his reality?"
"Based on what you said, I'm from a completely different universe. In my universe, I'm Vlad Masters' wife."
Ceci almost plummeted from the sky hearing that. Instead, Mag calmly suggested they land somewhere private to talk. So they found the playground deserted and returned to their human forms for a chat. Ceci couldn't believe how beautiful Mag was. In her human form, her hair was auburn and plum, and her eyes were blue-violet. She remained slightly tall with tan skin, an enviable figure, a tiny waist, voluptuous hips, and small feet. She was dressed quite casually, even though she said she'd been getting ready for church.
Still, Ceci kindly requested more details about Mag's life and how she was married to her father. Mag calmly recalled her life story. She grew up happily in Meridian, Idaho, with her parents, Roland and Lorelei Fen, a real estate agent and member of the local sympathy orchestra.
Her neighbors were a mixed-race couple, and their daughter Leta was her best friend. Mag then proceeded to tell her what led up to her meeting Vlad. She'd attended college in South Dakota only to lose all her money due to a scandal at the college.
She only had enough money to go home or crash with her best friend, Leta, in Wisconsin. So she chose to go to Wisconsin. However, due to her weakened immune system and medical issues, she eventually got so ill she needed to go to the hospital. She met Vlad in the hospital, and they fell in love. He even saved her life. To thank her and Leta for curing his acne, he asked to be tested as a donor because Mag needed a bone marrow transplant. No one else had been a match but him!
However, this was before Vlad was aware of being turned half-ghost. Thus both ended up half-ghosts after the transplant. Shortly afterward, Clockwork's wife Lilith introduced them to this new world they found themselves in. Over the years, they married, started Vladco, and had three kids. Jasmine Magdalene Masters, Danny Vlad Masters, and Danielle Faith Masters.
After she finished her story, she then asked for Ceci's story. So the teen explained in further detail her own life and how she met her younger brother Danny Fenton from another reality. Again what their current mission was. Plus, how freaked out she was by Mag's revelation that more than one version of Danny existed! She also wondered if this would make things more challenging for the siblings to complete their mission to restore balance to the multiverse.
Mag kindly replied, "Well, my faith in the Lord is quite strong. I've faith in both of you that you shall succeed in your mission. If I return to my reality, I'll see what my family can do. However, first, we must get me back to my own reality. Any suggestions that might help? "
Ceci checked her watch, "Well, my parents should be out of the house right now. This is around the time they do the errands for the month. My younger siblings are at their friends' houses for another hour.
So if we sneak in to use the Ghost Portal, we better do it now! So let's go!" as the pair transformed again before zooming back to Ceci's house. Mag commented on how Vlad lived in this reality differently from her own. Finally, the pair reached the portal and said their goodbyes. Mag told Ceci it was alright to tell Danny about Mag's reality. The adult halfa flew through the Ghost Portal, hoping to get home.
Ceci looked sad to see her go. She envied that world's Danny. Since having such an amazing mother who truly understood you? Neither of them had that for themselves in their two realities! She knew she'd have to contact her brother along with the Ancients that the breach was starting to spread. Oh, how that filled her with dread! Still, she had a duty and quickly left to do it!
