While Ceci was meeting Mag Masters, Danny was also about to encounter another individual from another reality. This only proves more that the unknown culprit messing with the multiverse was starting to become more damaged! Danny had been trying to clear his head. He went for a flight during the predawn hours as he sometimes did when he needed some fresh air. It was calm and quiet during these hours.
He'd never experienced any ghostly activity during this time, and the whole town was still asleep. So imagine his surprise as he made a few loops that he, too, crashed into an unknown entity! Danny quickly remembered his manners and apologized to the unfamiliar ghost. Danny wasn't well acquainted with mythology but knew who Anubis was. This looked like a teenage ghost version of the Egyptian God of Death!
The jackal-like reverent shook his head momentarily before gazing at Danny with a confused look. He then asked in a confused voice. "Danny, what happened to you? Why did you cut your hair or change outfits? Your long hair has always looked far more attractive, and your other outfit enhances your sex appeal. Not that I'm crushing on you!" the jackal waved his hands while blushing.
"Excuse me, but who are you? And why are you acting like you know me? I've never seen you before!" demanded Danny. He looked a little uncomfortable by the ghost admitting he was gay. Danny had nothing against the LGBTQ community. However, this unexpected encounter freaked him out enough. So that little tidbit just made this awkward situation twice as embarrassing.
"Ha, ha, Masters. Really funny. We've gone to the same school since kindergarten! And now you're acting like you don't know me? If you're still upset about that gym class accident, don't be. Your father's implant has almost fully restored my hearing. As Mom said, it wasn't your fault! You'd never use your Ghostly Wail on anyone on purpose! So you don't need to feel guilty!" the adolescent reverent said.
"Again, I have no clue who you are or what you're talking about. Also, my last name is not Masters. It's Fenton. Are you from my sister Ceci Masters's reality? Is that why you're getting us mixed up?" he tried to clear up the confusion.
"I've never heard of a Ceci Masters. And how could your last name be Fenton? They're locked up in prison for life! Yes, my Dad and the other Ancients ensured they couldn't cause harm to either humans or ghosts ever again!"
"We're both missing the obvious here. You appear to know me but a different version of myself. This me has never seen or heard of you before. So why don't we find a quiet place to talk?"
"Very well, Danny," as the pair soon arrived at the deserted playground. Danny undid his transformation while the unknown specter shape shifted into an Egyptian-looking teen. "You look surprised by my human disguise. I guess in this reality, its not a law that all ghosts must be able to pass for humans to visit Earth."
"I guess not. Or at least Walker has thrown that one out on me."
"Ugh, that guy is such a pain in the arse! By the way, my name is Kai. My full name is Kai Anubis Graves. Son of the Ancient of Death Cronos and his wife Dreama, twin sister to Nocturn. So who are you in this reality that I've accidentally stumbled upon? I can tell we're in Amity Park since everyone knows to stay away from this location. So we're all forced to memorize what it looks like to stay away," Kai explained.
"Well, in this reality, my name is Danny Jackson Fenton. My parents are Maddie and Jack Fenton, and my sister is Jazz Kathleen Fenton. So why did you call me Masters earlier? Who am I in your reality?"
In my reality, you're the second-born child of Vlad and Magdalene Masters. You've got an older sister named Jasmine Magdalene Masters and a younger sister Danielle Faith Masters. You're currently the only hybrid family in existence.
Also, as I said, in that reality, you've long hair with a much sexier body. Not to mention an incredibly sexy-looking ghost outfit. So it's no wonder your girlfriend, Prima, in that reality, swoons every time she sees you."
"Um, I'm not against the LGBTQ community. But I've to be honest. It creeps me out slightly, you calling me sexy. But, again, I've no problem with you being who you are. I'm just saying its making this conversation awkward, is all."
Kai blushed, "Sorry, I keep forgetting your, not the Danny I know. I apologize if I made you ill at ease with my comments. So that you know, I do have a boyfriend. He's a trans-male named Empathy. He's the son of the Ancient of Peace, Harmony, and her husband, Helios."
"Okay, well, thanks for apologizing. But I fear you being here has made the mission your father and the other Ancients sent me on more difficult. Someone is trying to rip apart the multiverse. My friends and sister Ceci Masters from another reality are trying to contain it. That is until your father, and the others can track down who is causing this mess! But now other realities are being affected. Or are you already part of this reality and only know a different version of me?"
It's the latter. I've only encountered one version of you. But I still existed within the Infinite Realms. Believe me, Danny. You'll only break your brain from the strain if you try to understand the complexity of the multiverse. To put in the simplest of terms. They're countless realities and versions of oneself. Infinite as the stars in the evening sky. But don't try to figure out all of them. Again, you'll only break your brain trying."
"Duly noted. Now how do I get you back to your pops? I'm sure he's worried about you with this entire mess."
"You do have a Ghost Portal, don't you? If I can access the Infinite Realms, I should be able to find my parents. I can always send my mother a dream message, and she'll know where to pick me up."
"Okay, but we got to be quick. My parents will wake up for their morning cup of Fenton Coffee in twenty minutes. So let's skedaddle!" They quickly got back to Fenton's home, and Kai said goodbye. Danny felt a mix of emotions from the encounter. He knew he needed to tell Ceci about this. Plus his friends and the other Ancients.
For now? He needed some fresh orange juice to wake up. Boy, this mess just got even bigger! Why was this his life? Still, he ran up the basement steps to get some orange juice before his parents started making his life more miserable.
