Summary
It's a long day in February where Enid Sinclair does the unthinkable. She prays. She kneels beside her bed and joins her hands together, muttering prayers in every language she knows. Praying to the known and unknown gods, to the dark and light one. She sends her words into the vast expense of the universe, maybe someone will listen. Maybe someone will help, help her feel normal, and feel appreciated by her family. She prays with the desperation of a thirsting man in the desert. She promises everything in exchange for her wolf to finally come out. She bargains the world, her life and soul for a single second. Just an audience even, just to know that one time, she wasn't so alone. She begs and cries, pouring everything into her words until she has nothing left to give.
