"I'm not going to hurt you," Stede said quietly. "I came to tend your wounds."
The demon raised his head then, and Stede finally saw his face. He had a strong brow, a short, silvering beard to match the long hair that hung around his naked shoulders, piercing brown eyes that somehow seemed to burn as they regarded Stede with suspicion, wild and powerful, unlike anything he had ever seen before.
He was beautiful. And that was the trickery of him, wasn't it? But Stede couldn't help but feel that someone like him could only have been shaped and sculpted by divine hands.

Ed is a demon that Stede's monastery summoned and trapped in their garden. Stede is a novice monk that is tasked with caring for him and must not open the garden gate under any circumstances.
