Summary
Death City, 2002. The government’s ESP experiments on children go awry, so they drop an 'atomic bomb'. Now thirty years later the city is populated again, but Neo Death is rife with problems: Criminality is high, youth is disaffected, religious zealotry is rampant, the government is corrupt — and still performing nuclear-related ESP experiments on children.
When biker Soul crashes into one of these children during a gang war, he ends up becoming the government's next experiment. Soul’s childhood friend Maka desperately tries to save him with the help of her anti-government activist conspiracy theorist weeb older cousin Black Star, but between Soul and Maka are religious cultists, irresponsible scientists, powerful military leaders and the greatest obstacle of all: Soul himself.
