Summary
McCoy finds out his FWB is Spock's childhood bully and immediately breaks it off, taking Spock to a diner to cool off. Through the night's conversation, McCoy learns how deep the damage goes...but also that his feelings for Spock are mutual. They part, fearing an emotionally charged start to a relationship would hurt them, and the next morning McCoy wakes to his former partner who refuses to take no for an answer. Spock saves the day, but the two inadvertently find themselves targeted by a group of Vulcan purists.
