Summary
Kaeya has only ever wanted to bring Diluc happiness, but it seems even that was too much to hope for.
At least Kaeya can feel relief at the fact they’ve chosen him to be the physical object of their revenge, and not Diluc himself. If he focuses on that, then he can imagine that he’s helping him, in some horrible, twisted way.
