"Now listen up, Green Rabbit–"
Izuku whince, unable to hide the scowl on his face with disgust when he heard his hero name, the one he decided willy nilly when he was still a first year student.
How did he come up with that hero name? It was so easy, so simple. It was so fucking stupid.
What's his favourite colour? Green.
What's his favourite animal? Rabbit.
Put two and two together and you get this: Green Rabbit.
He tried to change it when the teachers teased him, but Midnight-sensei wouldn't let him change it! She said it was too cute and she would distract him with hero analysis before he could proceed with his counterargument!
"–If a villain comes up, call the others for backup and stay behind me, get it?" Flame Shield, Endeavor's sidekick, asked with his brow raised.
The sidekick hero has brown hair, yellow eyes, and a hero costume with white and red gradients from top to bottom.
The hero got out of his car, and so did Izuku. The car, by all means, was anything but ordinary. It was a new model from a famous company overseas.
His paycheck must be good good if he could afford a car of this level.
"I understand," Izuku answers, viewing the back of the hero with a feeling of a sort of connection.
He believes that they are two peas in a pod in a way how they came up with their hero names.
What's the sidekick's hero name? Flame Shield.
What's his quirk? Flame Shield.
He could make shields with flames. That's it. It was so simple yet it made so much sense.
His eyes scanned the whole area, it was peaceful. Quiet– well, not really if you consider the cars passing by and the laughter of the civilians that pass them.
"Say Green Rabbit, why did you choose Endeavor's agency?" Flame Shield asked, his head turning to the side to take a look at him.
Izuku stopped on his stroll, his gaze staring intently at the hero before him, and with a face so serious plastered on his face, he asked, "Would you believe if I say that I lost a rock-paper-scissors with the youngest Todoroki?"
Flame Shield's brows furrowed in confusion, "What?"
"You see, the Youngest Todoroki came up to me, told me to come with him at his Father's agency," he starts as they continue their patrol.
"Of course, I asked him why. He told me that he needed me for emotional support, and that if anyone has the guts to punch Endeavor in the face if he ever crosses the line, that would be me." He hums, ignoring the bewildered expression on the hero's face.
He scowled when he felt something squishy underneath his boot, "Damn it. Who spits gum on the sideway nowadays?" He clicked his tongue.
"Anyways, I was willing to do it. But I have to tease my junior first, so I told him that if he could win in rock-paper-scissors, I'll come with him," His face then turned sour, "Then do you know what happened next?"
"What?" The hero asked, his brow raised and his lips turned into a smirk. He was too intrigued with the story that includes the number two hero's youngest son.
"Ah!" The same hero flinched when Izuku grabbed him in both arms, his face leaning in with a dark, gloomy expression on his face.
"We played a hundred times. Hundred! Times! And I have not won a single game once! How fair is that?!" He screams while shaking the hero back and forth, hot tears threatening to fall under his eyes when he remembers the sick expression on Shouto Todoroki's face whenever he wins.
He was about to continue his rants when explosions rang through their ears on all sides.
He immediately let go of the hero and scanned their surroundings. Explosions could be seen behind the buildings and screams from civilians could be heard.
"Green Rabbit, call for backup and follow close behind me!" Flame Shield instructed him as they ran to the explosions.
He lifted his hand to his ears– "Damn it! Out of all days, I choose this day to forget my earpiece!" He cursed, scrambling his hand inside his pocket to get his phone instead.
He opened it in an instant and immediately called the agency for backup.
He was about to put it back in his pocket when the candy cane suddenly sent him a message, more like a location.
That doesn't seem right. And his gut feeling was telling him the same thing.
He clicked his tongue and scratched the back of his head, "Flame Shield-sensei! I'm sorry but I have somewhere I need to go!" He screamed to the hero before running off to the location.
He ignored the hero's screams to go back. What's important in his head right now is his junior.
He turned on his phone again and asked for backup at the location Todoroki sent him.
Then, his eyes caught Flame Shield's car. Maybe he could…? The location was too far away and it will be too late once he gets there if he runs… He reasons.
With all logical-legal reasoning leaving his body, he grabbed the car keys he had in his pocket.
Thank God Flame Shield didn't notice his car key missing when he shook him earlier.
He smirks, opening the car with the key before jumping inside the driver's seat.
"Alright, let's go, Lightning McQueen!" He cackles, inserting the key in and his foot pressing on the gas.
"Kachow, bitches!" He cackles.
The car was magnificent, it was fast, it was coloured in red with lightning streaks on the sides. The car was basically Lightning McQueen.
Izuku just has one problem. He doesn't know how to drive.
"Ah! Get out of the way!" He screams at the terrified pedestrians. Plus him, he was terrified too.
He can feel his head spin as the car moves side to side, barely dodging the cars parked beside the road and the people running away from the explosions– and him.
Within a few minutes, he could finally see the location. He could recognize the candy cane hair from a far away. He could also recognize the engine for legs at the… ground?
Oh no. One of his juniors is hurt! Aizawa's going to kill him!
Amidst his panic, his eyes wondered at the unfamiliar figure who was wielding two swords at both hands.
"...Stain?!" He screams, but immediately calms himself with hundreds of thoughts running through his head on how to take the villain down.
He tried to lift his foot to stop the car, but he couldn't. He tried everything by shaking his foot free, shaking his legs or wiggling his way out, but nothing worked.
The reason? All because of the gum he stepped on earlier.
"For goodness sake! What is this gum made of?! Mineta's balls?!" He scowls– which turned into immediate disgust when it sounded wrong. Gross.
With no option left, he poked his head through the window, "Candy Cane! Get you and the others out of there!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, one that could rival Elsa–the Ice Queen herself.
Todoroki did as he was told, dragging Iida and another hero to the side.
Stain looked back at him, confused from the sudden scream coming from Izuku, "What–"
CLASH!-
"Midoriya-senpai!"
"Call the others for backup!"
"Tie stain up!"
"Pull him out of the car!"
He could hear his juniors scream from outside. He could feel something soft all over his body.
Out of all the options he had, he chose to run over the villain.
He groans, pushing away the soft white material off his face to breath. But to no avail, the soft material was persistent and kept coming back. If only his Father could do that.
"Damn this–" he wiggled his foot and he was finally free from the gas pedal.
Thankfully, someone grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the car. He breathes, laying down on the ground with his head spinning.
"Midoriya-senpai! Are you okay?" Candy Cane– Todoroki asked.
"Urk–Fine," he answers, standing up from the ground before leaning against his junior, and well–vomiting.
"Gimme a minute– Blurgh–" another set of vomit left his lips. Damn his non-existent driving skills and not-so-legal driving. Not to mention, underage. Plus car sickness.
Todoroki could only look away in disgust.
Not from faraway, they could hear the sirens of the police.
"That's my cue to pass out–Ugh–" Izuku's eyes rolled and his body went limp.
"Senpai!" Todoroki panicked, wrapping Izuku's arm around his neck to ground him.
"Shouto!"
"Green Rabbit!"
"Aid the injured!"
That was the last thing he heard before he passed out.

When his consciousness returned, he swore he could hear the youngest Todoroki use a slur against Sansa.
Slowly, he opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was– Aizawa. Fuck.
"Good morning?" He laughs with his hands trembling underneath the sheets.
Every nerve on his body fired warning signals. He was going to die.
Nervously, he gave his teacher a forced smile, one that prays that God would have mercy on him and let him live.
Aizawa grabbed something from his pocket, and reveals–
"I thought you'd brought out a gun," Izuku sighs in relief. Maybe God did answer his prayer.
"Not to question your current state of sanity or your lack of coffee this morning, but why are you giving me a parking ticket? I can't even drive!" Izuku whines, but then–He remembers.
He remembers 'borrowing' Flame Shield's car, he remembers his head spinning, remembers spotting his juniors, and remembers running over the hero-killer Stain.
Oh.
Oh.
Well shit.
He gulps, his eyes trembling as he looks at Aizawa in the eyes. Whatever courage or bravery that made him do it leaving his body when he saw the expression on his face.
His mentor does not look happy. Not one bit.
"Do you need coffee? You look like you really need one," He tried to humour him, but nervous chuckles only left his lips when nothing worked on his mentor that had a scowl on his face.
Aizawa raised his brow, and oh– If glares could burn holes, Izuku would be dead on the spot with holes in his head matching his freckles.
"Mind telling me how you stole Endeavour's sidecick's car?" He scowled, and Izuku swore Aizawa's scarf levitated near his neck.
He gulped, the man was ready to strangle him.
He laughed nervously, his eyes looking to the side to avoid his glares, "Stealing is such a mean word, I'd call it borrowing," he explained, his hands clasped together like a good-moral student would–except, he wasn't.
Aizawa grumbled, and oh that puts Izuku's heart into a mini heart attack.
"That's it. You're under house arrest for a whole month." His mentor declared before leaving him with his mouth agape.
Izuku pushed his jaw back up after a few moments of shock, "Dad–I mean, Aizawa-sensei! You can't do that!" He whines, but his rants went through deaf ears.
Aizawa glared at him one last time before closing the door with a slam. How cold.
He sighs in defeat, crossing his arms across his chest, "Damn this–"
"So, he's your Dad?"
Izuku's head snapped to the side faster than flash could.
He almost choked on air when he saw his juniors staring at him intently, "Candy–Todoroki?! Iida?! Since when were you here?!"
"We apologise, Midoriya-senpai! I have warned Todoroki to not eavesdrop on your conversation with Aizawa-sensei but your voices are too loud to ignore!" Iida apologised, his hands doing its signature movement.
Todoroki nodded in agreement, "Yes, and I clearly heard you call him Dad," he said, and Izuku swore he saw a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Are you his secret love child?"
Izuku, not bothered by the Candy Cane's claim, instead said, "Beat me in rock-paper-scissors and I'll tell you."
A mistake.
One that he would regret the most out of many.

"How are you always winning?! What kind of sick game is this?!" Izuku raged inside the hospital room, biting his lips to fight off the tears daring to spill under his eyes.
Todoroki smirks, it was small, but it was there.
Iida fake coughs, "I apologise for interrupting, but I have observed that you always use paper against Todoroki-kun throughout the whole game."
Izuku gasps, looking at his hand, which indeed opened up like a hawk, "What?!" He screeched.
"Are you Aizawa-sensei's secret love child?"
"Of course not!'
