Well this is probably going to be the best and most important day of our lives. It's the class of 2023 graduation year and me and Toshinori are going to start an agency together!...
At least that was the plan, but no that plan is kind of being thrown out the fucking window!
Considering the fact I just “woke up” in what looks to be my four year old self's body. Yay.
Well let me explain a little more than that. My name is Midoriya Izuku, or more commonly known as Shinigami. Shinigami, basically, in the simplest terms are gods of death. Shinigami is my hero name. You see, the plan was for Toshinori to be a public figure, the symbol of peace and justice! All that good stuff! However, I was going to be the other half, a less public figure hidden behind All Mights publicity. Never looked at by the general public, an underground hero, ya know? I was going to be a symbol of hope for those who got unlucky, not just the quirkless like me. All of the ones society deemed not good enough for their standards. Someone to help those who society left behind in the dark of the night. Big dream for a quirkless kid right? Yeah, Toshinori was quirkless too look where he got! He graduated from U.A's hero course and was able to immediately open an agency. Although he's a late bloomer, he gets it! We already had all the paperwork for an agency in America. I don't know why he wanted it there but ya know whatever. He's listed as the owner, me the sidekick, so I get as little public attention as possible. Although I guess that doesn't matter now that I'm a kid again?
Speaking of being a kid…I'm sorry what the fuck? Well, whatever de-aging quirk I got hit with should deactivate soon right? Eh, I just need to get to a police station and explain what's going on, flash my-... where's my hero license? Better question, my stuff? Why and how am I wearing clothes that fit this tiny ass body? Ok, calm down Izuku, it's not a big deal, just need to find a station to explain the situation and it'll all be fine. I mean sure, all my stuff is missing but I'm a kid who doesn't exist according to the government database considering I'm nineteen right now. Wait. What? Looking up, I noticed a woman coming towards me, 160 centimeters or so, big green eyes, long green hair to match.- Oh who am I kidding it's my mother. But how did she find me like this? Maybe a camera caught me turning into a kid? Yeah that's probably it but why and how did she find me before Toshinori or the others? Speaking of finding me here, where am I? Looking around I quickly realize I'm in a park with a bunch of other kids. And based on the half eaten cake with a candle that says 4, I'm at some kids birthday party? Fantastic and I don't recognise what park this is. I've never seen it before. Meaning its probably not in Musutafu, hell, might not even be in Japan fuck. How the hell am I going to find a police station? Let alone explain my situation if I'm a four year old who's stuck in another country?
“Well there you are mister come on now we need to take you to your appointment remember?” Oh I forgot about her. Thank god im still in japan then- wait, for the appointment? Maybe to a doctor so that we can figure out how to reverse the quirk? Looking up at her face i can see she's smiling at me, but there's something… wrong with it. It looks odd I can't quite place why. Probably has something to do with the fact she looks 20 years younger th- I'm sorry, WHAT?!

So this is what was supposed to be the best day of my life or at least one of em fucking ruined. Although it's been 30 years since then so I don't even know at this point. After having that realization I don't really remember how I got here but it doesn't really matter. I mean a 4 year old who found out that they had like no future is bound to dissociate right? Hell, I'm back in what looks to be my childhood bedroom although there are a ton of figurines of random pros who I don't recognize. A lot of one guy who looks like the United States flag threw up on him. And a basic room layout that isn't anything special. Well I mean other than what has to be hundreds of dollars in hero merch. Looking back at the laptop my mother set me up with, I'm looking at this video of the throw up guy, she's still not back she said I had an hour with it it's been two. I've mostly been spending that time panicking over the situation and trying to calm myself down.
God what's the point? I'm stuck in this fucking child's body 30 years from now- then? It doesn't matter but I think this reaction is pretty good on the whole panic scale. However, I do need to figure out where to go from here-. First things first I need a game plan. Obviously my main goal is to get back to my time in my body. However, I have no idea how to do that right now. I mean considering the fact I'm stuck in some random kid's body. That is obviously government registered considering the appointment and I'm now labeled as a quirkless, cops would never believe me. Or maybe they would? Welp, first things first is to figure out how society works first.
Grabbing my notebook from on the desk and a pencil, so I have something to keep track of important information. Now just to figure out what exactly to research. Right now I need to know exactly what the state of society is. I don't know the situation about All For One, quirk discrimination all that ‘good’ stuff . Mostly though I need to figure out how to act in relation to that. Also what happened with all my friends.

Well society is a shit show, apparently and collectively citizens have the IQ of a radish. Good news Toshinori got to live his dream. Bad news, in other words, society is fucked. For instance the American flag throw up guy is Toshinori, however in all seriousness.The underground heroes are basically completely ignored now. As a result discrimination got worse due to limelight being the only recognised hero type. Because of that people only ever see the flashy part of heroics. Meaning that they don't understand the truth of heroics and what it really pertains to. So now we have everyone wanting to be a limelight hero, therefore too many untrained heroes on the scene. Most of which refuse to do the nity gritty part of the job. And there's not nearly enough underground heroes to do all of the work they won't. Now there's resentment on the underground side for having to pick up the limelight's slack. And for the limelights they think the undergrounds are too weak to handle the bigger more flashy villains they handle. Which by the way is completely disregarding underground crime. Like, I don't know, All for One?! Not to mention those with strong or flashy quirks believe they're the best so don't see the need to train. And those without are bullied by those who do because teachers “can't” do anything to hinder the golden child's development.
The real kicker? ALL FOR ONE”S BEEN ERASED FROM PUBLIC RECORD?!?
Completely gone, everything he did is just gone, taken out of any textbook, scrubbed from the internet. Hell not even one questionable article on him from when he first became active. The one thing I found about him is that he's considered folklore now. And I only found that because of some random hacker on some random forum sending it to me! That is, uh, kind of concerning now, fuck.

However the Hero Commission is now backed by the government and is basically an unofficial branch. And they have pushed through many decisions and laws that are uh.. questionable. Although one of the ones that pisses me off the most is they're pushing the whole heroic/villains quirk agenda. And they are the ones that decide whether or not you get a hero license… what the fuck. Why is this card so damn detailed?! It should not have the hero’s actual names on it?! That's so fucking dangerous?! What happens when a hero gets killed by someone with a grudge? What happens to their families? Hell, what happens when a lucky reporter gets a photo of it if they are confirming their identity with an officer?! And why is quirk status required? Oh
