At Kasumi’s home the next morning, Kasumi found herself wondering while doing her usual morning routines ever since waking up from her bed and unable to express something while she gently holds her fingers on her lips.
Kasumi:…
She remembered that vivid moment from yesterday when Emma kissed her right on her lip without knowing why and why she did that out of a whim.
She heads back to her room, sat on her bed, took a big pillow and placed on her lap, and rest her face on a pillow. She felt embarrassed and deeply regret about what happen yesterday. She hugged a pillow tightly and tears fell from her eyes. Before she could let herself cry, she heard her phone vibrates and a notification sound was heard. She looked at screen and saw a message from Shizuku, however she was saddened from reading her message to confirm that Shizuku will be more busy at her drama club and regret that she may unable to see Kasumi for another week.
Kasumi: Shizuku… hnnnnnng… nnnnnnn…
This has caused Kasumi to dropped her phone on the floor and her tears began to flow while holding herself from letting out her crying voice.
A few hours later, Kasumi grabbed her phone lying on the ground and opened a contact. She saw Emma who was the only one in her contact to appear with active online status and none of the other contacts appears online since their last online status was nearly a whole day. Kasumi paused a bit knowing what happen the other day, however she was left no other choice but to send Emma a message.
Kasumi: Uhmm… Emma…
Upon sending a message, Emma’s status immediately seen the message, to Kasumi’s surprise.
Emma is currently typing…
Emma: Hello Kasumi!
Kasumi: M-may I ask you some help here.
Emma: Yes, what is it?
Kasumi: Well, I just need some comfort here so…
Kasumi: Let’s meet at the place near the Odaiba bridge.
Emma: Sure!
Before Kasumi put away her phone before going out, she received another message from Emma.
Emma: About yesterday, sorry about that. It was so sudden that snapped something out my head.
Kasumi: It’s alright, Emma, I don’t mind at all.
Kasumi: Alright then, I’m heading out right now!
Emma: Same, take care yourself!
Kasumi takes a look at her phone before turning off her phone to conserve battery while she’s heading to the place, but she noticed the message that Emma was typing and saw a familiar word before the screen turned off completely.
Kasumi: Hold on, was that really… oh well…
Kasumi: I guess not. I better get going before evening comes!
Not too long ago, Kasumi arrived at the park viewing the spectacular Odaiba Rainbow Bridge and carrying a basket containing several breads that she and Emma shopped yesterday. She also bought a box of donut while on its way because it’s also her personal favorite food. Upon looking around the spot, the place was so quiet and there were literally nobody around, like a ghost town or some backroom vibes. Kasumi begins to get nervous.
After few moments walking around while looking for Emma, she heard a familiar voice calling around and gasped.
???: …Kasumi! (On her low voice)
Kasumi: W-who’s there?
Her head rapidly turns around back and forth looking for a threat. Then she placed the basket on a bench, took a long baguette from it and grabbed like a two-handed sword alongside making an iconic weapon pose.
Kasumi: S-show yourself!
???: Over here! (In her soft voice)
Kasumi: ?!
Kasumi shook from her stood with her eyes looking too scared.
???: Right behind you!
Kasumi slowly turned her head on her back and revealed Emma was only just behind her and sitting on a bench alongside the basked she just placed there.
Kasumi: KYAA!!!!!
Her cries overheard across the park enough to send a couple of birds to flew away from the trees.
A few moments later, Kasumi and Emma were seen sitting sitting apart and chattering on a small bench and facing the river and the Rainbow Bridge while waiting for the sky to turn into orange.
Kasumi: …don’t scared me like that again Emma, okay? Hmph!! (Her response followed by making pout on her mouth)
Emma simply nod and smiled at Kasumi while while looking down at her. Kasumi then took a donut from a small box and ate it while looking upset. Emma quickly noticed the remains of fillings sticking close to her mouth.
Emma: Uhmm, Kasumi?
Kasumi: Yes Emma?
Emma: There’s something sticking on your mouth. (She pointed her finger on her face where a thing sticks on Kasumi’s)
Kasumi then point her index finger on the fillings sticking on her mouth then swallowed onto her mouth. Then suddenly Kasumi just froze there and scaredy looking at something while her fingers are touching on her lips. Emma felt worried about her.
Emma: Kasumi? Is there something wrong?
Kasumi just staring straight at her front with her eyes slowly itching as she open her eyes wide. She began breathing deeply and the donut she’s holding it are starting to slipping.
Kasumi: Sh… Shizuku…
The moment Kasumi says Shizuku’s name, her tears began to filling up around her eyes and her hands cannot hold the donut anymore causing it to dropped immediately to the ground. As soon as her tears fall apart, she began erupting her cry but she tried contain herself from emitting her crying voice.
Kasumi: Uhuu…
Emma was so helpless while watching Kasumi crying so she moved aside close to her and hugged her.
Emma: Don’t worry. You’re not alone.
The lantern next to their seat began illuminating around then as the sun has finally set at the horizon. Kasumi stopped crying for a moment before looking up at Emma’s face, much to her surprise. She saw Kasumi’s tearful eyes and face sparkling around it.
Emma: You’re looking pretty here.
Kasumi: R-really…
Emma then gently hold Kasumi’s head and placed on her chest like a lap pillow. Kasumi obviously cannot contain her feelings anymore so Emma asked her some favor.
Emma: Let out all your feelings and you’ll be fine.
Upon hearing what Emma said, Kasumi hugged Emma’s body tighter, her tears were pouring harder, and she took one last deep breath before emitting her high-pich voice and letting out her full cry. Emma tearfully watch her cry as she gently rubs her head, then she look up at the surroundings drawn in a deep orange saturation and looked back at helpless Kasumi crying at sobbing violently on her chest like a baby.
Emma: I felt alone… like yours. I cannot help myself that I fell in love to you too… ever since we met at the school idol club when we joined there for the first time…
Kasumi tried to calm herself from sobbing and looked at Emma’s face at close range.
Kasumi: You’re… tearing too… [sob]…
Emma just casually smiled at her respond while her tears also flowing.
Out of a sudden, Kasumi just kissed Emma right on her lip. Emma formally accept Kasumi’s kiss, hugged tightly and their tears flows like a river.
Emma and Kasumi: Mmmm... Mmmmmmm… Mm…
Due to Kasumi’s mouth sobbing too hard from her cry, they engaged their kiss by deeply thrusting their lips and tongues back and forth repeatedly, enough that their saliva were being mixed inside some begins to flow out of their mouths. They don’t mind the taste of their saliva being mixed together as it taste more than the actual bread. Having a sweet moment of kiss under the deep orange evening never felt this good.
Some hours later…
Kasumi has arrived at her room so late, with one of her hand still touching her lip. Upon closing the door, she picked her phone from her pocket and reopening her phone from completely power off. Upon unlocking the screen, Kasumi gasp upon seeing something on the screen. She promptly placed her phone on the desk safely, heads to the wall with mounted lamp still lid around it, shouldered her back against the wall, slides down against it and sits at the corner of the wall. Then she covered her face with her own palms before once again bursting herself into crying out loud.
Kasumi: I… uhuuu… you too, Emmaaa….. uhuu… uwaaaaa…..
It is revealed on her phone still lit up that Emma’s last unseen message promptly says “I love you, Kasumi” before the screen turns off from autosleep.
