Summary
Hyung-nim stalks forward, making Hanseo’s space his own in a single moment. Shadows seem to overtake his face, lamplight thrashing against his form like flames. His jaw is clenched, and, yet, he’s smiling. He cradles his cheek ever so gently, and says, “Dongsaeng, are you not grateful?”
“Hyung-nim, no. No, of course, I’m grateful—”
“I did it for you, you know. I’m only trying to take care of you. As your hyung.”
(Or, a reimagining of the day Hanseok kills their father.)
