Summary

Several years after the fall, Hannibal and Will journey north, to the silent, cobwebbed house Hannibal grew up in, was shaped by, and fled from. Will may be well accustomed to evil men, but there, in the cold, still, darkness where it seems like the walls are shifting and the windows are watching, he cannot help but feel that something is there with them - something old, something patient, and something that is decidedly not human.
