Summary:
Yonji never felt sympathy or pity for anyone or anything really. That being said, he doesn’t understand the concept of emotions or feelings; the concept was looked down upon by their father, saying it was a weakness.Now digging into the topic, perhaps that’s why they pick on Sanji. Since showing emotions is weak, that means Sanji is weak.
Problem solved, there’s no need to ask any further.

(“Your Majesty? You have a visitor. May I let they in?” the nurse’s voice asks on the other side of the door.“Oh? Is it my little Sanji again? Or is it Reiju?” A sweet, soft voice answers. It sounds unfamiliar to him; perhaps it is. His mother was a complete stranger to him.
“Not this time, miss, it’s Prince Ichiji who wants to see you.”
“Oh?” She—his mother—sounds surprised, well he is too; he doesn’t know why he’s here.
“Let him in.” )
He tries to control his breathing, he needs to! Everything is fine, there’s nothing wrong with him. He’s just here because he has nothing else to do in the castle. (H̶e̶ c̶a̶n̶'̶t̶ b̶r̶e̶a̶t̶h̶)
The woman says something to him as she opens the bedroom door. He ignores it; it must be nothing important.

“Hello my son, I'm glad you came to visit me.” Ichiji looks at her hands, but refuses to look at her face.What should he say? He doesn't know.
“Huh, hi, I-I-” Is all he can manage to say. (What's wrong with him?)
“Honey, are you okay?” Her tone worried. (Why was she? They were both complete strangers.)
He doesn't answer.
He has no idea what to say.
