Unhinged Tweets

Summary:

SO-

I like to imagine that after everything in the Episode "Put it down", Tweek avoids Twitter like the fucking plague (I don't blame him), however, one random night at four in the fucking more when he SHOULD BE SLEEPING, he decides to go back on Twitter.

Now, he just says the most funniest on Twitter and Craig is always the first to reply

Memes are inspired by Pinterest

Auntie Janie will be mentioned briefly, so this story can act like a sequel ig

Work Text:

"You're back on Twitter, Tweek?" His Aunt, Jane, suddenly asked. She was standing near the kitchen doorframe, arms crossed over her chest, wearing one of her Wife's sweaters with Leggings.

"-Ack!- Y-Yes..." He answers, startled by his Aunt's sudden appearance.

"You know the Safety rules?" She asked. Tweek nodded.

"Don't try to get on the toxic side, that's all. Oh, and go back to bed soon, you have school today," She tells him before leaving him be.

'I should go to bed, Craig will beat my ass if I'm not asleep right now,' Tweek thought before looking around. 'Right, He doesn't live a few blocks down anymore,' Tweek then thought. He walked upstairs to his bedroom and sighed. He placed the can of Diet Coke and a pack of pocky down on his desk before turning his laptop on and opening up the website. Jane and Ericka, his aunts, took Tweek in after his parents were arrested and thrown into prison. Tweek himself isn't sure how exactly his parents got caught, or why his Aunt Jane was quick to take him in lovingly, but living with his aunts has helped with his mental health, though somewhat. He's no longer addicted to Meth, but his caffeine addiction runs high. He has sleep issues, ADHD, and Anxiety. He has a Theripast for that, though it's expensive as fuck.

"-Ack!- I haven't b-been on this website in forever..." Tweek muttered to himself, but decided to publish something.

"adding fractions began my math downfall"

=================================

Tolkien's voice startled Tweek out of his exhausted stupor. He had been up all night trying to finish his math worksheet, knowing he probably messed it up.

"Tweek," Tolkien asked sharply, "why were you on Twitter at 4 am?" Tweek inwardly groaned, realizing that even without Craig around, he still had someone to lecture him.

"Y-You're not -ngh- my aunts," Tweek fired back.

Tolkien didn't back down. "Yeah, but you're not supposed to be up until 4 am. Your aunts even gave you melatonin gummies for that!" he pointed out.

"-ngh- I know~," He said with a hint of sarcasm, earning a gentle slap on the arm from Tolkien. Despite the light moment, Tolkien continued to lecture him about the importance of getting enough sleep as they walked along to school.

Clyde's boisterous voice interrupted their conversation as he ran over to them and pulled Tolkien into a hug mid-sentence. "HEY, GUYS!!" he yelled, his enthusiasm uncontainable. "What were you two talking about?" Clyde asked, still beaming with excitement.

"Hey Honey," Craig greeted Tweek. Tweek jumped and stared at his boyfriend.

"M-Morning!" Tweek replied nervously.

Craig's expression turned stern. "I told you not to pull an all-nighter, Tweek," he reminded him in a gentle tone.

"I-I'm sorry," Tweek stuttered. "-Ngh- I returned to Twitter last night and-"

"Wait, Twitter?" Clyde interrupted, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "Holy shit dude, nice!" he commented, impressed with Tweek's return.

"Let's just get to class," Tolkien instructed the group, eager to keep moving. However, he paused suddenly and looked around. "Wait, where's Jimmy?" he asked, his brow furrowing in confusion.

"Vacation," Craig replied, providing an answer. "He posted about it on Instagram."

The group split off into their respective classes. Clyde headed to Gym, Tolkien went to Chemistry, Tweek made his way to Algebra, and Craig headed to Ancient History. As Tweek started to doze off during Algebra, his phone sat idly on his desk. Just then, it began to vibrate, interrupting his slumber. Once, twice, three times.

"Huh?" Tweek thought to himself, staring at the phone. He quickly checked to make sure neither the teacher nor the assistant teacher was looking before picking up the device. Craig had liked, reposted, and left a silly comment on Tweek's post, which read "Algebra <<<<<<"

Tweek grinned to himself and hummed contentedly before turning his attention back to the task at hand. He felt more awake and alert now, thanks to the brief distraction from his phone.

======================

This became a regular pattern for Tweek. He would post a chaotically hilarious quote or meme, just enough to take people aback and then burst into laughter. And every time, without fail, Craig would be the first one to like, repost, and reply to the Tweet.

On one occasion, Tweek had tweeted "When the Wifi starts acting up when you're about to turn in your assignment at 11:59" with a strong undercurrent of passive-aggression, at 2 in the morning before going to bed. And by six am, Craig had already liked, replied, and reposted the tweet, showing his unwavering support for Tweek's witty and relatable humour.

Another time, Tweek had tweeted about something ridiculous that had happened during one of his therapy sessions, with Craig sitting nearby. And Tweek couldn't believe it when he saw Craig toss his pencil across the room just to quickly like, reply, and repost the tweet

Tweek decided to approach his boyfriend about this.

During the lunch break, Tweek found Craig sitting alone at a table, scrolling through his phone. He walked over and sat down, clearing his throat to get Craig's attention.

"-Ack!- Hey Craig, can I ask you s-something?" Tweek said.

Craig looked up from his phone and smiled at Tweek. "Sure thing, babe. What's up?"

Tweek hesitated for a moment before finally asking, "W-Why do you always -Ngh- like and repost my tweets so quickly?"

Craig shrugged and replied, "You're just funnier than Jimmy. I've laughed more with you. But let's keep that between us."

"Oh, You t-think I'm f-funny?" He asked.

"Of course I do, babe," Craig replied, taking Tweek's hand in his.

Tweek felt his heart swell with happiness and gratitude. He leaned in to give Craig a quick kiss. "Thanks, -Ngh- Craig. That means a lot to me."

"Let's get you something to eat since I see you don't have your lunch with you," Craig said.

Before the Tweek could respond, Craig added, "Remember, we have Gym together next period."

Tweek nodded and let himself get dragged into the lunch line, staying close to Craig with a gentle, crooked smile on his lips. Despite the hustle and bustle around them, They talked among themselves and exchanged some jokes and enjoyed each other's company.

I just like a Supportive Craig
