Chapter Text
Thomas just moved back to South park after about 7 years. His mom decided to try out “big city life,” so they moved to Denver for a few years. They started to miss South park after a while, so they moved back, just in time for Thomas to start high school at South Park High.
Thomas was worried about starting a new school. His Tourettes make him a target of bullying most of the time. People don’t understand that Thomas cannot control the noises he makes. That’s also another reason why they moved back to SP, there are a lot fewer people and about 50% of them know Thomas already.
“You ready for your first day of school, Thomas?” His mom called from the bottom of the stairs.
“Al—COCK—most mom!” Thomas answered. He was very nervous for this day, so his tics were crazy.
A few minutes later, he was speeding down the stairs. “R-rea-dy,” Thomas said, out of breath.
“Alright, dear. Get in the car then.” His mom said, smiling slightly. His mom knows the most about how much Thomas gets bullied at school.
*FAST FORWARD*
“Have a great day, sweetie, okay? If people make comments, just ignore them” Thomas’s mom told him as he opened the door.
“Okay, mom. I will” Thomas replied, smiling.
Thomas made his way up the steps and into the school. He needed to go to the office to grab his schedule.
“Thomas..Thomas..last name?”
“Uhm, Smith, ma’am” (just made that up, not his real last name (i don’t think))
“Thomas Smith…You’re in the records, but it says you were here in elementary school, but not middle school. Is that you?”
“Yes, ma’am. I just moved—BITCH—back here last month.”
“Alright, here’s your schedule. Have a good day!”
“Th-thank you!”
“Alright, looks like I have math with Mrs. Ellen first, room 14…14..14” Thomas went up and down the halls looking for room 14.
“12…13…14! Finally.”
He creaked open the door. He was the last one to get there.
“Morning! Welcome to math class!” Ms. Ellen said cheerfully.
“Morning—shitBALLS—Ms. Ellen.” Thomas responded.
“Hey, I recognize that kid. He’s the one who Cartman tried copying when we were like 8. He used to go to elementary school with us in like 4th grade. ” Kyle said to Stan.
“You’re right! It’s Thomas, right?”
“I think so. Hey Thomas! You can sit with us if you remember who we are.” Kyle said across the room.
Thomas indeed did recognize them. They were the ones who stopped “the fat kid” from going on TV and faking Tourettes.
“Hey. Kyle, right?” Thomas asked.
“Yeah, and this is Stan. I don’t think you ever met him.”
“No—cocknose—I didn’t.”
“Hey, dude, nice to meet you, again, haha,” Stan said.
*Even though Thomas went to elementary school with these boys, he was in special classes because he kept interrupting class, and the teachers couldn’t handle it anymore. So, he would go to a different room every day. (in case you guys were wondering why Thomas wouldn’t recognize anyone)*
Suddenly, Cartman walked into the room.
“Oh he’s in—ass—our class, too?” Thomas asked.
“Yeah, unfortunately. All the sophomores have math first period.”
“Hey! That’s my desk. I always sit next to Stan and Kyle. Everyone knows that.” Cartman said as he walked over to where Thomas was sitting.
“O-oh. I—COCK—didn’t know that. T-they invited me over to s-sit here.” Thomas stuttered.
“Wait a minute. I know you! You’re the kid with Tourettes Syndrome! The one who helped stop me from going on national television!” Cartman exclaimed.
“Wait, you’re the fat kid who almost went on television?! You look so…different.” Thomas said shocked.
“Yeah, he’s a bit less chubby since you last saw him. He lost all his extra weight between 5th and 6th grade.”
“And I was not a fat kid…excuse you. I was big-boned. That’s what my mom always told me.” Cartman said, trying to defend himself, and failing.
“Uhuh, right,” Kyle said sarcastically. “Anyways, Thomas is fine where he is. Just sit behind us or something. We are gonna talk to Thomas and see how he’s been lately.”
“But guysss! I always sit there!” Cartman said, whining like he did when they were kids. Stan and Kyle just stared at him with blank looks on their faces.
“Fine! I don't want to sit with you guys anyway! I’ll go sit with my BEST FRIEND Mark then. ”
“Whatever, Cartman,” Stan said. “Hey, have you seen Kenny today? He’s never late.”
“No, dude. I haven’t” Kyle answered.
“Oh no. Ms. Ellen? Is Kenny absent today?”
“Yes, boys. He has been marked.”
“Do you know why?”
“No, I don’t. It’s not our business, though.” Ms. Ellen answered. “ Alright, let’s get started. Im going to take attendance first. When you hear your name, please say here.”
“Kyle Broflovski?”
“Here!”
“Eric Cartman?”
“Here!” Cartman said.
“Okay. Clyde Donovan?”
“Here!” Said a boy across the classroom. Thomas caught a glimpse of the boy.
Wow.
He’s never seen a boy look so pretty before. He was the most perfect boy he’d ever seen. Brown hair, kind of baby-faced. Just perfect in Thomas’s eyes.
“Bebe Stevens”
“Here!”
“Thomas Smith?”
“Huh? Oh, here.”
He was so lost in thought, daydreaming about this boy who doesn’t even know who he is.
“Oooh! Someone’s got a crushhh!” Eric whisper-shouted to Kyle and Stan.
“I heard—bitch—that. And no, it’s not…a crush.” Thomas trailed off.
“Oh, whatever. Don’t lie to yourself, kid.”
“Cartman just shut up dude. Leave him alone.” Kyle said.
“I can introduce you to him after class,” Cartman said, sing-song.
“Wait, really? You guys—SHITballs—know him?” Thomas asked, blushing hard.
“Well, yeah. Everyone knows everyone in South park, remember?” Kyle told him.
“Oh, yeah,” Thomas said. “I forgot how small this town is.”
“And Cartman, we will introduce Thomas to Clyde, okay? Don’t need you ruining anything.” Stan said, kinda sternly
“You guys never let me do anything,” Cartman said, pouting.
“Yeah, ‘cause you always fuck it up,” Kyle said rolling his eyes.
