Summary:

there are rarely extraordinary people like himself (maybe Mycroft, but he wouldn’t ruin his mood mentioning him). there are mostly just ordinary people, who are so predictable as to not even be worth his time. and then the very few ordinary people who deviate from the regular patterns, those were worth a little notice.

Work Text:

people generally live in basic routines, without real awareness of their surroundings, most of them unable to even affect it.

they have simple urges, safety, food, and normal curiosities, like politics or fashion or whatever it is that makes small talk.

there are very few like him, and if they are smart it’s not in the way he is, they’re scientists and politicians, which again, orthodox practices.

however, there are people who impress him, not necessarily clever or unique, but just not regular.

he can deal with a lot for not regular, can share a flat, can share a morgue.

it is to be noted, that the drabble topics are from my own choice, not a particular challenge or collection, so i dont know how many i will make as i am making them up as i go. a random word and a hundred words, i want to make a hundred drabbles. i am open to requests, however, you can only give me a word and a couple, not the whole plot. for e.g ( escape, harryxhermione, harry potter series). not ( harry and hermione escape to rome. or harry and hermione escape a stuffy ministry party) for more clarification, comment and ask below.
