Summary
When Aloy sees the confident Marshal at the gates to the Forbidden West she is instantly captivated & confused by new feelings. When she sees him after the terrible events at Barren Light he is angry, vengeful and full of doubt. She already has a long list of people in love with her, but she only ever felt this way about the brooding Marshal with the strength and courage she only saw in one other man; Rost.
Kotallo notices the red-haired maiden when he arrives at Barren Light & wants to gain her attention, then looses his arm in battle. When he sees her again he struggles with his own worth and new feelings he never felt before. He wants to explore them, but is unsure if the huntress will find him worthy.A (mostly) canon retake on the events of Horizon Forbidden West where Aloy and Kotallo explore their feelings and evolve their relationship. Explores several points of view but focuses mostly on Aloy and Kotallo. Missions not explicitly spelled out are assumed to happen when Aloy is away from base.
