Summary
“Fuck! El! Jonathan! Why isn’t he getting better? Did he not hear me?”
Mike’s panic seeps through his voice, paints his veins white and drops in tears from his face. He’s losing Will.
He’s looking as the best person in his life gets pulled away from his body and there’s nothing else he can do.
“He heard you.”
El’s voice is soft - softer than Mike deserves, but even in his despair-clouded state of mind he can hear the but at the end of this sentence.
“But I think he doesn’t believe you.”
or
Will gets Vecna'd. They don't have any music tapes.
