Me and the bay boys have been trying to make different potions recently! The ingredients are so different, we have to steal them from witches.. But it's working out!
No one's been turned into a frog yet, which is good. (And also funny, how stereotypical would that be?)
But there's this rare herb we just can't seem to get our hands on. The witch that's keeping it seems dangerous, so we might avoid her altogether.
We're gonna take a day off tomorrow. Rest up.
I'm keeping an eye on Deo though, he looks determined to get that herb from the witch.
3.4. 20xx (9:00 am)
Deo disappeared.
He isn't in his house or his weird basement thingy. Or even anywhere in the bay. Luke flew into Loglagoon to ask Grunk for help, and Bitzel is searching the forest under the bay.
Me? Oh I'm just emotional support.
I'm kidding, I'm leaving to help them.

We can't find him.

It's been almost a week. No one, NO ONE has seen him. We even contacted the Antarctic empire. Our enemies for god's sake. They were no help. No one was.
It's like Deo just disappeared into thin air. He left no trace. He doesn't even appear on the map, but that's probably because his communicator might be broken.
Still. It's worrying.
I can't lose him.

I've just returned from my own search. I flew around this whole magical world for him. I've looked in the mountains, fields and the deserts. Wisp joined me for a bit. WISP! What the fuck is happening.
He isn't anywhere. I called out his name from the highest mountain on earth. (side note: I've always wanted to do that)
Luke and Grunk are always away on search parties, and Bitzel helps me in the bay. He's just being a little assistant boy.
I'm just trying to lighten the mood..

I saw a deer in the forest today.
Deers are cool, you don't see those often around Business Bay.
I was just wandering around with no goal. I still want to find Deo.
The deer stared at me, it was real weird. Usually those things just run the fuck off the second you make the smallest noise, right? I could've sworn our eyes met just for a second, the thing stared the absolute daggers at me.
I gotta go out again.

I saw that same deer again. Or at least I feel like I saw the same one. Am I seeing shit?
I noticed he was beginning to shed while we were having our little stare-off again. Deo used to be kind of passionate about deers, and animals, so I know when deers shed and how it looks thanks to him.
Just one of those useless things that are pretty cool.

I saw it again. Is this a sign? What, does the deer just love looking at me? (Does it know I'm a minor?) I tried to get close, but it actually ran off.
I'll hit up Bitzel if there's any potions or spells that could allow me to communicate with it.

I think everyone has given up on finding Deo.
Why? Why are they giving up? Bitzel and Luke as well.. We're family! Why are they just so willing to abandon Deo?? There's no way he isn't out there somewhere. Is he hiding? What would he be hiding from? Us??
Well too bad Timedeo. I'm gonna go on another journey, and I'll find you. Whether you like it or not.

I didn't find Deo. Again. I flew around the whole world, it feels so small now. I explored every fucking cave, every forest and every ocean. It's literally like he just vanished without any trace whatsoever.
Did he get lost? Is he hiding somewhere? He must be..
I'm going outside. Take a quick walk.

I have to go somewhere in a moment, I'm writing this so I don't forget.
I saw that deer again when I was returning to the bay. I was tired, but the deer was getting attacked. It was strange, since monsters don't attack animals a whole lot.
I killed the monsters, but the poor thing was really hurt. It was hiding under a tree. It let me approach it when I did. My guess is it was just too injured to move.
I'm getting some potions, and then I'm gonna get back to it.

I treated its injuries. I was so close to it, I could see features that I probably might've missed before. The deer's antlers are actually small, so it's really young. It's got some speckle of white small patches under its eyes, it almost looks like freckles.
Being a deer and having freckles, pick a struggle. (LOL)
Deo had some freckles, they weren't that visible but whe ...
Went off track there.
And, this detail's real fuckin weird, but the area around its eyes is darkened, it's kinda creepy. The eyes on the other hand?
Weirdly.. human-like and shit. They're beautiful. Like the lightest brown colour that shines.
Almost like fresh honey.
Wow, I really must miss Deo a lot.

I cleaned up my house a bit.
To finish off what I was writing before.
I treated the deer's injuries, and fed it some apples and carrots. It stared at me for a long ass time before it just.. limped off.
Yup, I mean, what else was I expecting from an animal? It doesn't remember who I am and that it has seen me like three times already.
It has a bandage on one of its legs now though, so if it ever comes by again, I'll know.
Why do I care so much about this random animal?

It's been like two days and the deer just keeps hanging outside of Business Bay and following me around whenever I'm outside. What does it want? Does it like me now? Whenever I try to touch it- him, he just moves away like an idiot. But he follows me, even around the bay.
Bitzel and Luke picked up on it as well, they're calling me The Wild Caretaker. Very funny, coming from the guy who has a million cats, BITZEL.
Kinda like it though.

Okay, it's officially been three days, and the deer keeps on following me. It's fucking weird. He's with me when I go farming, mining, or when I go on normal walks. But he still won't let me touch him. Is it something magic related? I don't remember any spells that would attract animals to me.

I'm sitting behind Deo's house. When I think about magic, I get upset. If only we wouldn't have tried to get that stupid herb, Deo wouldn't have probably run off, and disappear.
