To the place in our memories

Summary:

They say trio friendships don't work because one of them will always be left behind. Yeosang doesn't believe that, as his has been working for four years now.

But… nobody said it wouldn't work if two are in love with each other or one is in love with the other two. And that's where his crisis starts – he's in love with Wooyoung and San, who are in love with each other and are dating each other. How did he end up like this? He's not sure, but all he knows is heartbreak is coming for him.

Work Text:

Yeosang doesn't know what time it is, but he feels like he's been sleeping way too long, so his anxiety woke him up when he thought he was late for class. He opens his eyes and checks his phone. It's 9:30. Great. He's awake two hours early for his class, and he groans out in frustration.

This always happened, and he hates it. Whenever he gets comfortable resting more, his anxiety decides to be a bitch, and it always messes with him. Either he's awake too early or too late. It's never right on time, and he doesn't understand.

As he was about to close his eyes again, he heard laughter from outside. He told himself to just go back to sleep and not bother with it, but his anxiety is telling him to go take a look. He groans out once again before getting down from his bed gently, walking towards the door and opening it a little to take a peek outside.

What he saw definitely hurt him. His eyes softened up; pain pierced through his heart. He could see Wooyoung sitting on the kitchen stool with his arms wrapped around San's neck and legs around the male's waist. And San has his hands on Wooyoung's hips while they're talking, laughing in such a close proximity.

They love each other; they're dating. Yeosang knows that, but he wishes he was a part of it. He's in love with both of them, and he knows damn well they don't love him like that because he's not like them. He's different. Nobody can accept him; nobody can handle him. That's what they all love to say: Yeosang doesn't deserve anyone.

He was too deep in thoughts that Wooyoung almost caught him. The minute Wooyoung looked around, Yeosang shut the door quickly but gently and then went back to bed. He got under his blanket, hands on his chest as his heart was beating fast. Too many things are on his mind, and more than half of them are bad things. Just a teeny tiny bit of those thoughts are asking him – wouldn't it be nice if he was with them romantically? How would it be to be loved by San and Wooyoung? How does it feel to be touched and pampered by those two? He's beyond sad because he'll never find out.

At the moment he heard footsteps, he shut his eyes and turned around to face the window while hugging his pillow, pretending to be asleep. His door was opened slowly, and the footsteps came even closer; he could even feel their presence near him.

"Is he still sleeping? Doesn't he have class to go to?"

"Youngie, his class starts at 11:30. It's Monday, and he has class that late only on Monday."

Yeosang swears he was about to open his eyes as he was shocked, but he held himself back. How does San remember the time of his class? To some, it might make sense because they're friends and roommates, but Yeosang doesn't even have the same class as San. He doesn't want to, but his thoughts are telling him that remembering something about someone is part of liking someone. His heart is seriously beating so fast, and he can't stay still, so he pretends to stretch his arms, yawns and turns around before opening his eyes.

"Whㅡwhat are you guys doing here?"

Wooyoung flashes a smile at Yeosang before plopping down on the bed next to him; he wraps his left arm around the male's waist before shoving his face at the crook of Yeosang's neck. And the weird thing is that San looks at them with those soft, loving eyes instead of being jealous of how touchy Wooyoung is with him. Yeosang bites his lower lip as his cheeks heat up in embarrassment.

"Young-ah, Sangie is blushing!" San exclaims, and Wooyoung pulls away from the male's neck instantly to look at him closely. He coos at how cute Yeosang looks with his cheeks all red. He nuzzles his nose against Yeosang's cheek, and gosh… this made it even harder for Yeosang to forget his feelings and move on. And again, why does San look okay?

San turns on the air conditioner in Yeosang's room before he opens the male's closet, looking through his outfits. Wooyoung turns around to look at San before he pulls Yeosang up to make him sit on the bed. Yeosang looks at Wooyoung confusedly, then back at San.

Seeing him from the back is just insane. How is San real? The male has average height, broad shoulders, muscular biceps, and a tiny waist. God definitely took time while making him. His gaze went to Wooyoung. Wooyoung is pretty too. Ethereal, to be exact. His tan skin, mole under his eye, sharp jawline, and cute nose. They're definitely perfect for each other.

As he was deep in thoughts again, he was brought back to reality when Wooyoung waved his hand in front of his face. He looks at Wooyoung, then at San, who was holding a set of outfits in his hands.

"Sangie, wear this to your class. You'll look amazing."

Wooyoung nods twice excitedly at San's response before he looks at his boyfriend. "But San-ah, others are definitely gonna look at him. I don't like that…" Yeosang's eyebrows twitched at the male's words. What does he mean by he doesn't like it when others look at him?  And San's response doesn't make his thoughts calm down either.

"I know, I don't like it either. But I'd love to see our baby dress up and let others be jealous that we have him."

"What?" Yeosang speaks out abruptly, and he curses at himself internally. He was supposed to say that in his head, not out loud. Both San and Wooyoung look at him before San asks what was wrong. As much as he doesn't want to say it, he has to because they heard him already. There was no turning back.

"What do you mean by thㅡthose words? Jealous? You have me? What are you talking about?"

Wooyoung presses his lips together tightly as he looks at San and then back at Yeosang. And Yeosang knows that look. It was Wooyoung's 'gotcha' look. He has that look when something that isn't meant to be said is said. He hates it right now. Are they hiding something from him?

San looks down at his feet for a few minutes, and as he was about to explain, Yeosang told Wooyoung to get up and tell them to leave, as he wanted to shower and get ready for class. Wooyoung looked like a kicked puppy, which made Yeosang feel even worse.

He just can't deal with these right now. He has been harbouring feelings for them for four damn years already. And suddenly they're talking about these? Dealing with his own feelings and thoughts is a lot already, so he can't have whatever they said on his plate right now.

"Sangie…" San calls out softly as he places the outfit on the bed gently to not wrinkle it. He holds Wooyoung's hand to pull the male next to him. Seeing that only adds fuel to the fire in Yeosang's heart. Yeosang swallows his saliva down his throat as he balls his fists at his sides.

"Just… leave, please."

Wooyoung's eyebrows furrowed at Yeosang's words; his eyes went down to look at the male's fists. He doesn't understand why Yeosang is like this all of a sudden.

"What's wrong with you?"  San looks at Wooyoung as his boyfriend asked that to Yeosang, who looks shocked. San tugs Wooyoung's hand, giving him a signal to stop it because he knows where this is going to go, and it'll be bad, so bad.

"No, I'm not gonna shut up this time. You've been treating us like shits these past few weeks. Actually, ever since we moved in 2 months ago, you've been weird and awful."

Awful. Wooyoung said he's been awful. Wow. Such a simple word could tear his heart so badly. His heart was beating even faster; his hands are starting to shake.

"I thought you wanted to move in with us, but why are you so distant? You barely hang out with us for movie nights, you leave for class without telling us, and you do your own stuff outside, which had us worried sick. Do you know that we care so much for you? Why are you so selfish, Yeosang-ah?"

Ouch. Selfish. Another simple word that rips his heart out again. At this point, he feels physically sick upon hearing Wooyoung's words.

He knows that he was wrong as well. He knows that he does things without telling them, making them worried, but he doesn't expect for Wooyoung to let it out this way to him. Seeing how San is tensed but not saying anything, he must've felt the same. He made the kind, patient, caring San feel that way too. He really doesn't deserve a spot in this world.

"I… I can't say anything. I can't. What do you want me to say? It's hard for me to open up."

Wooyoung pulls his hand away from San's hold to mess his hair in frustration before he looks straight at Yeosang. He could see how those once pretty, lively eyes are now sort of empty. He doesn't know what went wrong or where it went wrong. And it frustrates him so much.

"And this is why you're always alone and nobody wanna approach you!"

Yeosang's fists opened as he heard those words, beyond shocked that his best friend of four years said that. He was utterly disappointed and hurt, so hurt that Wooyoung used his overthinking issue against him when he knows that Yeosang is always overthinking as to why nobody approaches him like how they approached San or Wooyoung.

San, who was standing next to Wooyoung, was shocked as well. His eyes were wide, and he whispers Wooyoung's name in complete disbelief.

At the sight of Yeosang, who has tears brimming in his eyes and hands shaking, Wooyoung realised what he had said. Before he could even apologise, Yeosang told them to leave while he was crying. Wooyoung feels absolutely bad for saying that; he reaches out his hands to hold Yeosang, but the male flinches and steps back.

"Lㅡleave… I don't wanna see you and talk to you."

"Sangie… I'm sorry… I diㅡdidn't mean to say that. You know I love you, right? I'm sorry, please!"

Wooyoung pleads as he, too, cries at the sight of Yeosang bawling, avoiding his eye contact. Yeosang opens the door with San pulling Wooyoung out of the room, who was pleading that he's sorry and he didn't mean those words.

Yeosang slams the door and locks it; he leans against it before placing his right arm over his mouth to cry out. His left hand is fisted by his side, knuckles turning white at how hard he's balling his fist.

His chest physically hurts; he's having a hard time breathing as he's panting heavily before making his way towards his study desk. He opened one of the drawers and pulled out a bottle of pills; he poured out a pill and took it before chugging it down with water.

Yeosang placed his hands on top of the desk as he closed his eyes, counting numbers internally, trying to calm himself down after taking the pill. He walks to the bed and sits on it, trying to breathe normally as his eyes and chest hurt. He took his phone and texted his lecturer, letting him know that he'll be absent from class today as he's feeling unwell. Thank goodness that Yeosang isn't the type to skip or take a break from classes; the lecturer gave him permission to be away from class with ease.

He lay on his bed, letting his thoughts consume him bit by bit. He could hear Wooyoung and San talking outside, in the living room. It seems like San is trying to calm Wooyoung down, who was trying to go back to Yeosang's room, wanting to apologise and explain. The last thing he heard was "You hurt him!" before everything went black, and maybe he drifted off to dreamland.

─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───

Yeosang was awake all of a sudden when his chest felt tight out of the blue. He sits up slowly, and his room is dark. He looks at the digital clock next to his bed, and it shows 19:35. Did he fall asleep that long? He looks at his hands and feels a teeny tiny bit better.

He reached for his phone next to the clock to unlock it and saw all the messages and missed calls from Mingi, Yunho and… San and Wooyoung. Why did they call him? He opens the text messages.

- Ming     : Sangie where the fuck are you? It's almost class why aren't you here yet?

- Yun       : Are you okay, Sangie? Are you sick?

- San 🤍  : Sangie.. I'm really sorry for what happened.. Pls let us explain to you. We're worried :((

- Woo 🤍 : sang.. im sorry. pls dont shut me and san out. im really sorry for saying those mean stuffs to you i dont mean it

Yeosang wipes his tears as they roll down on his cheeks while he's reading the messages. He looks again at the clock and gets dressed. San and Wooyoung will be back soon, and being here is the last thing he wants. After putting on a warm outfit and packing his medium-sized backpack, he wrote a note and left it on his study desk.  He wore his cap and mask before walking out of the room, then leaving the house after putting his shoes on.

He doesn't know where to go, but for now, leaving the place is his goal. He presses the elevator button and waits for a few minutes before getting in the right one and the door closes. Just after the door closed, the elevator on the left opened with San and Wooyoung walking out of it.

"He still doesn't reply to me…"

San pats Wooyoung's back gently to calm him down. He enters the passcode and walks inside after opening the door. The two stopped in their tracks when they noticed the whole house, including Yeosang's room, was dark.

Thoughts are starting to run wild inside Wooyoung's head. He turns on the lights and makes his way to Yeosang's room with San following from behind. He was expecting for the door to be locked like earlier, but he was met with it being open, and the room was dark and empty.

San was nervous to turn on the lights because at this point, he knows it. He could feel there was no presence in the room, and he was scared. Wooyoung, who was impatient, turned on the lights, and he almost stumbled back, but thank goodness San got him.

The room was neat and empty. The outfit that San picked for Yeosang earlier was still on the bed. Yeosang was nowhere to be found, but San spotted the note on the desk. He walks past Wooyoung to get there and picks up the note, reading it before shaking his head.

"No, Sangie…"

Wooyoung took the note from San; his eyes grew wider with each word he read before he sat on the chair, holding the note in his hand – unable to believe what was written on the piece of paper.

[ By the time you found this note, I'd be gone already. I'm sorry if you think I hide stuff from both of you. I do have a lot of unsaid things, but I can't tell them… it'll ruin everything. Well, as it is, everything's already ruined because of me. I'll accept the fact that I'm alone; nobody wanna approach me cause of how I am. I acknowledge that. I'm sorry you guys are hurt because of me. There's nothing wrong with you guys; I'm the problem here. Both of you mean so much to me that words can't describe how much. I've been imagining things for so long, but I guess I don't deserve a happy ending. Look at me, I have nothing to offer. I'll be away, and if the problem is gone, everything's solved and will be okay. I'm really sorry, and I love you both so much, so so much. Take care always, my sunshines.

xoxo, Yeosang. ]

San is standing there; he doesn't know what to do or what to think because the person he loves the most with Wooyoung, is gone and is away from both of them. He wants to find him, but right now, he's still in denial. He refused to believe that Yeosang, their Yeosang, isn't here anymore. He hates it so much that even when it's their fault, Yeosang would still apologise and put the blame on him. Yeosang is just so kind and selfless that sometimes they wonder if he has ever gotten mad at anyone or yelled at someone before. By the look of it, he'd say no.

On the other hand, Wooyoung was holding the letter, and his mind is going haywire right now. Did Yeosang go away because of what he said earlier? Wooyoung places the note on the desk and looks up at San with teary eyes. San looks down at Wooyoung, hugging the male tightly before he bursts out into tears. The male holds onto San's shirt as he cries, bawling while calling out Yeosang's name. San bites his lower lip, heart aching at how Wooyoung is, but he's determined to find Yeosang's whereabouts.

After a few minutes, Wooyoung has calmed down, and San squats down on the floor in front of him, holding the male's face with his hands. He wipes the remaining tears on Wooyoung's cheeks and pecks the male's forehead softly.

"I'm sorry, Young-ah. We'll find him, I promise. We'll tell him everything that he needs to know, and what happens next is beyond our control, okay?"

Wooyoung nods his head twice in response before speaking. "We have to make him come back, Sannie. We have to…" San hums in response before hugging Wooyoung tightly in his arms, stroking his back soothingly. Wooyoung knows he was wrong for saying those things at Yeosang, he'll acknowledge that but for now he just needs the man to be home, to be with them again. San gasps softly as he thought of something.

"Yunho has the same class as Sangie, right?" Wooyoung nods his head at San's question. "He probably knows where Sangie is. We should ask him!" San exclaims happily as he thanks himself for remembering that detail. San pulls out his phone to text Yunho, then pulls Wooyoung up so that they can sit on Yeosang's bed while waiting for Yunho's reply, praying and hoping for the best.

─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───

Yeosang glances at his watch, and it's already 10 past 9; he's hungry and it's slightly cold, so he makes his way towards a small restaurant at the roadside. He enters the place and takes a seat by the window before opening his mask and cap. He looks at the menu and places his order, then pulls out his phone to check the text messages again. As he was about to keep his phone, it vibrated, and Yunho's name flashed across the screen. He picks up the call, shocked to be greeted with Yunho's loud voice.

"Yah, Kang Yeosang! Where are you? Why did you run away from home?"

Yeosang pulls the phone away from his ear to look at the name again, and it's Yunho who's calling him, but how does he know that Yeosang was away from home?

"How do you even know that I'm away from home?"

He heard deep sighs over the line, and he just knew that Yunho was probably massaging his temple in frustration. He takes a sip of his water, waiting for the male to respond.

"San texted me and said that you guys had a misunderstanding. When he came back from class with Wooyoung, you were gone already. And Wooyoung was a crying mess."

Yeosang's heart starts to beat fast at those two names before his eyes widen when he hears Yunho's words. San did what? And Wooyoung cried? Gosh… Now he felt even bad. He didn't mean to make Wooyoung cry, but he had to be away because his thoughts are so messy and it was suffocating being there. Yunho's sigh over the line snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Yunho-yah… Things aren't easy right now. I…"

"Sang-ah, you have to let them know your feelings. They don't know what you're thinking of or what you're feeling. They deserve to know the truth and… I can only say this much, but you have to know the truth from them too."

Yeosang's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. He has to know the truth from them too? What does that mean?

"What do you mean by that?"

There was silence for a few minutes before Yunho spoke up again.

"I can't tell you, and I'm not supposed to say that either, but... just see them and explain or listen to whatever it is they have to say. I promise you it's worth it. Where are you right now? Are you gonna stay over with me and Mingi tonight?"

Yeosang hums in response before apologising to Yunho, telling him that he feels bad for crashing at their place. However, Yunho, being Yunho, reassures him that he's always welcome at their place, no matter what. Yeosang thanked him, saying that he's having his dinner, and then he'll head there. He could also hear Mingi's voice exclaiming for him to eat well and stay safe. And aside from San and Wooyoung, he's definitely thankful to have Yunho and Mingi with him during ups and downs. He doesn't remember exactly how they met, but all he knows is that the moment they became close, those two giants always protected him whenever San and/or Wooyoung weren't there.

He thanked the staff who placed his kimchi stew with a bowl of rice and the side dishes on the table together with his can of coke. He looks at his phone's wallpaper – a picture of him being hugged or squished by Wooyoung and San. He remembers that they went to the restaurant that San recommended. Wooyoung was so excited that time that he and San had to tell him to control himself. He smiles to himself at the memories, all sorts of thoughts rushing in.

All of a sudden, Yunho's words came to his mind, and maybe he was right. They deserve to know the truth from him, and he deserves to know whatever it is that they have or want to tell him.  For now, he starts to eat his dinner while keeping in touch with Yunho in case there's any update from the male regarding San and Wooyoung.

─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───

San and Wooyoung took a cab from their apartment to Yunho's shared apartment with Mingi after receiving news from Yunho about Yeosang. As they were in the car, San bit his lower lip while looking out the window, and Wooyoung glanced at him. He knows that look. San is absolutely nervous, and it's visible on his face right now. Wooyoung slips his left hand into San's right one to hold it gently, stroking the knuckles with his thumb to calm him down. San looks at Wooyoung and flashes a smile, appreciating what his boyfriend is doing. San rarely feels nervous about stuff, but when he does, it's serious to him, and you can see it on his face.

As they were deep in thoughts, the car stopped in front of an apartment building before the driver told them that they'd arrived. They thanked the driver, got out of the car after paying and walked inside to find the elevator. Once they found it, they entered after pressing the up button. San told Wooyoung which floor, and the male presses the number 12. As time passes by with the elevator going up, their hearts start to beat fast, nervous even though they knew who was going to be there. To them, seeing Yeosang again after what happened is nerve-wracking. But deep down, San is feeling good about this.

The minute they arrived at the designated floor, they walked out hand-in-hand to Yunho's place. As they're about to press the doorbell, the door opens to reveal Mingi, who's smiling widely. San and Wooyoung were shocked because they didn't even do anything yet. Mingi greets them happily and hugs them before stepping aside to let them inside.

"How did you know we were outside?" San asks as he's still surprised, and Yunho, who was waiting for them in the living room, showed them their phone, where he has a CCTV installed near their door, and he's able to monitor it on his phone. Wooyoung nods his head, finding it amusing how there are things like that. Mingi snorted before receiving a smack on his arm by Wooyoung for calling him old for saying that.

Both San and Wooyoung stopped in their tracks when they were in the living room, as they noticed another presence aside from Yunho and Mingi, who were sitting on the couch. Wooyoung glanced at San, who seemed tense.

Is it who they think it is? Yunho pats the person's left shoulder, and he stands up before turning around. As soon as they saw who it was, they tensed up – all sorts of feelings and thoughts rushed into their head. Mingi was at the kitchen, just witnessing whatever it is that's unfolding in front of his eyes. On the other hand, Yunho gently encourages them to make their way to San and Wooyoung.

"Sang-ah, they're here. Go, mhm? I'll be in the room with Mingi. If you need either one of us, just call."  Yeosang looks at Yunho as he nods his head, thanking him before Yunho brings Mingi into their room, giving the three of them space.

As soon as the door closed, Yeosang was about to make his way towards them, but they were faster. San and Wooyoung went to him instead. Before Wooyoung looked at him, checking his body to see if he was hurt or anything, San told him to stop because Yeosang was okay, safe and in one piece. Yeosang bites his lower lip as his cheeks turn red; he's blushing in embarrassment. San stretches his right hand to stroke Yeosang's head gently; his eyes never leave Yeosang's. Yeosang is still confused with this. Did he miss something, or... he definitely missed something.

"Cㅡcan we talk?" Yeosang asks, finding it hard to initiate the conversation, but he did it. Wooyoung finds it amusing how it was Yeosang who broke the ice and not him or San. San nods his head twice in response, then urges the other two to sit on the couch with Yeosang in the middle, sandwiched between him and Wooyoung. Both of them are holding themselves back from cooing at how cute Yeosang is looking right now because it's absolutely obvious that he's blushing.

Wooyoung clears his throat as he glances at San before looking at Yeosang, trying to give and receive a signal from his lover. Yeosang was talking to himself internally about what he wants to say and ask, but before he could let his thoughts out, San beat him to it.

"Sangie. We have something we wanna tell you. It has been on our mind for quite a while now, and I think this is the right time to say it."

"And before we do so, I wanna apologise for what I said earlier at home. I admit that I was annoyed 'cause you haven't been hanging out with us; we don't know what you're thinking and all since you're more comfortable in your own space. I was awful; what I said and did was childish and mean. I'm really sorry, Sangie. I just want you to know that we love you and care for you so much."

While they were talking, San was holding his right hand, while Wooyoung was holding his left one. This is definitely overwhelming, but maybe in a good way because he doesn't expect for them to sit down and talk about this fact, but here they are. He presses his lips together tightly, taking in the words that have been said by Wooyoung to him. Can he say it now? Should he be honest now? His thoughts were interrupted when San lifted his chin up to make the male look at him.

"Yeosang-ah. What we wanna say is thatㅡ"

"I like both of you!"

Yeosng exclaims as he shuts his eyes tightly, too nervous to even look at them as he has now spewed the truth that he's been hiding for years. Gosh, he's so nervous that he doesn't want to look at them. The silence doesn't make it better, as he's starting to think that they're probably thinking of ways to reject him.

Just as he wants to overthink more, he's engulfed in a tight hug, which he guesses is San, judging from how strong the pair of arms are around him. What happens next isn't what he expected – a peck on his lips. He doesn't have to guess who, as San hissed before calling out Wooyoung's name. When they plead for him to open his eyes, he complies with it, and the two of them are smiling widely.

"Kang Yeosang, you have no idea how long we've been waiting to hear that from you."

Yeosang's eyebrows furrowed at those words. Huh? Wait, what? They've been wanting to hear that from him? Seriously?

"Sangie, the reason why we wanted to talk to you is because we like you too, romantically. We've been wanting to confess to you, but we thought it'd be a bad idea since we didn't know what you feel towards us. That's why we're always jealous whenever you receive those confession letters. It's also why we always wanna be with you wherever you go so others can take the hint that we want you and you're unavailable."

Upon hearing San's words, Yeosang failed to hold back his shy smile, as he feels super loved, wanted and appreciated right now. Wooyoung coos at the adorable reaction before he pecks Yeoang's cheek softly.

"And we know you felt jealous whenever you saw the two of us being all lovey-dovey with each other. That's why we wanted you with us, but since we didn't know how you feel about us, we thought it'd be insensitive to ask you to hang with us. We're sorry we didn't notice how things are."

Yeosang looks at Wooyoung, who was talking, letting those words absorb him as he feels better bit by bit with these explanations. And now he feels embarrassed because he thought they didn't feel the same way, but it turns out they like him too. San brings his hand up to his lips to press soft kisses on the back of the male's hand while Wooyoung rests his head on Yeosang's shoulder.

"I… honestly didn't expect this. I've been wanting to be a part of you guys, but I always feel that I'm selfish and bad for wanting so when the two of you are happy with each other. Leaving home did it good for me cause I came to the conclusion that I need to be honest with you guys, now or never, you know. I catch on late to the hints and words you guys have been giving me, but now it makes sense why you said what you said and did what you did. I had a plan before this of moving out cause I feel like an intruder in the house, but since we all feel the same way, I think that's unnecessary now."

Both San and Wooyoung nod their heads twice in response to Yeosang's words. They feel grateful that Yeosang took the huge step to let things out to them and be honest with them, as they know it's not easy, especially for someone like Yeosang. They look at him with love and adoration. Yes, this is the man that they love; they wanna love and protect him until their last breath.

"It won't be easy, I can say that because there are three of us in this relationship, but we'll talk it out and discuss it among us, okay? Just know that getting together isn't easy, so I'm not gonna let this relationship go to drain just like that."

Yeosang nods his head upon San's words, thanking him for saying so. Wooyoung can't stop smiling, and his cheeks hurt, honestly. He pulls Yeosang into a tight hug before showering his face with kisses that had Yeosang squealing before he laughs out loud. San looks at the two of them, and his heart feels full – this is home; this is where they belong: with each other.

"Are we boyfriends now?" Yeosang asks, which had both San and Wooyoung feel all giddy and happy. Wooyoung nods his head twice in response before exclaiming that they're boyfriends and Yeosang belongs to them, only them.

Yeosang looks at them, feeling happy and thankful that Yunho talked to him about this and feeling brave to come here and be honest with them. He doesn't regret this one bit. He repeats the word 'boyfriend' before giving San and Wooyoung each a soft peck on their lips. At the moment Yeosang told them that he loves them; they told him to repeat it, as they thought they heard it wrong.

"I love you guys. I love you, San and Wooyoung, my boyfriends. I love you so, so much."

"We love you too, Sangie." San responds and kisses his forehead.

"We love you even more, my sunshine." Wooyoung said before he pecked the male's lips a few times.

And that's enough. They may have had a rough start, but they talked it out, came to a conclusion about things, and decided to understand one another – that's beyond enough for them. Yeosang pulled both of them into a tight hug before he squealed again when those two showered his face with kisses.

Yunho and Mingi open the door to peek outside; the sight unfolding in front of them made them contented. Yunho's glad that San asked him about Yeosang and him calling Yeosang about it. Mingi's just glad that they're finally together, as he's sick and tired of their push-and-pull game. Yunho pecks Mingi's cheek, telling him to let them have their time but not forgetting to let them know that they have their own place as well.

Wooyoung snorts at Yunho's remarks, which earn laughter from Yeosang and San, who shakes his head, clearly unamused with Wooyoung's actions. After they'd calmed down, they thanked Yunho and Mingi for helping before bidding them goodbye to go back home.

And on their way back home, Yeosang never let go of his hold on San's and Wooyoung's hands. Being honest is definitely good, and he's thankful for how things are right now. He'd never trade it for anything else – San and Wooyoung feel the same. They're definitely lucky to have their precious Yeosang with them, not as best friends but as boyfriends. While waiting for the cab, San pulls Yeosang in for a passionate kiss; he loves how soft Yeosang's lips are. Before he could initiate more, Wooyoung held Yeosang's chin to make the male look at him so he could capture the male's lips with his softly. They pulled away from the kiss just in time as the cab arrived after the kiss was done.

In the cab, Yeosang thinks that being with the two of them is really, really worth it. He has to agree with Yunho's words about it. He loves them, and he wants this forever, for eternity.
