Hongjoong groans as he rolls over to the right side and extends his left hand to grab his phone, turning off the alarm before placing his phone on his stomach. He could hear low commotion outside in the living room, but he couldn't care less, as the bed, pillows and blanket feel so good right now with the air conditioner on full blast.
After some inner talk with himself, he fell back to sleep while hugging a pillow tightly, not even bothering about the alarm that he had set last night. The door of the captain's room opened gently, and a figure walked to his bed before placing a hand on the sleeping male's arm to wake him up.
"Hyung."
Jongho calls out to the older softly while stroking the male's arm gently. Hongjoong regrets sleeping late, as he forgot he has to be at the airport by noon for their flight to Hong Kong for the Asia tour. Was it 5 a.m.? Or 6 a.m.? Probably around that time he went to bed. He doesn't really remember what he was working on at the studio at that time, but he regrets sleeping late.
If Seonghwa were to know this, he'd probably nag right next to his ear since he made a promise to the members to not sleep late, especially if there are upcoming schedules.
Jongho chuckles lowly when Hongjoong extends his hands up before the maknae holds the elder's hands to pull him up slowly. The younger sat next to the male on the bed and stroked the back of the captain's head gently.
"Did you sleep late again, hyung?"
At the question, Hongjoong whines and nods his head twice in response slowly while resting his head against the younger's arm.
The door opened widely with the living room light blaring in the room, which made Hongjoong groan in frustration before Wooyoung entered the room while holding his bag. The corners of his lips twitched upwards into a wide smile at the adorable sight unfolding in front of his eyes.
"Hyung? Are you still sleeping? We have to go to the airport in an hour. Have you packed your stuff yet?" Wooyoung asks as he turns on the light after placing his bag on the gaming chair in the room and then makes his way towards the two men on the bed.
Hongjoong pulls away from Jongho to look up sleepily at Wooyoung, who's now giggling at him, before the older wraps his arms around Wooyoung's waist to pull him closer, resting his head against the younger's stomach. Jongho looks up at Wooyoung while smiling widely, finding their captain cute.
Usually, sleepy Hongjoong is dangerous in the household because he'd either not listen to anyone or he'd have his own tantrum, a temper that no one dares to talk to whenever he's sleepy or tired. But today, the captain is acting different. He's not his usual cranky self but rather, the clingy and cute one, so it's something new to both Wooyoung and Jongho.
The maknae strokes Hongjoong's head gently with love and asks the captain the question that Wooyoung asked just now. The only response they get is a single nod. Wooyoung looks at the maknae and asks in concern if the older is okay or not. Before Jongho could reply, Hongjoong pulls away from the hug and looks at Wooyoung properly now, even though he can barely open his eyes.
"I'm alright. Just… so sleepy," Hongjoong said as he stood up from the bed slowly to stretch himself, with Jongho patting his butt playfully before Wooyoung told him to go shower while he made the bed.
The captain giggles lowly and makes his way to the toilet after pecking both Wooyoung and Jongho on the cheek, which left both of them speechless at the blunt action. Jongho stood up from the bed as well to help Wooyoung, then brought their bags out to the living room.
Hongjoong walks out of the bathroom to stand there while brushing his teeth, looking at the two maknaes who were busy putting their stuff together on the couch as well as cleaning the living room since they'll be away from home for a few days.
At the moment Wooyoung turns around, he exclaims out loudly when he sees Hongjoong standing outside of the bathroom, looking small and innocent as he's brushing his teeth. The older blinks his eyes confusedly upon the younger's reaction. On the other hand, Jongho just shakes his head at Wooyoung before telling Hongjoong to finish washing up as their manager is on the way.
The captain nods his head twice in response as he goes back inside to finish up and take a shower. Wooyoung plops down on the couch, rubbing his chest to calm himself down.
"What's up with you just now, hyung?" Jongho asks as he sits next to the older, chuckling since he finds it funny how scared Wooyoung was over Hongjoong standing outside of the bathroom.
"No… He was just standing there, and I was shocked; that's it."
Wooyoung said softly as he felt embarrassed, his thoughts replaying him getting shocked a while ago, which made him blush a little. Jongho scoffs while smiling before he pokes Wooyoung's cheek playfully.
As Hongjoong walks out of the bathroom shirtless with just a towel wrapped around his waist, Wooyoung stares at him, eyes following the male who's walking to his room to get dressed instantly.
The maknae, too, mirrors Wooyoung's actions before he shakes his head, rubbing his cheeks that are feeling hot since he blushed.
The members have seen each other shirtless, of course, but it still feels new whenever one of them goes shirtless or takes their top off in front of the others. Wooyoung clears his throat as he stands up, fixing his outfit at the moment the front door of their place opens with their manager calling out for them.
Hongjoong walks out of the room at the speed of light after getting ready and was about to take his own bag, but Jongho took his, saying that he got it. The captain grins cheekily as he thanks the maknae before yawning while they leave the place to head to the airport.

"Hyung~ Hyung, wake up!"
"Is he seriously in deep sleep?"
A few soft taps on the captain's right cheek woke him up, and he looked around in the van to see both Wooyoung and Jongho looking at him. Hongjoong smiles sleepily while nodding his head and gets out from the van after their manager opened the door.
He could see some ATINYs with their cameras, and gosh, he just knew that his sleepy face look would be all over the internet soon.
One by one, the members gather around him, cooing at how small and sleepy he looks. Seonghwa strokes his head gently, and Yunho chuckles, saying that their captain looks like a sleepy kid who's going to school.
As he was with one of the managers, he fixed his hair, telling himself mentally to stay awake a bit more. And he saw the other seven members keep stealing glances at him, exchanging words between them, but Hongjoong is too sleepy to care right now. He'll deal with them later. All he wants right now is to sleep. He needs to sit or lie down and sleep.
"Okay. He's with manager hyung, so he's not looking anymore," Mingi said as he glanced at the captain, who's standing with their manager. San nods his head as he looks at the members, exchanging knowing glances. Yeosang said something about each of them carrying their part as soon as they arrive at the hotel, and the others agreed to it.
Jongho gave the members a cheeky smile as he nodded. "Operation 'Tuck Joongie Hyung in Bed' starts now." The others nod their heads as they respond with an "okay" in unison. Seeing how sleepy and tired their hard-working captain is, they've come up with the idea of wanting to spoil and pamper the man.

As soon as they've arrived at the hotel and are done with the check-in process, Hongjoong sprints to his room before throwing himself on the big, comfortable bed after opening the door with the access card. He groans out in pure satisfaction, inhaling the good laundry scent from the blanket.
He was about to fall asleep when he felt a smack on his butt, which made him look behind to see San smiling cheekily at him with the other members walking in his room one by one. Yunho, being the last one to enter, closes the door behind him and heads to the bed as well.
"Oh? What are you guys doing here?" Hongjoong asks as he struggles to let all the words out since he was yawning in between.
He sits up on the bed lazily to look at them who are scattered around the room – Seonghwa and Yeosang are next to him on the bed, Yunho is on the computer chair, San is on Jongho's lap who's on the single sofa, and Mingi and Wooyoung are on the bed in front of him.
"We've noticed that you're exhausted and sleepy, so..." Seonghwa said as he trails his words, then looks at Yunho. "So, we made an operation of tucking you in bed!" The tallest male exclaims with his arms up happily, making the captain laugh softly and nod his head twice in response.
"That sounds cute, so..." Hongjoong yawns before continuing his words. "Continue what you're gonna do. I'm really gonna be a log today."
The others chuckle at his words, with Yeosang scooping Hongjoong up in his arms swiftly (thanks to the muscles) while Seonghwa arranges the pillows into a more comfortable position and Mingi pulls up the blanket so that Yeosang can lay the captain at the middle of the bed.
Wooyoung coos at how cute Hongjoong is that when he pulls the blanket over the male's body up to his chest, he leans in to peck the male's lips a few times softly.
San, who was on Jongho's lap, threw a sound of disagreement at Wooyoung stealing kisses. Jongho giggles upon San's reaction while stroking his sides gently, letting the others do the job first.
San glances back at Jongho as he purses his lips to form a pout, the maknae getting the sign to just lean in to peck the elder's lips, which earns a wide smile from San. This hyung will be the death of me, Jongho thought as he, too, smiled widely at the elder's cute behaviour.
Hongjoong was just lying in bed with Seonghwa sitting next to him, stroking his head as he looks at the captain with love. Hongjoong looks up at Seonghwa and puckers his lips, asking for a kiss.
Seonghwa chuckles as he squishes the male's cheeks gently before leaning down to capture Hongjoong's lips in between his, smooching softly with Hongjoong closing his eyes as he kisses the male back sleepily.
The minute they pull away, San slips himself under the blanket on the opposite side of Seonghwa. "Hi," he squeaks out lowly at the captain, who smiles back at him before he snuggles closer to San.
The male wraps his left arm around the elder's shoulders to pull him closer; Hongjoong rests his head just under San's chin, fitting perfectly in the male's embrace.
Seonghwa is just smiling, all lovely, as he watches the sight in front of him before he calls the others to join him on the bed.
Yunho slotted himself behind Yeosang, who's hugging San. He hugs Yeosang, San and Hongjoong, thanks to his long arms. Yunho pressed soft kisses on Yeosang's and San's right cheeks and on Hongjoong's left cheek, which pulled out soft whines from the captain.
Wooyoung hugs Hongjoong easily from behind as he scoots closer to give space for Jongho, who hugs him, and Seonghwa, who's able to hug both Wooyoung and Jongho.
Mingi, who was the last one to get in bed, just easily hugs Seonghwa, Jongho, Wooyoung and Hongjoong (also thanks to his long arms).
Hongjoong peeks out of San's embrace a little to look at his right and left, seeing the members hugging each other and looking at him. His cheeks heated up in embarrassment at the looks from them. San breaks the silence as he laughs.
"What's wrong, hyung?"
The captain shakes his head as he yawns again for the umpteenth time today. He wriggles out of San's embrace for a while to give each of them a soft peck on the lips before he lies back down, as he's starting to feel embarrassed again.
"Thank you for taking care of me today. I'll try not to sleep late again, especially when we have schedules. I really appreciate all of you coming here to tuck me in bed and cuddle me. Are you guys comfortable, though?"
He asks in concern, as he's afraid the others might not feel at ease with all eight of them on the bed. Thank goodness the bed is absolutely large enough to fit all eight grown men (though they were squished against one another, but all's well).
The others nod their heads, saying they're alright as they're and they're comfortable enough. Hongjoong smiles as he rubs his eyes with the sleeves of his shirt, feeling himself slowly dozing off.
Jongho smacks the captain's butt. "Don't sleep late again, please, hyung. Seeing you so tired like this makes me worried." Hongjoong giggles as he nods his head twice in agreement to the maknae's words.
Mingi turns off the bed light at his side, then Yunho mirrors the action for the bed light at his side. The room is lighted just a bit by the bathroom light while the sounds of the air purifier fill in the room.
A few minutes passed; they heard soft snores, and they glanced at the middle to see Hongjoong is now fast asleep with his small hands holding tightly onto the blanket as he lies on his back.
Wooyoung and Yeosang tried their best to not squeal, as the male is looking absolutely small and cute. Yunho strokes the captain's head gently before Wooyoung fixes the elder's hair softly to not wake him up.
"Let's sleep and rest, babies." Seonghwa said as he nuzzles his nose against Jongho's nape with Mingi tightening the hug around him. Soft hums filled the room in response to Seonghwa's words, and one by one they fell asleep.
Jongho smiles to himself as he thinks, Operation 'Tuck Joongie Hyung in Bed' is a clean success. He tightens the hug around Wooyoung and slowly drifts off to dreamland.
