Chapter Text
They had talked and talked for days about how to storm the compound and finally, they had a plan. They agreed on dividing into two groups: Nile and Booker would be group one, while Andy, Joe, and Nicky would be group two. Each group had their own goals and they would meet in the middle of the compound if everything went according to their plan. Now they were in the middle of getting their gear ready.
"Nile," Booker said as he knocked on her door. "Do you have a moment?"
"One moment," Nile replied. "No need for you to see my naked ass before needed."
They both laughed and Nile opened the door a moment later.
"What's up crocodile?" Nile joked as she dried her hair.
Booker held up a thumb drive.
"Is it so that I can ask you to hide this so it won't be discovered before I need it on the mission?" Booker wanted to know. "In case we get searched or something."
"Sure, I can do that," Nile replied as she took the thumb drive. "With me, there is less chance it will take a swim in the Donau."
Booker let out a groan which made Nile laugh.
"Don't remind me of that," Booker said. "It was a miracle that we found that thumb drive in time."
"At least we are far away from any waters during this mission," Nile said. "Remember the shorts and the rest of the clothes I found for you."
"I'm still doing it under protest," Booker replied. "Wearing shorts in the jungle. You do know that..."
Nile crossed her arms.
"Fine, fine, fine," Booker said. "I do it but just so you know it, I hate shorts."
"It will be good for your old skin to get some sun on it," Nile said. "And some fresh air too especially because you only change pants once every month."
"Just get ready," Booker said. "We leave in an hour."
"I'm just telling the truth," Nile pointed out.
Booker returned to the living room to see the rest of the football match because it would take weeks before he could see the next one.
In Joe and Nicky's room, Andy was sulking.
"I'm saying this once again," Andy said. "It's a brilliant but also a stupid-ass plan."
"Don't worry, Boss," Joe said. "I will make sure it will be a pleasant ride for you."
Andy let out a groan. She was about to do something she absolut didn't want to do but it had to be done.
"Joe," Nicky said. "Make sure, that your Scimitar won't fall off during the fall."
"I learned my lesson the hard way the last time," Joe replied. "It took me over a week to find my Scimitar again."
Nicky looked over at Andy.
"Boss," Nicky said. "We wouldn't ask you to go with us unless it was necessary."
"I know that, Nicky," Andy replied. "I just hate heights."
They got their gear ready before parting for now. If everything went according to their plan they would see each other again in ten days at 1.37 PM local time.
