The Guild and The Armed Detective Agency. Two opposing forces from what felt like two opposite worlds. Well, that was what Poe thought before he and the rest of The Guild went to Yokohama, the enemy's territory. So how did he get here, sitting on The Agency’s couch, listening peacefully to the bickering and banter of their staff?
If you told him months ago that this is what the outcome of the war would be, he wouldn’t believe it. And honestly, he still has a hard time coming to terms with everything that has happened.
The Agency easily accepted his presence at their office, their home, without a second thought. It was admirable. Maybe that’s why he kept returning. That’s why he agreed to accept a mission even though he wasn’t a member. They needed him, and that’s all he ever wanted.

DAYS EARLIER
Somewhere in Yokohama, a blonde-haired man was quickly approaching a door, his footsteps a harmonious melody of soft thuds against the wooden floor. The sound came to a stop and was replaced by firm knocks before the silence once more returned. The seconds passed by, the ticking of a clock is the only indication of time’s movement. A quiet voice from beyond the door interrupted the stillness, giving the waiting male his approval to enter.
The quiet sound of a door opening had the grey-haired man looking up from his cup of tea, landing his gaze on the guest.
“Sir. I believe we may be facing a new issue.”

The blonde man stood in front of the desk of the grey-haired man, looking down at the paper he had provided in the others hold.
“This would certainly cause trouble for The Agency if left unattended.” A brief moment of silence was shared, the man looking over the paper once more. “Kunikida, call a meeting.”

And that leads us to where we were today. The Agency gathered at a meeting, Poe nearby due to already being in the office before the interruption took place.
“Kunikida has brought to my attention something concerning.” The grey-haired man spoke, swiftly cutting off any conversation and leaving behind silence. Once everything had settled, he spoke again, “A very powerful criminal has been spotted by the Port Mafia.” While speaking, the man slid a photo onto the table. “His name is All For One. He can steal another’s ability. We have concluded that he has formed a group and they are foolishly attempting to make their way into Yokohama.”
The room grew tense, even quieter than before, everyone trying to understand what this meant. “To protect our city once again from threats, the Port Mafia and I have decided it may be best to infiltrate the school they plan on targeting. That being the infamous U.A., where the #1 hero All Might will be. It would be in our best interest to stop their plans before they reach Yokohama.”
“President.. I understand everything you're saying and all, but wouldn’t that be super dangerous? I know we're against danger all the time, but you said this guy can take away abilities!” Atsushi spoke up finally, concern laced on his face and in his voice.
“Not abilities Atsushi-kun, quirks! He definitely wouldn’t be able to steal an ability since they’re stronger and waaayyy different.” Ranpo spun around in his chair a little, quietly sucking on a lollipop before sticking it out at Atsushi while speaking.
Junichiro interrupted Atsushi’s quiet praise of Ranpo, “Who were you planning on sending, President?”
At this everyone stopped and looked at the man in question, awaiting an answer. The president only looked around the room at everyone before landing on Poe. He had been writing into a notebook a few lines for a book that had sprung upon him, simultaneously feeding Karl a strawberry with his freehand. “Poe.” The grey-haired man called out.
At the mention of his name, the other perked up, looking over to the president. “Ah.. Did you need something, Sir?”
“Would you be willing to accompany Kunikida and Ranpo on this mission?”
…
Ehh? EHHH??!
