“Robbie, do you want M&Ms or Reese’s Cups?”
“Both.”
Steve throws both packets at Robin snuggled on his couch. “What did you pick this time?”
She passes the VHS tape to him. “Really? The Legend of Billie Jean .”
“The rules of sleepover state we trade off who chooses the movie. It’s not my fault you chose The Muppet Movie last week.”
“It’s a classic!”
“For kids!”
“You cry every time Gonzo sings “I’m Going to Go Back There Someday”.”
“Everyone does!”
“No they don’t.”
Robin leans over and tickles Steve. “Steve Andrew Harrington, let me cry over Muppets and ogle Heather Slater.”
Steve laughs. “Only if you admit The Muppet Movie is a classic.”
“Fine. The Muppet Movie is a classic. Put the tape in.”
Steve pops the tape in and fast-forwards through the commercials. He snuggles with Robin and steals M&Ms during the opening credits.
