Day 7- “I think there’s something wrong with me.”
Day 8- An object found in a pawn shop or on the road is calling to your character. What does it do? Do they buy/take it? If not, does it show up in their path again?

Steve tries not to be bothered by it. So he didn't get claimed by his mother, who cares?
There is one particular goddess who does care, who has watched Steve and who loves the way Steve loves.

Fed up with it all, he decides to get back out there and what better way to that then with a challenge? If he goes on one date a month he is bound to find the one eventually, right? And if his dates all end horribly, at least he can count on his best friend and roommate Eddie to be there for him and console him over pizza and beer.

He wakes every day to the knowledge that nothing will ever feel as good as fentanyl does. He’s okay with that. Most days. Because yeah, no single thing will ever feel as good as fentanyl, but the cumulative sum of everything he does have now is pretty good. He might still be sleeping in Jeff’s guest room, in Indiana of all goddamn places, but it’s something. He has an interview tomorrow. He’s never had an interview in his goddamn life, but how difficult could it be to wash dishes? They probably just hire people off the street for shit like that. And the girl on the phone seemed nice. He’s always liked the name Robin.
