Harry was checking the angle of the camera before hitting record and going to stand on the other side of the counter.
"Hi guys! I know you must be confused as to why I'm standing in my kitchen right now so let me give you a little context. I was peacefully live on twitch yesterday as I am almost every week, when I suddenly saw a very uncalled for comment. Someone said I 'looked like someone who can't cook'.. which is blatant defamation if you ask me. So I started calmly explaining that I in fact COULD cook but then to my surprise, the whole chat agreed that I couldn't cook. So that's why I'm here today. In this video I'm going to cook a meal for my boyfriend that I love very much and I'm going to prove to all of you that I am a great cook."
Harry put on an apron, he explained what he planned on cooking and how he was going to proceed. Once he had all the ingredients ready, he started to cook.
He had to admit that he had picked a pretty easy meal to cook, he didn't need to further embarrass himself on the internet.
He somehow prepared the sauce with very little struggle, following the instructions on his phone as closely as he could. Once the sauce was done, he bacame a little too confident and decided to finish without the instructions on his phone.
He took a bowl out and put water inside. He added raw pasta and said he was going to heat it in the microwave for a few minutes.
The microwave did a sound to announce it was done and at the same time, Harry heard keys on the door.
He let the bowl inside the microwave for now and turned around to lower the temperature of the hotplates, not wanting to burn anything.
He knew that he was about to need a little time to explain everything to his boyfriend who just got home.
"Hey babe, i'm home." Draco said, walking to their kitchen.
He was surprised to see Harry wearing an apron and looking at a pan with the camera on and recording on the other side of the kitchen island.
He stood behind de tripod and looked at him for a second, trying to understand what was happening.
"Umm Harry, what are you doing?"
"I'm cooking a meal for you"
"For me?! Well thanks babe but why? We both know you can't cook for the life of you" he said laughing softly at the last part.
"I know but I wanted to try something on my own since all I do is help you with the easiest of things when we cook. I thought it might be fun. And also, someone on my stream yesterday said that I looked like someone who can't cook. I thought about banning them from the chat after my 10 minute defence speech about how I CAN cook but I decided to just prove them I could."
Draco walked to Harry while he was explaining all of that. He was standing next to him when he stopped talking. Draco took Harry's chin in his hand, tilting it up a little and gave him a soft kiss.
"Hey you" he said smiling, letting go of his chin but hooking his arm around Harry's waist now.
"Hi" Harry answered, looking up at Draco with a smile on his face.
"So, you decided to poison me to prove to your viewers that you could cook. I'm so happy to date you." he said sarcastically.
They both chuckled a little at that. Harry turned around, stirring what was in the pan. He then walked to the microwave and took a bowl out of it.
"Am I ruining your video by standing there? Or can I stay and make sure you don't burn down our appartement ?"
"You can stay but don't help me too much, otherwise it defeats the purpose of the video. Also you don't mind appearing on the video right? You're like, standing in the middle of the frame right now."
"No I don't mind, just tell them I had a lazy day at my mom's and that's why I'm dressed like this."
He looked right at the camera then and said
"Next time I'll make sure to put on a fancy outfit for you so your viewer experience can be exploited to the fullest."
Harry laughed at that. Draco was such an awesome guy, he was so funny and just entertaining, you never got bored when he was around. This was probably the reason why his viewers loved Draco so much.
Draco didn't appear in a lot of Harry's videos, well he did, but not officially. He was always around when Harry was filming so you could hear him in the background sometimes. He also helped him film outdoor videos from time to time. He even appeared sometimes on Harry's twitch channel so it's not like the viewers never saw him. But this was the first time he would be almost in the entire video.
"Okay so I'm almost done I think. I just have to add salt to the sauce and then put the pasta in the sauce and let it all cook for a bit"
"Why the fuck was this bowl in the microwave with water and pasta inside? Did you just try to cook pasta in the microwave?"
Draco was as much horrified as he was amused. He looked at Harry, waiting for an explanation.
"Of course not, you twat! I just thought it would add texture if i heated it up a little before letting it cook in the sauce."
Draco stared at him for a second, not knowing what to do with that. He then remembered that he wasn't supposed to help so he took a step back, lifting his hands as a sign of surrender, and let Harry do his thing.
Harry proceeded to take the salt jar out of the cupboard and take a very big spoon from the drawer. He scooped one full spoon and was about to put it all in the sauce when Draco stopped him.
"Babe no, wait, that's way to much." he said, taking the spoon from Harry's hand.
"Sorry, I know I said I wouldn't help but you were about to ruin what surprisingly doesn't look that bad" he said, giving Harry a kiss on the cheek.
He helped as little as he could, mostly letting Harry finish up on his own, and then they cleaned everything out while waiting for the pasta to finish cooking.
Once they were done, Harry talked a little to the camera because he had to admit that he almost forgot he was filming a video as soon as Draco got there. He usually forgot everything that was around when Draco was with him, he loved him a whole lot.
They served the pasta on two plates and sat on the high chairs around the counter. Harry adjusted the camera angle a little before sitting down next to Draco.
They tasted the meal and it was surprisingly not bad at all. The pasta were a bit chewy and the sauce was not the perfect thickness but it was edible and this was a huge accomplishment for Harry.
"Hey this is really good babe! I have to admit I'm really surprised, I didn't know you could do something this good. I'm starting to believe you've been faking not knowing how to cook for the past 3 years."
"Hey stop, no I haven't. I just had to defend myself from this 'the guy that can't cook' reputation I was about to get." he said laughing.
"Also I don't know what you did to this sauce but I guess I'll find out when the video will come out."
"You watch my videos? Wow you're so in love with me" Harry said in a joking tone.
"Of course I watch every single one of your videos. You're a pretty entertaining guy, and you always look hot as hell so.." he said with a smirk, winking at him.

Harry finished editing the video and posted it a week after filming.
The video immediately turned out to be a huge success. The viewers loved it and were all asking to see more of Draco in the future.
A few hours after posting it, Harry sat down at his desk to read and answer comments on his latest video.
comment: "They are so cute together! It's like Harry becomes unaware of his surroundings as soon as Draco appears haha! Loved the video, keep doing what you love :)"
comment: "you HAVE to do more videos with Draco!!! i think this is my favourite video of yours so far!
comment: "omg!! finally a full (well half but anyway) video with Draco! i love their dynamic! we can see how comfortable they are around each other! amazing video!
also we have to give a special credit to the friendly banter that was going on between them the whole video haha ;)

And there were so many more. Harry was so happy to see that his viewers had loved to watch the video as much as he had loved filming it.
Having Draco on the second half of the video was so fun! He thought it was one of his favourite videos he had filmed.
He went to the living room where Draco was sat on the sofa. He snuggled up next to him and put his head on his shoulder.
"Hey did you see the comments on your last video? People seem to love it!"
"Yeah I was just reading comments before coming here. People love you. They think we form a great pair."
"Yes we do. Do you think I should sit in frame every time you film from now on?" he said jokingly.
"No, but you can tell me if you want to film anything, I think we are pretty funny together so let's film it from time to time. That way we can make memories to look back to every time we want to."
"I agree, it's always good to have videos to look back to. It always makes great memories."
