A/N: Believe it or not… my love language is /not/ physical touch, despite it being the main- and sometimes only- focus in pretty much all of my writing 0v0.
Eijiro grabbed Katsuki’s hand and tugged him over to a secluded corner, cheeks red and breath short. “Bakubro…” His voice was shaky as if he was nervous, weird.
Bakugo raised a brow at him, staring at him accusatorily. He could see the rest of the stupid Bakusqaud shaking in unison as they stared from across the room. What the fuck?
Eijiro looked at them and gave a wobbly smile before he stepped closer to Katsuki, grabbing onto his shoulders.
“Why the fuck are you tou-” Katsuki started with a sneer but Eijiro cut him off.
“I want to tell you something!” Eijiro blurted loudly, eyes closed tightly. A few heads turned to watch the interaction before they claimed that it was just the usual KiriBaku shenanigans.
“Then speak, and get your hands offa me.” Katsuki tried to shrug his heavy hands off but Eijiro only gripped tighter in response.
“Bakugo!” Eijiro’s eyes flew open. “I love you and I’ve known that for months now. Not in a ‘I love my Baku bro ’ way but in a way that makes me want to hold you when we’re hanging out, or kiss you when you look sad, or calm you down when you get irrationally angry.” Katsuki grunted in offense, too stunned to say anything.
Eijiro’s grip grew stronger and his body grew closer. “I-I think we’re soulmates Bakugo, I think we were meant to be. I mean, with my Hardening and your Explosion, its like we were made for eachother.” Eijiro spoke with a dreamy expression and hopeful eyes.
Katsuki tried not to grimace at their close proximity, along with the words he was saying. He threw a quick look to the side, looking for his bushy-haired brat of a best friend. He found Izuku cupping his mouth silently, eyes wide and upset. He wanted to comfort his shaking body, take his hand away from covering his beautiful mouth.
Before he could act on any of those thoughts, Izuku quietly excused himself from the now viciously growing crowd awaiting Katsuki’s answer to Eijiro’s confession. He watched as the bushy-haired boy eagerly fled the room, his friends dismissing him easily in order to direct their attention back to the scene at hand.
“Bakugo?” Eijiro asked softly, snapping the blond out of whatever funk he was just trapped in.
“I- Eijiro, soulmates? Really?” His glare was deadset and emotionless, which caused Eijiro to frown.
“Yeah Baku, I think we’re perfect for each other.” He now had a soft smile on his face, his teeth sharp and glistening under the harsh common room lights.
“Maybe I’m your soulmate, but you’re not mine. Sorry but,” He glanced back over to the door Izuku left through. “I have to go.”
He pushed Eijiro's shocked hands off of his body and jogged hastily towards the door, the crowd of students parted to let him through, watching as he ran away with shocked expressions. The rest of the Bakusqaud hurried over to Eijiro, who was watching Katsuki leave with increasingly wet eyes, his hands out as he was frozen in shock.
Denki’s hand met his shoulder, caressing it soothingly. Eijiro stared at him with wide, glossy eyes. “D-Did, did he really just leave?” His voice cracked partway through his sentence, his hands falling to his side in fists.
Kaminiari nodded with soft eyes, leading him away from the staring batch of students. Mina and Hanta followed them, hands on his back as they lead him to the isolated kitchen.

“Deku!” His yell was gravelly as he ran, catching up with the sniffling bushy-haired boy right before the elevator doors closed. He forced them open, causing Izuku to wipe his eyes and stare with a lifted brow, unimpressed.
“Kacchan what are you doing? You should be with Eijiro right now,” Izuku sniffled softly, glaring with accusatory eyes. He didn’t understand.
“I think I should be right here,” Katsuki stepped into the elevator and waited until the doors closed before he began approaching Izuku, who was backing into the wall. “How could I leave you when you’re this upset?” He frowned frustratedly and Izuku’s eyes widened once he hit the wall. With his right hand placed above his shoulder and his left set on Izuku’s waist, Katsuki stared into his favorite person’s eyes with a thoughtful look.
“K-Kacchan?” Izuku pouted, “I’m not upset-” Katsuki leaned in closer, effectively cutting him off, with their noses barely touching. His blush was heavy and adorable, causing Katsuki to smirk as if he didn’t have his own growing blush.
“Deku, I’ve known you since we we were brats. Of course I know when something’s wrong.” His eyes were hooded as he stared down at the green head.
They continued to stare at each other, sudden and random breaks as Katsuki’s eyes darted to Izuku’s lips.
“Kacchan,” Now he sounded sad. He rested his hands on Katsuki’s chest lightly, ready to push him away. “Don’t do this.” All Katsuki could do in response was crinkle his eyebrows and frown in confusion.
“Do what, Deku?” Katsuki breathed quietly, leaning closer to the greenhead’s body. Izuku inhaled a quick, rough breath and looked up at Katsuki through his lashes.
“Don’t play with my feelings Kacchan.” His green eyes darted away. “You and Eijiro-kun are perfect for each other. Everybody thinks so.” His pout was evident as he spoke with increasingly wet eyes.
The elevator stopped and the doors opened to an empty hall.
Katsuki’s eyes widened. “Do you think that?” He asked quietly, gripping Izuku’s chin in his hand lightly. “Is that what you believe? That I should go out there and fuck shitty hair instead of standing here with you?” Why the fuck had he just said that?? Katsuki cursed mentally, he really needed to schedule some more time with his therapist to get over his emotional hurdles.
Izuku grimaced, not meeting his eyes anymore. Katsuki roughly tugged his chin to give him no option but to meet his eyes, though taking care to not hurt him. He looked apologetic but also questioning. Izuku could barely meet his eyes.
“Tell me, is that what you want Deku?” Katsuki asked lowly, staring into Izuku’s glossy eyes.
The green head stayed quiet, not sure what to say.
“Hah, yeah that’s what I thought.” Katsuki let go and traded his hold on Izuku’s chin for gripping his waist. He brought their bodies closer together tenderly and smirked as Izuku blushed profusely. “Now shut up and follow me.” Izuku felt that he was going to get whiplash with these mood swings.
Katsuki placed a hand on the small of the green head’s back, pushing him to follow Katsuki to his dorm room.
“You really should-” Izuku started but was abruptly cut off by Katsuki.
“Didn’t I say shut up?” He raised a brow and stared at Izuku until the other man dropped his head quietly. “Good boy.” Izuku’s eyes widened and his head whipped over to look at Katsuki, who was already smirking gleefully at the reaction.
“Jerk.” Izuku spat quietly while Katsuki unlocked his door. Katsuki just glanced at him with a hum.
“Come on dumbass, we have shit to workthrough.” Katsuki urged him, all but shoving him through the doorway. Izuku grunted when he was pushed onto the bed, staring up at Katsuki who was already staring back.
---
Somehow- Katsuki didn’t understand how- Izuku was crying, curled in Katsuki’s arms. They had been talking for an hour before Katsuki pulled Izuku into his lap, shushing him with soft, caring words. He soon quieted and just held him close, rubbing his back when Izuku began sniffling again.
“Why the fuck are you crying now dork?” Katsuki asked gruffly, trying to get a good look at Izuku’s face.
Izuku shoved his face further into Katsuki’s chest, shaking it as he sniffled. When Izuku continued refusing to speak, Katsuki decided it was best to just stay silent and comfort him.
“You’re a dumbass, you know that? Pshh, thinking I was ever going to choose that Shitty Haired bastard over you…” Katsuki shook his head and held Izuku closer to him. “I can’t believe he pulled that in front of you. I should go down there and kill him right now for that.” Katsuki scoffed as he worked himself up, relaxing when Izuku caressed his chest soothingly.
Izuku didn’t comment on anything Katsuki said since he was used to it. Katsuki had always made comments like that- ever since they were small kids. Soon enough he began to quiet down, sniffles coming to a halt. Katsuki continued to hold him.
“I’m sorry,” Izuku tried to push off, but Katsuki had a firm grasp, not letting him move. “Kacchan let me go.” He pushed again but Katsuki was not budging.
“No, you’re trapped. We have more shit to talk about. Real shit.” Katsuki spoke firmly, enforcing his words with a squeeze to Izuku’s midsection.
Izuku sighed and let his body slump on top of his best friend, deciding to make himself comfortable. He wiggled up Katsuki’s body, placing his face in Katsuki’s neck and wrapping his body around Katsuki’s own torso and thighs.
“Are you done?” Katsuki asked in a strained voice and Izuku grinned mischievously.
“Mmn,” He wiggled around some more just to tease the blond. “Yeah.” Izuku grinned into Katsuki's neck, hearing the blond let out a low grunt of frustration.
“Little brat,” He muttered. “Izuku,” His arms wrapped around Izuku's back, holding him firmly in place. “I love you.”
In shock, Izuku whipped his head up, hitting Katsuki’s chin in the process. “What did you- Oh god are you okay Kacchan!?” Izuku giggled apologetically when Katsuki groaned, rubbing his head. Taking his soft owh as confirmation, Izuku continues his freak out. “Kacchan!!” He yelped reprimandingly. “You can’t just say that!!”
Katsuki shrugged. “I don’t tend to keep the truth inside Deku, you of all people should understand this.” He smirked as Izuku flushed further.
Suddenly Izuku expression dulled, his tone somber. “Are you sure?” He asked hesitantly.
Katsuki eyed him momentarily. “Yeah.” It was short yet everything Izuku needed to hear.
He teared up once again and latched onto Katsuki tightly, stuffing his face back into Katsuki’s neck. “I luh-” He sobbed, “Love you too Kah-chan~!!!” Izuku hiccuped as he spoke, causing Katsuki to chuckle.
“Stupid nerd, you’re such a crybaby.” Yet he ran soothing hands down his back, pressing their bodies firmly together with a stupid, lovesick grin. Izuku slapped Katsuki’s arm playfully in retaliation, causing Katsuki to groan dramatically. “Is this how it’s going to be Deku? You beating me up? That’s not healthy, I may need to do something about it.” His tone turned huskier and Izuku squeaked, shuffling away before Katsuki could trap him once again.
“You’ll have to catch me!” Izuku dashed to the doorframe, throwing it open with a yelp as he watched Katsuki roll off his bed.
And so the chase began.
---
Eijiro looked up at the ceiling as they could hear the pairs screaming and giggling and chuckling. It was unsettling, seeing as he was deep in his feels at this very moment while the man he loves and his friend were upstairs doing whatever the fuck they were doing.
Denki lay a hand on his shoulder, squeezing it tightly. “It’ll be okay man,”
Mina piped up from her position against Eijiro’s legs, her head resting on his lap. “Yeah Kiri, honestly- I don’t know what you see in him. He’s always a jerk to you and doesn’t appreciate you like a lover should.” Eijiro flinched back at the reality of her words. “Don’t get me wrong, I love the guy, he’s our friend. But Kiri, what do you see in him?”
Tears began to well up in his eyes once again. They didn’t understand, they didn’t know Katsuki as he did. They weren’t there for their special, private moments. They just don’t get it.
So, he shrugged, “I don’t know, I guess.” Maybe it wasn’t manly to lie like this, but that’s the only response he could give. Hanta sighed from his left, clapping their hands together supportively.

Katsuki flipped in the air to blast both oncoming attackers, who both flinched back at the abrupt blast of heat. They whined as they fell to the ground and Katsuki grunted victoriously.
Eijiro watched from the bench as Katsuki beat Tsu and Sato effortlessly, they sparred less often. He rested a hand on his cheek and sighed sadly. Katsuki was announced as the winner and Eijiro cheered for him, he was the only one, besides Izuku of course.
Next against Katsuki was Izuku, randomly picked. Eijiro had to admit, as much as he hated Midoriya right now, that was one hell of a fight. Katsuki and Izuku worked extremely well together as if they were molded to fight against each other.
(Author writes Shonen manga fanfiction but can’t write fight scenes??? Pathetic.)
The fight took much longer than usual and eventually, Aizawa began assigning other people to practice sparring in different areas instead of watching Katsuki’s and Izuku’s fight.
In the end, Izuku had Katsuki pinned whereas only a fraction of a moment before, Katsuki had Izuku pinned. Izuku ended up winning and Katsuki glared frustratedly at Aizawa, who called it, before praising Izuku under his breath, despite how reluctant it had been.
They were so good for each other… But Eijiro and Katsuki were soulmates , at least, Eijiro was convinced they were. But Katsuki seemed to have other ideas. Especially as he slung a heavy arm around Izuku’s shoulders and tugged him close as they walked back to the locker room, Izuku beaming at the touch and Katsuki still grumbling half-heartedly about the defeat.
Eijiro was called to attention and he used his leftover rage and frustration to beat Ojiro, who took the defeat respectfully and quietly, as he did with everything.
---
Katsuki forced Izuku against the lockers, their bodies clashing as their lips met with a fierce intensity. “You were so hot out there.” He whispered heavily when he broke the kiss, barely letting Izuku breathe before they were back at it.
Izuku gasped and pushed Katsuki away, aching for new air in his lungs. “You’re so hot Kacchan, but Jesus, let me breathe!” Katsuki chuckled and smirked, gripping his hips possessively.
“You can have my air, baby.” He whispered against Izuku’s lips. “You can have anything you want from me.” His seductive grin was met with wide eyes and a furious blush.
“Kacchan,” Izuku sounded, his body going slack in the blond’s arms. The blond nuzzled his neck, nipping at the skin ever so slightly, only enough to release soft sounds from his adorable lover.
“Shh, don’t talk. Save your pretty voice for later…” Katsuki kissed him softly as he held eye contact, causing Izuku to fluster immensely.
“You’re so flirty when you get like this…” Izuku whispered, cheeks ablaze as Katsuki smirked.
“Lets take this elsewhere.” Izuku yelped when Katsuki picked him up without warning before stomping back to the dorms, ignoring the fact that they had a class to get to.
