Hello, I have been with this idea for some time, but until now I had time to start on it. This is the first Fanfiction I've ever done, so I hope you like it.

This fic is a translation of my fic "El efecto Paradox", I upload both versions, in English and Spanish at the same time, and my English is not very good, so if there is any mistake I would like you to tell me.

As a small disclaimer, the characters will be watching the subtitled version of the anime. However, I plan to change some things that have been ignored from the manga or ignore certain changes that have been made in the anime (Cough cough Season 5 cough cough).

I recommend that you keep up with the manga so you don't get any spoilers. Not being more, I hope you like it.

Chapter Text

This day could have ended much better. Izuku Midoriya thought as he prepared to sleep. In the darkness of his room and with the penetrating gaze of several figures and posters of his idol All Might, the young One For All bearer recalled the events of the day. Meeting with all of his classmates to buy what he needed for the summer camp had brightened his day, while he was thinking that he needed to buy, he was left alone with Uraraka, who ran off for no reason. Confused by this, Deku was tricked and captured by Tomura Shigaraki, who after a strange conversation fled the mall.

If Uraraka hadn't come back at that time, I don't know what would have happened. The worst part was that I made mom worry again and I couldn't figure out what AFO's plan is either. The saddened young hero thought. Well, I just have to hope that tomorrow is bet-.

At that moment, a kind of portal appeared on one of the walls of his room, he quickly got out of bed with some fear at the thought that the league had found out where he lived. Until he noticed that it was light blue, being alert he saw that 2 "people" appeared from it. One of them was some kind of scientist or pharmacist, he was wearing a white lab coat, black tie, black pants and black boots. In addition, he wears safety glasses around his neck and in his right hand he has a pocket watch. Next to him was a small, familiar figure. It's a dog? No, is it a bear? No, it's too small. Is a mouse? No, wait...

“It seems it took you a long time to realize who I am, young Midoriya. It's me, Principal Nezu, myself,” the chimera professor said cheerfully, as the portal behind them closed.

“P-Principal Nezu, what are you doing here? And who is he?"

"I've come here with Professor Paradox and we both want to invite you to come with us."

"Izuku Midoriya, it's good to finally meet you, as the principal already mentioned, I'm Professor Paradox," he said as he shook hands with the green-haired man. “First of all, I want to tell you that you can refuse to go with us. If you accept, once you know what I am going to propose you are free to leave, you will return here in the shortest possible time. But I recommend that you accept it, it will be an experience that can be very helpful in your career as a hero.”

"Where will we go? Will we be gone for a long time? I don't want to keep worrying mom. Is it related to Shigaraki's attack today? Why does the director trust him so much? Is it related to the One For-”

“Ahh, this is the famous muttering of the young Midoriya. Don't worry, when we meet with the others everything will be cleared up. Of course, if you agree to come."

"Th-the others?"

"Yes, your classmates from 1-A, some professors from UA, and some more who are waiting for us."

The boy had many doubts about it, but seeing that the director trusted him, he decided to go with them. After all he could go and come back without worrying his mother.

Good, I knew Midoriya would agree. It was easier than some of them. Nezu thought as he recalled his conversation with a certain troublesome hero and two would-be heroes.

A portal reappeared in the same place as the earlier one and the three proceeded to cross it. On the other side was a kind of theater or movie theater, with long rows of chairs, each with its own cup holder, and in front of them was a large stage with lights, microphones, and a movie screen. At the end of the place there was a door and in front of it there was a large crowd surrounding two people who were trying to open it without much success.

As he got closer, he saw that they were all wearing comfortable clothes or pajamas, and as Paradox said, there were his 1-A classmates, along with Eraser Head, Present Mic, Midnight, Gran Torino, All Might in his skeletal form, Detective Tsukauchi, Hawks and… Endeavor?!

"It's useless Professor, the door won't open, not even the combined strength of Shoji and mine managed to open it." Sugarman spoke. "Maybe you'll achieve something, Midoriya."

“Sorry to lock you in, but the exterior isn't finished yet. I know you'd like to go exploring, but let's save that for later." Paradox answered.

“So, you're the last one, problem child, well, I guess we can finally start. Am I wrong Paradox? I would like to go back to my night patrol soon.” Growled Aizawa who was the only one in his hero outfit.

"Of course, take a seat and I'll explain why I have gathered you all here."

“Deku! Here." A young brown-haired girl yelled.

"Hello Uraraka and good night, Iida" The green-haired boy answered, as he approached his friends.

"Hi Midoriya, I'm glad to see you're okay. Go find a seat and save one for me. I will join you once all the members of 1-A have sat down." Saying that, the representative sped off not realizing that he almost took Asui and Shoto with him.

"Looks like Iida was in a hurry, kero."

"Yes, but that shouldn't surprise us." The bicolor boy said calmly. "Uraraka, Midoriya, we should move forward before Iida returns."

"You're right Todoroki. Guys, does anyone know why we were brought together?" Uraraka wondered.

"No idea. Paradox and the director appeared out of nowhere at my house. They only said that this would be a good opportunity to learn, kero” Asui replied.

“Yes, something similar was said to me too. I just didn't expect him to bring my father,” Shoto added in a low voice.

Little by little they settled into the different rows amidst whispers, murmurs, and greetings. The group of Tsuyu, Uraraka, Midoriya, Iida and Todoroki being in the first row, behind them, were Momo, Jiro, Mina, Toru and Aoyama. They were followed by Sato, Koda, Tokoyami, Shoji, and Ojiro. In the fourth row were Sero, Kirishima, Bakugo, Kaminari, and Mineta. And finally, in the longest line were Hawks, Endeavor, Tsukauchi, Gran Torino, All Might, Nezu, Mic, Aizawa, and Midnight.

Paradox took the stage and greeted his small audience. "Good evening, everyone, as you know I am Professor Paradox and I have brought you all together to give you an opportunity to learn about your past, present and future, and, if you wish, to change what is to come."

Doubts began to invade everyone present, and a certain class representative was ahead of everyone else. “Sir, with all due respect, how do you plan to do that? We know that his Quirk allows him to create portals. And although I didn't like to say it, you didn't give us reason to trust you completely.”

"A very reasonable fear, young Tenya." The time traveler replied calmly. “And I'm afraid that answering your question will make you even more suspicious. Anyway, to begin with my power is not only limited to opening portals in space, but I can also travel in time and even between universes. In fact, we are in a "space between universes" that, as I said before, still lacks some details, so no, young Tenya, my power is not a Quirk."

Murmurs and gestures of astonishment and disbelief were seen in the audience as the professor explained. "I know how difficult it is to understand this, but for now assume that this is true." The scientist continued. “Well, thanks to this power I have found a universe where partial information from other worlds arrives in the form of stories such as television series, movies, books, among many others. That is why I have some information about everyone present.”

""So, expect us to see this 'series' of our lives and expect us to believe it's true." The flame hero said skeptically. "I suppose you have proof that whatever we're seeing is real, don't you?"

“Of course, seeing is believing, it is not like that. Although I don't have anything tangible, the director of the UA has already seen a small preview of what you will see, if everyone present accepts.” He responded very confidently.

"It's true, what the 'episode' I saw revealed was very specific and it's information that only UA professors and Detective Tsukauchi know." The director answered.

"Ohhh and speaking of him, if I'm not mistaken his Quirk lets him know if someone is lying."

“He obviously knows a lot about us. Yes, since your exposure began, I have been using my Lie Detector and at no time has it lied.”

Astonished murmurs were heard from every seat, but none loud enough to ask why someone so powerful would give them such an opportunity.

“HEYYYYYY!!!” Mic shouted "Please listeners, let Paradox finish to make a decision."

“Thank you, young Yamada. Well, it only remains for me to say that we would see more than 100 episodes and some movies, so you would be in this alternate world for a long time. But you don't have to worry, when you leave you will return just at the moment you arrived.”

Midoriya and much of the audience breathed a sigh of relief as his family and friends would not worry about his absence. However, not everyone was satisfied with what they had heard so far.

“So, Mr. Paradox, what would you gain by helping us? Why do it now? Why not a few months before the AU invasion happened or before the incident with Stain, the hero killer? And why only us? If the future is going to be as difficult as I imagine, we would need many more heroes than we are present.” Said the winged hero.

Yes, if he had appeared earlier, my brother would not be... No, he wants to help us. There must be a reason why he chose this specific date. The young man with glasses thought, trying to calm down and not make a mistake similar to the one he made in the Hosu incident. Still...

“Excellent question, you see, in my home world I used to support a certain group of 'heroes' when there were serious problems in the universe. Once I found out about this world and the future that awaits it, I wanted to do something similar without directly intervening. That is why I have prepared this place and this series about your world. As for why on this date, I won't tell you specifically, but it has to do with the ties that have been forged so far, both yours and those of the other side. As you progress through the story, you may understand what I mean."

"Which brings me to the last question." He said with a more serious tone. "You see, everyone present is very important in the events to come, so if you decide to accept, you will understand that you will see things that you regret, things that you are not proud of, things that others can judge you for, among others. But this will also allow you to save countless lives and even improve yours. Not being more, I will leave you alone for a while and when you decide just to call me." And while he said this last sentence the man in the lab coat left the place through one of his portals, leaving the entire audience immersed in his own thoughts.

So much so, that none of those present saw how a young green-haired man, a blond skeleton and a veteran hero slipped away to talk alone, getting as far away from the seats in the auditorium as possible.

"Well, Toshinori, it seems that if we accept, everyone will know the truth of One For All." Seeing the astonished faces of his two pupils, the eldest of the three grunted. "Do you doubt it? It's clear that All For One has a plan after all and if what that man in the lab coat says is true, things may have gone very wrong for everyone."

"You're right, master.” Yagi said somewhat resigned. "Fortunately, everyone present is a hero or at least will be and Tsukauchi is already aware of it, however, the decision must be made by young Midoriya, after all it is his Quirk now."

The mind of the current OFA holder did not know what to think, all his life he had been treated horribly for not having a Quirk, and when it seemed that he could finally have a normal life, this happened. He knew his friends weren't anything like his former Aldera classmates, but the fear was still there. However, his desire to help as many people as he could allowed him to overcome that fear, after all, he had a great responsibility as the successor to the symbol of peace.

"I-I think we can trust all of them, what happened in the USJ brought us all together as a class and I-I'm sure the pro heroes will understand the importance of secrecy." He said with the most confident tone he could find. I just hope our friendship doesn't change after this.

“Are you sure young Midoriya? It's your decision, but I hope you're not blaming yourself for what happened today with Shigaraki and that's influencing your decision.” The peace symbol said worriedly.

"H-huh?"

“Ehh, did something happen with Shigaraki today? Why am I only now learning about this, Toshinori?” And while the old hero found out what happened today, the remaining pro-heroes were discussing what decision to make.

“Director Nezu, Paradox showed you the meeting we had after the USJ incident. I'm wrong?"

“Insightful as always Aizawa, yes, and a small part of the immediate future. I don't have all the details, but I know it's something that will happen in the summer vacation, but I suspect that won't be all.” The director said thoughtfully.

"I understand why the pro-heroes are here, but why does our fellow wanderer's entire class have to be here?" Midnight said, as he quizzically looks at his coworker. Earning Aizawa's annoyed look.

“Good question, Shoto is quite capable of dealing with all kinds of problems and will be the future number one hero later. However, I know he is not ready for something of that magnitude." The hero of flames said aggressively.

“Yes, it would be better if a large group of current heroes were here to solve this problem. Not waiting 3 years for them to be professionals.” The feathered hero answered.

"I just wonder, why didn't he wait until the next day to get us all together?" Said an angry Yamada of not having his usual hairstyle.

"That part is my fault." The chimera responded quickly. “As soon as I understood the magnitude of the situation, I asked Paradox to act immediately.”

"And as for your question, Midnight." The detective replied, joining the conversation. “It may be that they are here because, in every activity of the league of villains, they have been present. The USJ, Hosu, and the Mall Incident."

"Are you implying that the league is related to what will happen?" Aizawa asked.

“The league has proven to be problematic. However, the fact that there is someone in the shadows supporting them is worrying. Not to mention the nomus, one of them was in the USJ, three in Hosu, and fortunately, none today." The detective summed up.

“What was that last incident?” Endeavor asked. After all, only the heroes of the area and some UA teachers knew what had happened today.

“It happened today, but I can summarize the basics for you.” Yagi answered as he sat down again.

"Thank you, sir..." Hawks said, although for some reason he had the impression that he already knew that blond skeleton.

“Oh yes of course, Toshinori Yagi, assistant teacher, I support All Might with his classes. As for what happened…”

On the other hand, all the students were still deep in thought. They all had memories they didn't want others to see, they were teenagers after all. They all had secrets, and some of them were too important to divulge easily. None of them wanted to invade the privacy of the others, but the curiosity to know about the future that awaited them was something very tempting.

"Guys!" Yelled a certain redhead. “I know we all have things we don't want others to know. But if we accept, we can be better heroes."

"Kirishima is right." Said the electric boy supporting him. "And it's not like anyone has anything really important to hide."

I do have a lot to hide. Thought a certain fire and ice user. But before he could object, a certain blonde jumped on his words.

"How are you sure of that mon ami?"

“¿E-ehhh?”

"Yes Yamming-Wey, we don't know anything about the others before UA." Kyoka said as he hit the electric idiot with his headphones. “Only Mina and Kirishima knew each other before.”

"And let's not forget about Midoriya and Bakugo." Sero add. "But I get the point, don't assume your secrets are the same type as everyone else's."

"Yes, there are things that are better left in the dark." Tokoyami said in support.

"I understand what everyone is saying." Momo interceded. "However, the important thing is not the secrets, but the fact that everyone is willing to share them and the consequences that may come with them."

At the wealthy girl's words, everyone was once again lost in thought without noticing that a certain missing member had already returned to its seat.

"I think we should accept." The green-haired man said, surprising everyone. “I know it is asking a lot of everyone, but thanks to this we will be able to save many lives and we will be able to prepare for whatever comes. Everyone here has a reason to be heroes and we want to do our best and I doubt that an opportunity like this we can pass up."

"I support you, Deku." Said the girl to the left of him. “I have some things I don't want everyone to know.” Childhood memories of her promising her parents to give them a better life came quickly to her mind. “But I don't want that to stop me from helping as many as I can.”

“Bravo, Uraraka, Bravo.” The delegate happily celebrated. "I agree with both of you."

“Count me in, guys. What do you think Bakubro?" Kirishima asked his blond friend, who had been silent for too long.

"Ahhh! I have nothing to say, just make up your mind once and for all!" He yelled quickly. However, his mind was not on the conversation. Of course, he wanted to see the damned series, after all, the pompous Paradox had promised her that when he came, he would discover the truth that he so longed for. I'll finally know what you're hiding, damn nerd.

“Prepare for whatever comes? Midoriya, why are you saying that like something bad is going to happen?!” The smallest of the class said in an alarmed way.

"I don't think Paradox would bring us together if things turned out well in the future or if they didn't cost many people's lives in the process." Shoji answered. "For that reason, I agree with you guys."

Faced with this argument, the others had little to object to. Therefore, they all quickly decided to accept and hope that they were making the right decision.

"I see that you already decided" Aizawa growled seeing that it had taken them a long time. “I'm glad to see that you made the most logical decision just like us older ones. Alright Paradox, we're ready."

Again, a portal appeared, and the scientist returned to the exact same place where he was before.

"Very well I see that you have reached a consensus." He said cheerfully. “Here is a final warning. As you know, each person is the protagonist of his life. But the stories need to focus on one that is largely related to what will happen." He exclaimed as he stared at the ninth OFA wielder.

I'M DOOMED!!!! Mentally shouted the young Midoriya.

"I'm saying this so you know why some will get more screen time than others." He told them while he looked at his pocket watch. “Due to the time, you were brought here you must be exhausted. But, in order not to leave you with uncertainty, I will let you see two chapters today, then I will guide you to your rooms. And don't worry, I've arranged for the video to pause when you're discussing what you see, so you won't miss any details."

Pulling a remote control out of his pocket, a projector at the back of the auditorium turned on and before pressing the start button, Paradox exclaimed. "I hope you enjoy 'My Hero Academia.'"

Notes:

What did you think? I think I took a bit of a gamble by using Paradox from the Ben 10 series as a host instead of an OC, but I wasn't really sold on that idea. Don't worry, Paradox won't interfere in the decisions they make in the story, it already interferes enough with showing them the series.

Anyway, if there is any spelling, I ask you to let me know and I will correct it as soon as I can.

Chapter Text

The episode began on what seemed to be a typical summer day, where little Izuku trembling in fear was protecting another boy from Bakugo and his two minions. The three of them made fun of the little green-haired boy for defending someone despite not having any power.

Being so young and already showing a very heroic heart. I am more and more sure that I made the right decision. The symbol of peace thought happily.

"Deku, it looks like you'll be the lead." Uravity exclaimed happily to a blushing Deku.

"It's a bit premature to say that, kero." The girl next to her replied. "But I wouldn't mind if he is."

Many agreed with this fact except…

"Damn extras, I'm there too!" An irritated Katsuki replied. "What makes you think the Nerd should be the lead before me?"

"Oh, I don't know dude, maybe the fact that Midoriya is the one who acts like a hero here." Jiro said as he pointed to the screen and the rest of the girls nodded. But before the discussion drags on...

"You are all being very unreasonable." A tired Aizawa growled as they looked at them with his Quirk activated to emphasize her point. "It doesn't matter who the protagonist is, as long as the information we get is useful." Of all those present it had to be you, problem child.

"Hey Hawks." Shoto said changing the subject. "Is the boy with the wings related to you?"

Half the audience looked at Todoroki as if he had grown a second head, while others giggled, including Hawks who replied: “First, no, it's not. And second, that's like assuming any fire user is Endeavor's child."

More laughter could be heard from the audience as an offended Enji glared at the feathered hero who had a smirk.

The 3 bullies pounced on the poor boy resulting in a poor Midoriya beaten to the ground. And in the background a bigger Midoriya could be heard talking about the sad reality that we are not all the same. But that didn't stop him from moving on.

"A hard lesson for someone so young." Hizashi said to his classmates.

"It is, but it's still realistic." Aizawa replied.

"Bakugo, such behavior is not suitable for an aspiring hero." Scolded Iida.

"Calm down Iida at that age we all did nonsense." Sero weakly defended, holding Bakugo from getting up from his chair.

"Maybe?" Momo questioned. "But I don't understand why they say Midoriya doesn't have a Quirk."

"It must be because it hadn't manifested yet." Sato reasoned. "His Quirk is very destructive, especially with his body, perhaps it required him to be bigger and stronger to bear the load."

"Or maybe he hadn't developed one yet." Ojiro added.

For most of the pro-heroes present, it seemed somewhat worrying, although young children usually have fights, these are not so violent. Especially when the explosion Quirk is involved.

The scene changed to show a 14-year-old Izuku running through the streets, until he reached a large crowd watching a giant person causing chaos. Amazed Midoriya can only say: "A giant villain." The scene changes to start the opening of the series.

Kaminari, Sero, and Kirishima kept looking at a certain explosive blond whose patience had reached his limit.

“Stop looking at me like that you idiots!” Bakugo growls. "I know you were right, the nerd being the narrator makes it very obvious."

"All Might appears in the opening." Said the pupil of the symbol of peace.

"And you too, Midoriya" Iida added.

“Is it me or does it seem like-”

“Midoriya would like to catch up All Might? Yes, I think so." Endeavor interrupted the winged hero. In a way he reminds me a bit of me. What makes this boy so special that this is the beginning of the story? … Right, he was one of those who defeated Stain, and then he saved him from the Nomu…

"It's us!" All the students yelled as they came out in their hero costumes.

"Why does Midoriya look so sad?" Mineta asked.

"Thirteen notebooks show what your hobby is Midoriya." Tokoyami added.

"Yes" Tsuyu said "And why does his relationship with Bakugo seem to get worse over ti..." But she couldn't finish her sentence before seeing a horrible image that she hadn't seen since the USJ.

"SHIGARAKI!" Izuku exclaimed with some fear as he put his hands behind his neck, remembering his recent encounter with the villain.

"Deku!" The girl exclaimed approaching her friend to reassure him. "Don't worry, he's not here, he can't hurt you."

The young man, feeling the worried gaze of those around him, especially that of his best friend, began to breathe slowly to calm down little by little.

"What's wrong with Midoriya?" The young man with two-colored hair asked worriedly.

"It's true, Bakugo and you weren't present at the mall, I'll explain it to you once the episode ends." Denki replied.

Whatever happened, it must have something to do with the league. Deku, did the psychopath with the hands get away from under your nose?

“It seems that we will see what happened in the USJ again. Will you be okay with all this Shota?” Midnight asked worriedly as she remembered the state in which she found him that day.

"There is nothing to worry about." He replied while shaking his head. "I appreciate that I get to see what happened that day again." Especially what happened after the nomu knocked me out.

"Paradox, would it be possible for you to give us some notebooks?" The detective asked. “There is a lot of information that I would like to write down for later analysis.”

"I see that none of you have checked under your seats." Paradox replied calmly, who had sat next to Midnight. "I apologize anyway, I should have said it sooner." And indeed, a notebook, similar to those seen in the opening, was under his seats along with a pen.

Curious, the nerd and All Might attack at the same time as if they were one. The blond boy thought, as did many of the pro heroes present.

The opening had come to an end. And Midoriya narrated how Quirks arose all over the world, and with the passage of time, the profession of heroes.

"I thought everyone knew how the Quirks came to be?" Kaminari asked confused.

Koda made a couple of signs with his hands that only Tokoyami could see clearly.

“It's true Koda, Paradox said that this series was watched by people from another universe. They would need to know some basic things about our world to understand the story."

"It must be strange to live in a world without Quirks." Toru mused as she imagined herself in a world where she could see herself in a mirror.

"I agree, although perhaps it would be a somewhat boring world." Ojiro replied

While many shared that thought, others couldn't help but think of a world where you're not judged by how your Quirk looks, whether your Quirk looks like a hero or a villain, or not having one.

The villain was causing damage to the subway line and the heroes, Death Arms and Backdraft, were doing damage control, while people complained about what was happening. Until Kamui Woods appeared to directly confront the threat. In that, the young green-haired man managed to get in front of the crowd to see the fight.

As always, the humans only see the Quirks, not the people. The director thought bitterly.

"Backdraft shouldn't have to be creating barriers to keep the curious away." Enji growled.

"Yeah, the cops should take care of that, not just watch the fight." Tsukauchi added.

The man with stars on his head teased Deku about his admiration for heroes. As Kamui dodged the monstrous villain's attacks, while listing the villain's multiple crimes.

Some chuckled at Midoriya's reaction to being called a fanboy.

"I think Kamui exaggerates a bit." Mic mumbled. All the heroes nodded.

Kamui prepared his special attack to capture the villain, while Midoriya imitated him. But, a certain gigantic woman stepped forward, knocking the villain unconscious and astonishing everyone present. Mt Lady made her debut at that moment, while a large group of people immortalized the moment on their cell phones and cameras.

“Midoriya! Why didn't you tell me that you witnessed the debut of Mt. Lady?” The little pervert said as he got up from his seat. "Tell me you have a photo of that day."

"Calm down, Mineta." Shoji said as he used his multiple arms to capture the pervert who refused to return to his seat.

"Yeah dude, as far as I remember you were traumatized when you were his intern." Kaminari said trying to calm him down.

While the boys tried to calm Mineta down and the girls took note of what not to do in their debut as heroines, a certain teacher growled with rage. Which did not go unnoticed by her co-workers.

"Is there something you want to say, Nemuri?" Aizawa asked hiding his smile with his capture weapon.

"You are the least likely to criticize her or should I remind you of your birthday suit." Mic added with a smirk.

“First, you know it's not the same, my Quirk requires showing my skin on display. Secondly, I can't stand Takeyama." She responded with some suppressed anger.

Does it have to do with that interview where they both ended up fighting? All Might wondered, afraid to say it out loud.

While Kamui was complaining about getting all the credit stolen from him. The narrator Midoriya explained the work of the heroes, their dependence on popularity and salary.

Mt. Lady's strange grimace was enough to rekindle Minoru's traumas, who simply stopped struggling, apologized to Midoriya, and returned to his seat. Leaving all his classmates dumbstruck and speechless.

The boy started muttering everything he understood about 'Gigantification' at a great speed while writing everything down in his notebook. The man from before noticed it and gave him his support to be a great hero, greatly cheering the green-haired boy. The scene changed giving way to the episode title:

Izuku Midoriya: Origin

How fast, and from what I understand it's the first time Midoriya has seen Mt. Lady in action. His analytical ability is very good for someone his age. Nezu thought. "Midoriya, when we get back, I'd like to see that notebook and the ones before it if you still have them."

"Yes, sir."

With some training he might be faster and might not even need the notebook at all. The feathered hero thought. It is something that the HSPC could be interested in, this could be interesting.

Great, now the rat is interested in him. This night couldn't get any better. Aizawa thought sarcastically. Although, I should take a look at those notebooks. After all, Midoriya is one of the few to recognize me for my Quirk.

An analytical mind that learns very quickly. Toshinori, it seems you made a good choice in your successor. Gran Torino thought.

His colleagues praised him for his analytical skills, and some asked him for advice to improve the poor young man who did not know how to react.

“Hey extras, can you do this later? It's bad enough having to watch a Deku story for you guys to drag it out unnecessarily." Growled an annoyed Bakugo.

“K-kacchan…”

"Calm down man." Sero replied.

"Jealous because you're not the center of attention?" Mina scoffed.

“WHAT?!!” The boy growled as small explosions appeared in his palms.

"Enough, although I don't agree with the way he said it, Bakugo is right, it's already quite late and there's no reason to drag this situation out any longer." The class representative interfered. “On the other hand, it looks like this is your origin story as a hero, Midoriya. I'm looking forward to seeing it."

The boy didn't answer anything, because he suddenly remembered that this was the worst, and at the same time, the best day of his life. Great, now they will not only know the truth about my Quirk, but they will also see my life in Alder… Kacchan!! They'll see what he said that day. That's not good…

Deku looks better when he smil... The brunette's mind was interrupted when she remembered Aoyama's words for the second time that day and she began to blush little by little. N-NO, I wasn't thinking of it that way. She mentally scolded herself.

The scene changed to an average school, with a typical third year class. Until the teacher talked about the future of his students as possible heroes, while everyone showed their powers. Well, not all. A certain young man looked as if he wanted to be anywhere except in class.

While Iida was enraged from seeing so many students breaking the student rules. Others wondered...

"Why isn't Midoriya showing off his power?" Asked Hawks.

“W-well, young Midoriya's Quirk before entering UA did damage to his body when he used it. I guess, he didn't want to risk it." Yagi responded quickly.

That doesn't explain why he didn't train his Quirk before UA so it wouldn't happen so often. Aizawa thought.

Suddenly, a certain explosive boy began to insult his classmates, unleashing their anger. Because Bakugo was going to take the UA entrance exam, he decided to show off his perfect entrance plan, being the only one from his school and managing to be the one to surpass All Might.

As if that was so simple kid. Endeavor thought.

"But Bakugo, Midoriya is here, so I guess your ego made you talk too much." Sero scoffed, increasing the blonde's anger.

"Shut up tape with legs, how was I supposed to know that Deku had..."

"Guys, stop teasing Kacchan, let's get on with the story." Deku interceded before things went any further.

The teacher mentioned that Midoriya had also signed up. Which generated the momentary astonishment and the subsequent mockery of his companions. Suddenly, an explosion on Midoriya's desk sent him flying backwards. The green-haired youth looked up to see his childhood friend yelling at him for not having a gift and for believing that he would have a chance. However, the frightened young man did not want to give in to his dreams despite how terrifying the others looked, or the insults thrown at him.

His companions went from shock to anger in no time at seeing the poor treatment his companion received.

"Bakugo, you are an idiot. What gives you the right to treat Deku that way?!" Uraraka annoyed scream.

"I agree Uraraka, not to mention the damage to school property." Iida quickly joined.

""Shut up, you fucking extras!" The blond defended himself. "You guys don't know anything about the relationship between Deku and me."

Of course, such an answer only made the situation worse. So much so that the visibly upset teachers had to interfere.

“HEEEYYY!!” Mic yelled, getting everyone's attention.

"Bakugo, clearly we can't punish your actions prior to UA." Eraser said, increasing the annoyance of the others. “However, I will make it clear that, at UA, this behavior will not be tolerated.” He added with a red glow in his eyes due to the activation of his Quirk. "I hope that's clear."

“Yes.”

"Tsukauchi, I think a little investigation to Aldera may be necessary." The director said calmly.

"I agree, an incident like this happening in front of a teacher and the teacher not doing anything about it, is something that cannot be allowed." Tsukauchi replied. Perhaps it is an exaggeration on my part, but it is best to see if the director or any member of the council is a former member of the old MLA.

With somewhat calmer spirits, a certain rich girl had another question that she wanted to solve.

“Midoriya, you may not be in the mood to answer. But why did everyone say you didn't have a Quirk? Didn't they know that your Quirk is Superpower?"

The young man was not paying attention, he was too touched by the support shown by the others and at the same time worried about what was to come.

"I guess we'll have our answer later." Aoyama said without his usual glamor. "But, even if Midoriya didn't really have a Quirk, it's no excuse for them to treat him that way."

Hearing that, made Midoriya almost break down. But he had to be strong. Holding back tears, he looked at the back row saying, “Aoyama… Thank you.”

"Oh yeah," Paradox said, changing the subject. “Some things seen that seem strange, like the mob looking at the young Midoriya, are just exaggerations of how he feels about certain things or may be some kind of censorship. It depends on the point of view of who looks at what things in history.”

Moving on to another part of the city. At 12:02 PM a cry for help was heard and a gigantic viscous mass fled from the place. Nearby, a skeletal figure was coming out of shopping when he saw the mud monster go by. Said figure inflated until it was a muscular being that astonished the crowd and disturbed the escapist when he heard in the distance: "BECAUSE I AM HERE".

Seeing the slime villain, Midoriya and Bakugo instinctively covered their mouths. And it was at that moment that Katsuki remembered what day it was. He was enraged realizing that everyone would see him weak and useless in the face of that slime. However, he felt that he was forgetting something. Something important that happened that same day.

So that was the day. Kirishima thought. The day that boy risked himself to try to save Bakugo from the sludge villain.

As soon as they saw that some weakling had transformed into All Might, the chaos in the auditorium was unleashed. Yagi remained completely still without saying a word so as not to attract the attention of the others, while he endured the annoyed look of his master for transforming near so many people.

The teachers knew that it would be useless to calm them down easily. After all, when they saw All Might's true form, they had a hard time accepting it. Yagi is very lucky no one has noticed yet, the shadows helped a bit. Nemuri thought. As the story goes, it won't take long for his identity to be revealed.

"How much chaos and that we are still in the first episode." Hawks said to himself.

For his part, Enji felt that the world had been turned upside down, so many years trying to reach All Might and it turns out that he had such an obvious weakness. He needed to know the truth of this! Seems like Paradox wasn't lying when he said that if I came, I might know what's stopping me from reaching All Might.

Mic had to yell again for the minors to calm down, promising that the show would show the answer to All Might's strange situation.

Returning to Aldera, the young man without Quirk, watched the news of the morning's incident and packed his things to go home. Until a wild Bakugo and his two lackeys got in his way while taunting his analysis book. Which was singed and then thrown out the window.

Before any of them could say anything, Paradox preempted whatever the others were planning to say.

“Well, I must give you a little warning that something to come will be cruel and unnecessary. But you must understand that both involved are not the same as back then.” He said seriously. “However, that does not exempt the possible consequences that one of them must face. Not being more, I ask that you not interrupt until the image is paused.

What could young Bakugo have said to give us such a warning? All Might thought in alarm as did everyone else in the auditorium.

The explosive boy didn't remember what he had said to Deku that day, honestly, he didn't remember almost anything from that day before his encounter with the sludge villain. But of one thing he was sure, it would not be a good thing.

The boy kept talking about his perfect future story as a better hero than All Might. To then threaten a terrified Deku as he burned his shoulder. As they walked away, Bakugo decided to give some great advice: "If you want to be a hero so badly there is a quick way to do it, you just have to pray for a Quirk in your next life as you throw yourself off the roof." Faced with the wrath of the green-haired weakling, the blond once again threatened him with his Quirk, leaving him scared to death again.

The deathly silence that followed lasted long enough for Bakugo to just mutter, “Oh, so I said that…”, before chaos once again reigned throughout the auditorium. In the front row, Izuku wasn't able to hold back his tears much longer. Seeing him, his row mates came to hug and reassure his friend, the one who had saved them at least once and who over time became his inspiration to be better heroes.

The rest of the class was screaming and protesting about Bakugo's attitude and whether he really deserved to be part of the hero course. Kirishima looked at his friend and didn't know what to think, it was obvious that he wasn't the same boy as he was before. He admired how determined and strong he was, even though he is very hot-tempered. But, even if he wanted to defend his friend, he was not able to do it, the disappointment he felt at that moment did not allow it.

Aoyama remembered the time when he was also different and seeing what his life could have been like if his parents hadn't contacted AFO made his stomach twist, especially when he remembered his last order.

In the row of adults, Yagi got up from his seat to go see his pupil, followed by Gran Torino. He had too much to say to that boy. When he arrived, he saw him a little calmer thanks to the affection expressed by his friends who had already stopped hugging him. Crouching down in front of his successor and taking his hand, he exclaimed:

“Young Midoriya, I must apologize to you. I went through similar things before at your age, I should have noticed that things weren't good in Aldera. I trained you for 10 months and I never noticed anything.” Clenching his fist from the anger he felt with himself. “I promise to be a better mentor and finish training you properly.” He sobbed the scrawny blond as he flung himself into his arms.

For his part, Izuku cried again, but this time out of happiness for the support of his friends, classmates, and mentor. He saw his friends smile kindly at him as a sign of support and if any of them thought it strange that a certain unknown blonde had approached them they didn't seem to care. He wanted to say so many things to his childhood hero, that nothing was his fault, that meeting him had been the best thing that happened in his life. For the moment he concentrated on returning the hug with all his strength as he said:

“Thanks, All Mig…”

"Cough!" Torino faked a loud cough to divert the attention of those nearby. “Boy, I've only known you for a very short time, but I've seen what you're capable of. Don't let the past torment you, especially when you haven't done something wrong."

The young man through tears looked at his other teacher and thanked him, while he was still embraced by All Might.

On the other hand, the rest of the adults were arguing about what they had seen and how to proceed now.

"The investigation into Aldera should begin as soon as possible, Tsukauchi" The director asked with a certain grimace. The detective nodded as he quickly wrote a mini-report in his notebook.

"Great, not only have I misunderstood the relationship between two of my best students, but I've also paired a victim with his former bully in a match against the number one hero." Shota said bitterly.

"Don't be so hard on yourself Sho, we all saw the records, there was no reason to suspect something like that." Exclaimed Mic.

"Yes, Bakugo is generally aggressive with everyone, personally I thought he was more aggressive with Midoriya because of some old rivalry from his old school." Nemuri added. "But the important thing now is what we will do with this new information."

"That's how it is. Clearly there will be consequences for the young Bakugo, which will depend on the results of Tsukauchi's investigation and also on the version given by both parties, especially Midoriya's. But one thing is for sure, both of them will have to see Inui when we get back." Nezu added. "Eraser, you know young Bakugo better than the rest, what do you think of him?"

“The boy has a very useful Quirk for combat, and his ambition to achieve the best results is clear. However, he does have a certain anger problem that can get him into trouble when dealing with civilians, with the press, and as seen in the recent exam, in teamwork. Honestly, I wouldn't want to have to expel him or send him to the general department, the boy has potential and as Paradox mentioned, the boy is not the same as he was back then." Eraser answered.

"Sho, I can help the boy improve his dealings with civilians, I have more experience in that area than you." Mic exclaimed with a thumbs up. "That boy has a lot of potential, I wouldn't want him to become another Ende..."

Mic couldn't finish his sentence due to Nemuri's multiple gestures that reminded him that it wasn't just the teachers who were present. Fortunately, the hero of fire did not pay attention to his conversation, he knew that he was the least suitable to talk about the subject, there were many things that he was not proud of in his past and he hoped that it would not come back to haunt him.

Hawks for his part was taking note of what had happened. Incidents like these do not usually happen just once and the possibility was high that teachers knew more about it and even that they incited this kind of event. I will look for information in the HSPC database. I hope I'm wrong, my bosses won't be happy that ex-MLA members have infiltrated public schools.

“For my part, I will have to question both of them and their families to find out how much influence the school had in these events. And as for Bakugo, at the moment, there is no more evidence apart from what we have seen. From what you said, I understand that Aldera did not leave any record of this or any other incident, so the testimony of both will be crucial. Maybe there's something irregular in Midoriya's medical history that can help us. Depending on how the investigation progresses, there may be charges against Bakugo as a minor." Summarized the detective.

"I'll ask Recovery Girl for a copy of the file when we get back." Assured the director. “I will consider your opinion of  young Bakugo, Eraser. On the other hand, I would like to know why Midoriya never said anything about it. Or if he did and was never heard from. Well, it's best to talk to them tomorrow, we'll all need to rest after this."

Bakugo for his part had been speechless, staring into space and with a strange feeling in his chest, for years he had put the nerd in his place, and no one had turned against him. UA from the beginning had shown him to be different from what he expected and what happened showed it more. He wanted to defend himself and say that the nerd would never do it, he was too stubborn to do something like that and the fact that he was here today shows it. But the way everyone was talking about him and the looks on Shittyhair and the others in his row seemed to say otherwise.

"Bakugo, tomorrow morning we'll talk about this, believe me, it won't pass as a minor event. The possibility of charges being found against you is not low.” Aizawa said silencing all the students. He looked at Midoriya who already looked better. “Midoriya, we will also speak with you tomorrow. And as for the others, I don't want any more discussions about it, the older ones will take care of it, return to your seats please."

Yagi got up and together with Sorahiko they walked back to their seats. Along the way, he was unable to look at  young Bakugo with deep disappointment. Katsuki continued silently looking straight ahead but for some reason he felt a pain in him chest from the way that blond man was looking at him.

Outside the school, the green-haired man was complaining about what would happen if he listened to Bakugo when he found his notebook being eaten by fish.

"Deku, you-"

"No Uraraka, I never would have." The boy next to her interrupted her, reassuring those present.

I knew it. The blond thought, even so, the strange feeling wouldn't go away. Was it fear for future consequences or guilt for going too far? Whatever it was, it wouldn't stop bothering him.

After retrieving his notebook, the scene changed to show a little Izuku hopping while calling for his mother. The little boy wanted to use the computer.

The female audience did not stop admiring how adorable the little one was. While the current Izuku did not stop blushing and covering himself with his hands.

“Midoriya! Your mo-” The little pervert was silenced by his friend, before he could say something to regret.

"Dude, it's not a good time." Kaminari said quietly.

"And even if it wasn't, that would be highly inappropriate." Said Shoji, who heard what they were saying.

"You guys are the worst." Kyoka added as she glared at them pointing her Quirk at them in a threatening way.

"Mineta, did you say something?" Izuku asked.

"E-eh yes, w-that your past self is taking all the girls from us." Said an alarmed Mineta.

"Like you and Kaminari ever had a chance, kero," Tsuyu scoffed.

The excited little boy kept rocking in his chair waiting for his mother to post the best video in the world. The day when in the middle of a disaster a man did not stop saving people and giving them encouragement. It was All Might's debut. The excited little boy dreamed of the day when he would be a hero as great as he was.

"Ahhh, it's too adorable." Mina said.

"It's too sweet, at this rate it will give me diabetes." The invisible girl followed.

"Sorry Midoriya, but I'm sure I watched that video more times than you did." Ojiro hinted.

"You're kidding, I think everyone here has seen that video more than once." Sato assured. "But I don't think as many times as Midoriya."

The symbol of Peace was flattered by everything he heard. Being the inspiration of the new generation filled him with pride. On the other hand, hero number 2, felt some jealousy and in turn wondered if he would also inspire more people to be heroes...

"You should give up." The doctor said directly, shattering the dreams of the youngest of the Midoriya’s. The mother asked if her son has a problem. The doctor wanted to know what the Quirks of both parents are, these being levitating small things and breathing fire.

"By what right does Eggman have, to say that Midoriya should give up?" Sero asked.

"I don't know, but I don't think that's the way to say things to a child." Kirishima added.

It's true, the grandfather of the extra with the wings, he was our doctor when we were children. Katsuki remembered. I never knew what became of him...

"That combination of Quirks doesn't seem to have a relationship with Superpower." Yaoyorozu reasoned.

"Maybe it's a mutation?" Iida suggested.

Or maybe Mrs. Midoriya is lying because All Might is the father. Shoto thought. Midoriya denied it, but maybe they just don't want the secret to get out. But there is also Mr. Yagi, he hugged Midoriya as if they had known him for a long time...

Although many were curious, none dared to ask the green-haired boy, who was once again in deep silence as he remembered another of his worst moments.

The doctor explained how children inherit their parents' Quirks and how an ancient study determined that those with supernatural powers did not have a joint in the little toe. This being the reason why the little one would never have a power.

"That doesn't make sense, everyone here has seen Midoriya's power." Shoji said.

“Does anyone here know if this study is still valid?” Asked Hawks. “This could be a case of malpractice.”

"Maybe" the detective replied while writing in his notebook. "It's strange that he bases his judgment on a single old study."

"When we get back, we could check with Chiyo, she may know more about it." Torino said, as he looked at Yagi for answers.

Yagi just shook his head. It had been a long time since his diagnosis, and he didn't remember how he had been diagnosed as Quirkless. Yuga had the same problem; he didn't remember the process with which he was diagnosed and if it was related to his feet or not.

Returning to the Midoriya home, it was a rainy night and the video from before was playing again. Only this time, the little boy in tears asked his mother if he could be a hero too. His mother threw herself into his arms as she apologized. However, that was not what that little boy wanted to hear.

Several members of the audience were unable to hold back their tears upon seeing the little boy's dreams shattered. Among them, a certain chestnut who couldn't contain herself anymore and taking the boy's arm next to her exclaimed:

"No matter what that doctor said Deku, you've already proven that you can be a hero."

“Uraraka…”

"Ochako is right, kero."

"I could not agree more." Todoroki added calmly.

"Guys, I…"

“You don't have to say anything Midoriya, just accept what we say." Iida interfered.

The boy wiped away the rebellious tears that had come out again. And he nodded with a smile.

Returning to the present, the boy stopped in front of a tunnel, remembering his decision to keep going no matter what the obstacle. As he laughed his way down the tunnel, a goo appeared to attack him. The villain began to put the goo inside the boy's body to take over his body, killing him in the process.

“DEKU!!”

“MIDORIYA!!”

Everyone present was concerned to see how the villain attacked the young Quirkless, even though the current Midoriya was with them safe and sound. None expected that things could get worse like this.

I didn't know that the slime villain had trapped Midoriya as well. Kirishima thought.

"Thank you, you are my hero." The villain said mockingly.

"Oh please, it's not enough that the villain tries to kill him, he also makes fun of him." Mineta exclaimed annoyed.

"And I thought this boy's day couldn't get any worse." Endeavor exclaimed. “But if my memory serves me right, this villain was captured, right?”

"That's how it is." Yagi replied. “But before that a lot happened.”

Endeavor raised an eyebrow intrigued to see that Yagi answered as if he had been present...

"Calm down guys, I know this day has been horrible for me, but I promise things will get better." Izuku said seeing the worried faces of the others.

So, you had already seen that monster. Was this where that Quirk of yours appeared? Was that why you managed to save yourself from him? Damn nerd.

Deku, I know you're going to be fine, but I don't like seeing you like this. The brown-haired girl thought, as she unconsciously grabbed Izuku's hand as a sign of support.

Little by little the boy was losing strength and when it seemed the end, the symbol of peace appeared from the sewers along with an epic entrance melody. The villain futilely tried to defend himself but was sent flying by a single gust of wind, leaving the youth and the villain unconscious.

“ALL MIGHT!!! ALL MIGHT!!! ALL MIGHT!!!” All the students cheered.

"Midoriya, I didn't know you met All Might before you went to UA, kero."

"It seems that Deku is full of surprises" Ochako added with a small smile, letting go of the boy's hand.

A small blush appeared on the boy's cheeks as he realized the girl's closeness.

Not bad Toshinori, not bad. Sorahiko thought. I didn't expect this to be how you would meet your successor.

Seeing the unconscious boy, the peace symbol proceeded to tap him a few times to wake him up.

The students couldn't contain their laughter, while the adults couldn't believe their eyes.

Which is why Torino couldn't resist punching Toshinori on the nape and muttering a scolding: "I thought I taught you first aid."

The surprise of seeing his idol was unique for the young man and more so when he saw that he apologized and thanked him for his help, showing the captured villain. The young man was looking for his notebook for his hero to sign, which he had already done. Seeing him, the young man thanked him with all his soul.

All the students laughed at the reactions of the green-haired boy, who just wanted to hide from embarrassment. But those who knew of the incident wondered, how had the villain escaped?

All Might was preparing to leave and turn the villain over to the police, but the young man still had a lot to say. Giving a tremendous jump the muscular blond said goodbye, only to realize that he was carrying extra weight. He tried to get rid of the boy by struggling a bit, until he realized that he had to land so that the young man would let go and not die in the process. Looking for a place to stop was when he started coughing up blood.

The laughter of the public had increased when they saw the small discussion in the air, which quickly turned into confusion when they saw the state of All Might.

"Midoriya, that was very dangerous." He scolded Iida, who was able to remain serious.

"I know, but I couldn't just leave it like that." Izuku defended himself.

Leaving that aside, what's wrong with All Might?" Minoru asked. "Do you know something Midoriya?"

"Well... I think you'd better see for yourselves." After all, it's not my secret, at least not that part.

Already on top of a roof, the symbol of peace insisted on leaving due to lack of time. At that moment the boy remembered the words of those who did not believe in him. But even so, the boy steeled himself to ask:

"Can someone without a Quirk be like you?"

Which managed to stop the number 1 hero, while the older Midoriya narrated how this encounter changed his destiny forever. Thus finished the chapter and the credits began.

"No, it can't end here!" Ashido yelled. "I need to know what All Might responded to Midori."

"Midori?" Midoriya asked.

"Calm down Young Ashido, we still have another chapter for tonight." Paradox reminded him.

"Ahhh, it's little Midoriya playing with his All Might figure, he's too adorable." Exclaimed the invisible girl. All the girls nodded making poor Izuku blush like a strawberry.

"Why does almost the entire ending show Midoriya running?" Kaminari asked.

“I suppose it represents the fact of continuing to move forward to achieve your goals despite the adversities.” Momo answered.

"Ohhh, that's why he tripped." Kirishima added. "That's so manly."

"And that's why it's dawning little by little." Tokoyami added.

"I never liked to see small children cry and even less when it's a friend, kero."

“With this we end the episode. I'll give you 10 minutes break, I guess you'll have some things to discuss." The scientist exclaimed as a countdown was displayed on the screen.

Notes:

This was a somewhat intense start. I must clarify that personally Bakugo does not seem like a bad character to me, I understand why many people did not like him at the beginning and those who still do not and perhaps never will.
I think one of the reasons it took so long for him to change with Deku, aside from the silly idea of Deku seeing him as weak or inferior, is the fact that no one ever stopped him and made him see that what he was doing it's wrong.
In this story where it has been shown that what you do brings consequences, it seems strange to me that it never happened with Bakugo, he only understood that what he did was wrong, after a long time, and that's why he took so long to apologize. That's why there will be consequences here.
Anyway, understand that this is just my point of view, if you do not agree you are free to comment.
With that said, see you in the next chapter.

Chapter 3: S1 E2 - What It Takes to Be a Hero

Chapter Text

Taking advantage of the short break, most of those present decided to get up from their seats and separate into various groups. In the front row, Izuku's friends were making sure the boy was okay.

"Guys, I'm going to be fine; I just need a moment alone." The boy replied.

"Are you sure? We can stay here with you if you want." Tenya exclaimed still worried.

"Don't worry, I'll be-"

"It's not necessary, young Iida." Yagi interrupted the freckled boy. "I'll stay here with him, there are things I'd like to discuss with him alone."

Surprised by the sudden interruption and appearance of hero #1, the green-haired boy simply nodded.

"Very well Deku, we leave you alone." Ochako said as the 4 of them turned around to leave, but before doing so she remembered something, she turned around again and said: "Ahh, s-s-sorry for hugging you without your permission, I know it's not something you're used to." The girl exclaimed with a slight blush on her cheeks. And now I know why.

The boy simply smiled as he said, “No problem Uraraka, I actually needed it. Thank you." And remembering that they were not alone, he added: "And thanks also to you guys, that meant a lot to me."

"You're welcome, Kero." Asui exclaimed, as the four walked away as Izuku and Toshinori took a seat together.

“Are you ready for what is coming, young Midoriya?”

“I-I don't know. I don't think I'm ready for them to know that I was…” The boy exclaimed frustrated.

"I understand, I'm not ready for them to know who I really am either." The peace symbol exclaimed sympathetically. "But something tells me they'll be more understanding than we think."

"B-but what about One... I mean my Quirk." The boy looked around in case anyone nearby was listening. Fortunately, this was not the case.

"Well, we'll see what to do when we get to that point." Yagi said thoughtfully.

"I hope they don't mind what we talked about on the roof." Said the worried boy. He didn't want to cause All Might trouble.

"Perhaps. I know I just wanted to protect you, but there were better ways to say it." Yagi was still upset with himself for what happened that day and what he discovered today didn't help much.

"O-okay All Might, it's in the past." The boy said dismissing the matter, although he still looked nervous. "Also, this time at UA has shown me that being a hero is difficult for someone with powers, I can't imagine how it would be without them."

"It's true." The blond exclaimed as he came up with an idea to distract his pupil from what was coming. “But we lose nothing by imagining possibilities, right. Tell me young Midoriya, what do you think it would take to make that happen?"

Izuku excitedly opened his notebook and began to think of all kinds of ideas that would make this possible and he discussed them with his predecessor. Meanwhile, Kaminari approached Shoto to tell him about the incident at the mall, not noticing that Katsuki was also approaching. Noticing this, Kaminari took a step back, which did not go unnoticed by the explosive boy:

"Do you have a problem with me, Pikachu?"

“Y-Yes. I mean no. I mean I'm not sure." Kaminari responded nervously.

"What the hell do you mean by that?!" Bakugo asked annoyed.

"Dude, I just saw how you told Midoriya to kill himself, how do you expect me to feel?" Kaminari replied, leaving Katsuki speechless. "But-"

"I know that was a long time ago and I think you may be better than what we've seen." Todoroki interrupted, who was staring at the explosive boy. "That's what you think, Kaminari?"

Kaminari looked at the bi-colored haired boy in astonishment, as he nodded. That's not what I expected. "A little summarized everything, but yes, I feel something like that."

“How kind of you, half-half. Do you think the same?" Katsuki asked.

Shoto thought for a moment, ordering his thoughts until he concluded: "Despite everything you've done to him, Midoriya continues to speak well of you." Bakugo growled in response. “I don't understand what your problem is with him and it's not my place to know. However, as his friend I have decided to believe in his judgment." The young Todoroki hardened his gaze and looking back at the explosive blond added. "Even so, that doesn't mean I forgive what you've done to him or allow something like this to happen again." Without noticing it, Shoto had lightly ignited the left side of his body as he spoke.

“Nice speech.” Bakugo sneered and noticing the flames added: “You seem to want to prove your point with more than words. Fine, come and give me the duel you denied me at the sports festival.”

"G-guys-"

"I don't have to give you what you want or show you anything." Shoto replied as he extinguished his flames. "I just hope it's made clear to you."

"Coward, is it because Endeavor is present?" Bakugo replied as an explosion came out of his hand, earning Shoto's icy glare.

Seeing that the two of them were getting close to each other, the electric boy stepped between them while emitting some electricity.

"Enough, if you want to know what happened to Midoriya you better calm down."

Taking a deep breath Todoroki replied: "You're right Kaminari, sorry to get you involved."

Bakugo made a disgusted face but didn't move from his position.

"No problem, Todoroki." Denki replied, immediately turning around and looking at Bakugo, he added: "Dude, don't make me regret my... well, the words Todoroki said for me, and I don't think this is the time for you to pick fights.” The electric boy glanced sideways at the adults, who seemed unaware of what was happening.

"Fineeeee." Bakugo replied, regaining his composure "But only because I want to know what mistake the nerd made this time."

Sure Bakugo, whatever allows you to sleep better at night. Kaminari thought as he rolled his eyes.

And while they found out about what happened in the mall, the rest of the students, except Deku, were discussing what they had seen.

"How is Midoriya?" asked Aoyama concerned.

"A little better, he was left alone with Mr. Yagi." Ochako replied frustrated. "I didn't think he would have gone through something like that. How did I not realize before?!"

"Ochako, don't blame yourself for this." Toru answered, as she put her hand on the brown-haired girl's shoulder. "You couldn't know that grumpy Bakugo would be a Bully."

"I agree, his attitude was always aggressive towards everyone, but I didn't think he would do something so horrible." Sato added, visibly upset.

"Guys, I know we're all upset with Bakugo's behavior, but we have to deal with this with a cool head." Momo exclaimed, trying to calm things down.

"There's not much to say, that rabid Pomeranian doesn't know how to treat others." Mineta replied.

Yes, because you are the best to talk about how to treat others. Kyoka thought sarcastically. But sadly, he has a point.

"I understand what you say, I still don't quite believe it." Sero replied saddened. "I want to believe that he is different now, but I'm not really sure."

“I know that his character is strong and, in some cases, somewhat rude, but he is not a bad person. He has shown that he wants to be a good hero. I want to believe in him." Kirishima said in defense of the blonde. "But I know that what he did to Midoriya is inexcusable and I understand if you don't want to deal with him like you did before."

"I think we're getting away from the point, what we should care about is what we're going to do with what we've seen today." Shoji interjected as he crossed his arms.

"Can we do something? I mean, all of this happened in the past, I don't see how we can do anything about it." Ojiro exclaimed thoughtfully.

True, there is no proof that this is still happening. Iida thought. But Midoriya didn't report it before, I doubt that here at UA he would have. I'll have to talk to him later.

"B-Bakugo d-did anything to anyone besides Midoriya?" Koda mumbled nervously.

"Koda, are you suggesting that Bakugo is now someone else's Bully?" Iida asked. That is another possibility.

"Guys, I think we're overreacting." Kirishima replied.

"Kiri, Bakugo is also my friend and that's why I know this is awkward." Mina said as she put a hand on the boy's shoulder in support. "But if we want to help him, we need to know how bad everything is."

The boy did not want to doubt his friend, they had gone through a lot in a truly brief time that had brought them together, or so he wanted to believe. But he could not deny the possibility, not after what he had just seen, letting out a resigned sigh he allowed them to continue.

"Okay, you heard. Has Bakugo done something to anyone?" Kyoka asked.

Everyone present, after a short period of reflection, shook their heads.

“I guess with Todoroki and Kaminari it's the same. Or so I want to believe." Tsuyu said.

"Well, I don't know if this is better or worse." Iida said.

"What do you mean?" Tokoyami asked.

"For one thing, it means that Bakugo isn't a Bully looking for weak people to annoy." Tenya explained.

"That's good, isn't it?" Sero asked.

"Not at all." Uraraka replied with obvious discomfort. "It means that he has something specific against Deku."

Or maybe he just has a thing against the Quirkless. Thought Yuga, who didn't dare say it out loud.

"Makes sense, Bakugo was always very aggressive towards Midoriya, Kero." Tsuyu added.

"Then we just have to avoid both of them being alone and there won't be any problems, right?" Toro exclaimed.

"Maybe, but we can't always be with Midoriya." Ojiro replied.

"Then what do we do?" Shoji asked with his arms still crossed.

“We will have to wait for the decision that the adults make, but one thing is for sure we must be there to support Midoriya.” Momo said.

"In the meantime, don't provoke Bakugo, I know I can't ask you to treat him like before, but I ask you not to isolate him from the rest. I believe in second chances and that a mistake should not mark you forever. Midoriya believes in him despite everything, and I think we should respect that." Iida summed up, ending the matter for the moment.

"Okay, putting that aside, does anyone know why a weakling turned into All Might?" Mineta asked, causing all the students to launch multiple theories about it.

For their part, the rest of the adults discussed some details of how to start the investigation with Aldera, starting with a small count of possible moments that show that Bakugo continued in bad steps or not. In the midst of this, Nezu decided to speak separately with Hawks and Endeavor:

"Well, as you may have noticed, All Might has a health problem." Nezu said climbing on Tsukauchi's shoulder.

“Yeah, the mud villain didn't touch him, but he was spitting blood. It is obvious that he suffers from some disease.” Hawks said.

"I hope it's not something serious." Endeavor added, surprising the director.

"I'm glad you care about All Might's well-being."

“You get me wrong, Nezu, I'm just worried that I'll have to take the place as the number 1 hero, because All Might has to retire. I would prefer to get it because of my effort.”

The silence before that answer lasted longer than expected by all those present.

“Ehem, as we were saying, we would like to ask you to keep All Might's current state a secret. We don't want to cause panic among civilians." Tsukauchi said.

"No problem, but I feel like you guys are hiding something from us." Hawks answered, who considered for a moment sending his feathers all over the place looking for information. No, something tells me that everything will be revealed in time.

"You're right, Hawks, don't worry, you'll know everything in no time." Nezu said. "Wow, we have less than a minute left we all better go back to our seats."

"Hey listeners! Get back in your seats, we're going to continue." Mic exclaimed seeing that hardly anyone had noticed how much time they had left.

Everyone went back to their seats just as the timer hit zero and Paradox started the last episode of the night.

The episode began by again showing Izuku's memory of watching All Might's debut, followed by the moment his dreams were shattered for not having a power. Continuing with memories where his classmates made fun of him and where no one trusted him. Even so, the young man needed to know if despite everything someone without power can be a hero.

"Why are we seeing this again?" Endeavor asked. "I think it's clear that the boy hasn't had an easy life."

“Usually, the recaps serve to remind the audience of what happened in the previous episode, it is useful in weekly series and/or that are for seasons with long periods between them. For you it could be useful if there is any detail that you could have overlooked.” Paradox answered, which brought the director's attention.

"Is there anything in these memories of Midoriya that could be useful?"

Paradox didn't say anything, he just shrugged, implying maybe yes or maybe no. Suspicious... It was what many in the audience thought, but having no clues they chose to continue watching the screen.

"I hope something good comes out of this, I almost cried again for little Midori." Mina said as she wiped away a rebel tear.

"I agree, are you going to be okay Midoriya?" Tsuyu asked.

"Ehh, ah yes Tsuyu, no problem." The young man answered somewhat distracted thinking about the big surprise that was coming.

All Might meditated on the young man's question for a few seconds, before beginning to complain of pain as steam began to emanate from his body. The boy kept talking about his desire and his problems without realizing what was happening.

Sounds of astonishment and concern were heard from those present upon seeing the state of All Might. Endeavor, he began to feel chills through his body, he felt that something shocking was about to happen. Whatever All Might has is serious, I've never seen someone who doesn't have a fire Quirk give off this much steam. Is this some kind of wear and tear caused by the amount of force he can use?

"Midoriya should stop getting so lost in his mind and see his surroundings a bit more." Mic said

"You're right, I'll have to give them an extra lesson in analyzing their surroundings." Eraser added, as he wrote it down in his notebook.

The boy finally looked forward again to find a skeletal man where his idol used to be, causing the boy to give a huge scream, thus beginning the opening.

“WHAAAAAAAAT?!” The joint scream of all the students almost outshines any average Hizashi scream. Seeing the chaos that was about to begin, Yagi, giving a resigned huff, got up from his seat and transformed into his muscular form.

“HAHAHAHA. Hello young people, I am here.” The symbol of peace exclaimed, drawing everyone's attention and leaving them stunned and silent. "Sorry for being in my other form earlier, but from the way the story is going this will be explained briefly, I know this is-"

All Might was abruptly interrupted by a furious Endeavor, with flames burning all over his body, who had risen from his seat at full speed, ran up to him and grabbing him by the collar of his sleeping shirt exclaimed:

"WHAT THE HELL DOES THIS MEAN?!!" He yelled as he began to shake Yagi. “WHAT'S WITH THAT PATHETIC FORM OF YOURS?!!” Did I sacrifice so much for this? Did I do everything I did for this? Hero No. 2 thought as he remembered the hellish training, he exposed Shoto to, locking Rei in the hospital and… Touya. Seeing that all the students and adults were looking at him as if he had gone crazy, he took a deep breath and letting go of the peace symbol he exclaimed: “Answer me Yagi! If that's your real name."

Yagi didn't know how to react, of all the possible reactions, he doesn't expect one so angry or so personal. I'd better think about this later.

“Endeavor, calm down, as I said, the story will explain it later. And yes, Toshinori Yagi is my real name, which is not known by the press or the general public." The symbol of peace exclaimed while fixing his clothes. "That's why I ask you to have some patience and to please keep the secret of what you are going to witness."

Toshinori returned to his skeletal form and sat back down. Endeavor was still standing in shock, trying to process everything. Aizawa, seeing that he did not react and that his clothes began to burn, activated his Quirk, putting out the flames while he said: "Endeavor, I don't know what your problem is, but this is not a good example for my students.”

"Not to mention, it's not the way to treat another hero." The visibly upset detective added.

"Endeavor, please return to your seat." Said the principal. Strange, I assumed it would surprise him and demand answers, but never something of this magnitude.

Angry, stunned, and seeing that he wouldn't receive any response, Enji slowly returned to his seat. The feathered hero did not expect that reaction, he is also confused and wanted answers, but not so urgently. Something clearly wasn't right and seeing that no one said anything he decided to ask:

"Endeavor, are you alright?"

The hero of the flames simply grunted in response, he had too much to think about and too little to comment on.

I should have imagined that reaction. Shoto thought. Now my father will have a lot to think about. I didn't expect Mr. Yagi to be All Might… Wait….

“Midoriya, you lied to me.” Todoroki exclaimed.

"Ahh, what do you mean?" The young Midoriya asked, somewhat confused at the change of subject.

"Clearly you have a very close relationship with Mr. Yagi, and it turns out that he is All Might, it is obvious, he is your father." Shoto replied calmly as if he was the most obvious thing in the world.

“WHAAAAAAAT?!!!” All those present exclaimed except Todoroki.

“What the hell did you just say half-half?! How can you insinuate that the nerd is the son of All Might." Bakugo exclaimed. What the hell is going on today? It's bad enough that the guy I've admired for being indestructible and invincible has a weakness, for this to happen now. The irascible blond thought, trying not to add to the list of strange things the "consequences" Aizawa spoke of.

"You know him before everyone else, tell us how is his father physically?" He responded defiantly.

"Fine, he is..." But he couldn't continue, he hadn't seen Deku's father since he was 4 years old, he didn't remember anything about him, he didn't know his height, or his hair color, or if he had freckles. Nothing, his memory was blank and the fact that he was never present in the nerd's life didn't help. Accepting defeat, he exclaimed: "I-I can't remember anything about him." I refuse to believe that he is...

"Well, that explains why their Quirks are so similar." Tsuyu said quietly, adding more fuel to the fire. All the students looked accusingly at the green-haired boy.

"T-todoroki, I told you the truth, my father is Hisashi Midoriya, his Quirk is Breath of Fire, and I haven't seen him for a long time because he works abroad." Although the truth is, I haven't seen him for years and I can't remember the last time I spoke to him...

The fact that you don't describe him physically doesn't help Midoriya. Iida thought.

That would explain why when we came back to UA, after the USJ, he wanted to talk to him alone. He was worried about his son? Ochako thought.

And while his companions looked at him accusingly in search of more answers. Yagi suffered the same fate from his fellow row members.

"I-I promise you that young Midoriya is not my son, if we follow the story, you will see why we trust each other so much."

“I don't know All Might, you've been too aware of him. More than the rest of the class.” Aizawa added, staring at him.

“Th-that has an explanation, I…”

"We'd better leave it at that." The director exclaimed. "Speculating will not get us anywhere, especially when the answers are on the screen, it is best to continue, we already lost the entire opening."

The opening that shows Midoriya and All Might fighting as one. The bicolor haired boy thought as he prepared to write down his theory in his notebook.

In the shopping district, in an alley, an unconscious criminal was found inside a plastic bottle.

"How did it end up there? All Might had it a while back." Said Mineta.

"That's my fault." The green-haired admitted. "I guess you'll see it later."

So, it's your fault, you damn nerd.

The villain woke up just at the same time as three students approached. Bakugo's two minions recriminated him for having gone too far with Midoriya. Bakugo blamed the green-haired for getting in his way while he unintentionally released the villain.

"At least the other two know that Bakugo went too far." Kaminari exclaimed.

"Blaming the victim doesn't help his case." The detective exclaimed as he wrote down in his notebook. "Wait, are the two in the back smoking?"

"It's true." Confirmed hawks. "This is getting better by the moment." A minor almost died and now two smoking, I hope this is not something frequent.

“I see that extra class of analysis of the environment as more and more necessary.” Aizawa exclaimed.

"Oh, oh." Said Mineta, while he closed his eyes so as not to see what was coming. "This will not end well."

So, the brat released the villain, I'd say this is karma, but I think that would be going too far. Sorahiko thought.

Katsuki exploded a can of anger. He then yelled at his two minions for smoking near him. In that the sludge villain pounced on the boy in search of a body with a good Quirk. The scene changed to show the title of the episode: "What It Takes to Be a Hero."

“Bakugo, you…”

“Relax Shittyhair, I'm here, nothing serious happened that day.”

It's true, but even so... Several in the audience thought with concern.

"Bakugo, you did the right thing by scolding your classmates for smoking." Iida exclaimed happily seeing that someone does something so that the juvenile laws are respected.

"Except for the fact that he only did it out of fear of it going on his record, Kero." The frog girl replied earning a grunt from the bomb boy.

"Leaving that aside, this is the incident Monoma was teasing you with, right?" Sero asked.

Katsuki just grunted in response, he hated the fact that he was recognized for being kidnapped as a useless.

Curious title. Mic thought. Will the little listener show his worth?

Back on the roof, where Midoriya was still screaming in surprise at seeing his hero suddenly lose weight, he accused the thin man of being an impostor. Yagi confirmed his identity, while he spat out a lot of blood.

"I can't blame you, Deku. If it wasn't for the fact that I saw him transform recently, I wouldn't believe it either." Ochako said, giving him some support when she saw how the others made fun of his reaction.

"Yagi, I know that the blood is the result of what you suffer, but it is not normal for you to spit so much." Nemuri said worried about the health of her co-worker.

"Calm down Young Kayama, that only happens when I overexert my body." Said the blonde to reassure her.

This can't be true. Endeavor wailed as he smacked his forehead.

All Might compared himself to people who hide their bellies when going to the pool. Which did not finish convincing the frightened young man, who always saw All Might as someone heroic who saves everyone, without fear, with a big smile. For his part, the hero asked to keep the secret from anyone. Lifting his T-shirt, the hero revealed a hideous scar across much of his left torso.

The students were horrified to see the wound on the peace symbol, they had always seen him as someone unbeatable, almost all-powerful that sometimes made them forget that he was also a normal human.

No, I can't be true. Who could do that to All Might? Endeavor thought, genuinely astonished and somewhat worried.

No, it is not possible. He always wins without getting hurt, this can't be real. Katsuki thought visibly worried.

I still remember the first time I saw his scar in person. Mic recalled as a chill ran down his spine.

The hero explained that his injury occurred 5 years ago, which destroyed part of his respiratory system and stomach. Due to the effects of the surgeries, this is his current condition, where he can only be a hero for 3 hours a day.

"H-how... how can he continue to work after that?" Mineta screeched.

“Very simple young Mineta. Because I still have a lot to do." The symbol of peace answered. And soon you will know what it is...

Aizawa raised an intrigued eyebrow. Why does he say it as if global security would depend on him?

“Big guy, I think you exaggerate.” Mic said. “There are still many capable heroes left on the field.”

"I know young Yamada." Yagi replied. But there are things that only I can do.

"How did we never notice?" Yaoyorozu wondered. "If All Might always left class in a hurry."

“I always assumed he had to go on patrol or do paperwork.” Iida replied, though in retrospect it seemed like a rather vague excuse.

"I assume the professors help him keep his secret at UA." Ojiro added. "I don't remember seeing Mr. Yagi in his civilian form before."

Wait, he was with Deku at the sports festival. Uraraka remembered. Maybe Todoroki is right.

"That's right, all the teaching staff are aware of All Might's condition." Nezu replied, drawing the attention of everyone present. "I guess I don't need to mention the importance of keeping the secret and not divulging it to anyone."

They all nodded as they felt a chill from the way the director was looking at them.

For his part, Endeavor felt the immense need to go train, he needed to vent all this anger that was accumulating little by little with each new piece of information. His angry face was ignored by everyone, even by Hawks, who was wondering if his bosses in the commission knew all this or if he should inform them. Well, it's only episode 2, I have time to think about it calmly.

The boy asked if it was "Toxic Chainsaw" who did that to him. All Might denied it and told him that this fight was never made public at his own request, after all the symbol of peace cannot be intimidated by evil. That's why he always smiles, to hide the fear of danger.

A fight not known to the public. What the hell happened 6 years ago? Endeavor thought, frustrated that the mysteries kept piling up.

He hasn't said anything to Midoriya that he hasn't told us. Eraser thought. That's good, it wouldn't be good to give him all the details.

I hope no one asks what happened to the villain, it's not the best time for them to know about AFO. Tsukauchi thought. On the other hand, I didn't expect this to be the first conversation between Toshinori and his successor.

The commission definitely knows something, they couldn't hide this without their support. Keigo thought, he didn't even want to imagine how that battle would end if All Might ended like this.

In short, All Might wanted to make clear the risks of being a hero and because of them he simply couldn't say that it's possible to be a hero without a power. He recommended another job since it's not bad to have a dream, but that's not why he has to stop being realistic. Leaving the young green-haired young man alone on the roof with broken dreams.

"A-All Might?"

“Sir, why…?”

"It's not fair."

Almost all the students protested at the unexpected response of the peace symbol, except for a certain explosive boy, who was still speechless, a part of him was glad that All Might agree with him. But, on the other hand… Why now? Why did someone else have to break the nerd's dreams on a rooftop the same day I said…?

I never had a chance. Aoyama thought resigned and saddened.

"All Might, I understand that you said that because you were concerned about Midoriya's safety." Aizawa growled. “But it was neither the place nor the best possible way.”

"Toshinori, you shouldn't have left him alone on the roof, not after telling him that." Torino scolded him. But I can't blame him, he knows better than anyone that it's a practically impossible dream.

"I know, and I regret it." Yagi said with his hand closed in anger with himself. Looking up at his successor, he returned her gaze calmly, reminding him of what they had discussed just a while ago.

Seeing the situation, Tsukauchi decided to ease the tension a bit by saying:

"Toshi, I'm flattered that you're giving us Midoriya." He said with a teasing smile. "Don't worry, his analytical skills will be very useful to us in the police."

Giggling a little, Yagi muttered: "Don't think I'll let go of my successor so easily."

I'm usually an optimist, and I know that a Quirk isn't everything to be a hero. But there are barriers that not even the best training can overcome. And more if Midoriya wants to be a hero like All Might. Hawks thought.

"Guys, it's okay, it's in the past and you'll see that something good will come from this." The green-haired man said calming down his classmates.

"Are you going to be alright, Deku?" Ochako asked, worried about seeing the horrible day of his friend. The green-haired man nodded in response and added: "Uraraka, you'll soon see why this is my worst and at the same time the best day of my middle school life."

"A hard blow for Midoriya." Tokoyami said.

"Oui, but if he's here with us it's because his glow couldn't be turned off so easily." Aoyama replied very confidently. However, there was something that did not stop bothering him. I don't like this, I hope they soon reveal that Midoriya's Quirk was asleep or else...

In the shopping district there was a lot of chaos, fire everywhere, people running away and lots of explosions. Death Arms arrived at the scene and saw how the mud villain had kidnapped Bakugo. The hero threw a punch at the monster to make it free the boy. Unfortunately, the punch had no effect and in response he received a blow that sent him flying away.

The looks of concern from a large part of those present did not stop making the explosive boy uncomfortable. And seeing that Kirishima was struggling to say something, he growled:

“Ok extras, the situation is not the best for me, but I am here now. So, stop worrying and keep watching the series once and for all."

"Who'd say? Bakugo does care about us." Sero said mockingly.

"Shut up! I just want this to end at once, some of us like to sleep early.” Katsuki yelled earning the looks of disbelief from all of his row mates.

Yes, my friend, whatever you say… Kirishima thought.

“Ugh, that had to hurt.” Shoji said seeing the blow Death Arms received.

"Wait, that guy is a liquid, how can he grab people?" Toru asked.

"It is simple. He can control the viscosity of his body. Being a liquid, he can enter people's bodies, expand enough to capture someone, and make it very difficult to be captured. It seems that the only parts of his body that remain the same are his eyes and his teeth, which raises questions about…” Midoriya muttered at full speed while writing notes on the villain in his notebook, until he was interrupted.

"Midoriya, please breathe, I think very few of us could keep up with what you mutter." Iida said. "But I agree with you with the viscosity."

"Oh, sorry guys, I hope I answered your question, Hagakure."

"Yes, Professor Midori." Answered Toru, who was grateful that his confused face couldn't be seen by anyone, after all, hardly anyone can keep up with the green-haired boy when he mutters without translating subtitles. I'll have to ask Yaomomo tomorrow.

Bakugo tried to run away with all his might using his explosions, which increased the danger and damage. Earning the admiration of the villain who wanted to use his power to defeat All Might.

"I think that monster is overestimating Bakugo's power." Jiro said. There being no response from the explosive boy, several turned to see him surprised.

"What? You expect me to say it's a lie, I'm strong, but I know my past self couldn't even scratch All Might." Bakugo growled. Even my best current explosions won't make him back down. The young man thought as he remembered his confrontation in the exam.

Aizawa, intrigued, raised an eyebrow. Interesting, he is able to recognize his limits, but not to ask for help. Shota thought as he remembered the exam. Something tells me he wouldn't have accepted help, even no matter what his partner was.

Mt. Lady arrived as reinforcement, unfortunately there was not much space for her. Bakugo's minions were rescued by Kamui, while Backdraft took care of the fire. None of the heroes knew how to save Bakugo and they just hoped that someone with a better Quirk would come to their aid and that the boy would hold out until then.

"Oh please, there must be something they can do." Sato exclaimed in frustration.

"I agree young Sato, the heroes present must seek other non-direct methods of action." Nezu said. "In fact, this gave me an idea, I will leave you a small task that you will do in groups made up of the members of each row."

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. It was the collective thought of almost all the students. Seeing the worried faces of his students, the chimera added:

“Oh, don't worry, you will have 2 days to present it. Anyway, your task is the scene you see on the screen, but we are going to change the heroes on the scene for you. You will have to devise a strategy to save young Bakugo and to make things easier for you, you can use any of the pro-heroes present as reinforcements, except All Might.”

“And to clarify, the idea is that these strategies cause as little damage as possible and that you do not end up hurt.” Aizawa added, staring at Midoriya, who swallowed nervously.

"Damn, I thought we wouldn't have to deal with this here." Kaminari wailed softly as Mineta patted his arm in support.

All Might managed to arrive on the scene and began to blame himself for losing the villain due to his time limit. At the same time, a very depressed Izuku looked at his notebook while he walked aimlessly, while remembering all the words of discouragement he had received. The boy knew that he had ignored reality for too long.

Seeing the environment so saddened by Midoriya's broken dreams, the electric boy couldn't help but notice something else:

“I didn't expect Midoriya to list as a quality of Mt. Lady being Sexy.” Instantly everyone turned to stare at him, to which he replied: “I said it out loud, right?”

"Yes, yes you did." Dark Shadow taunted, as Tokoyami tried to shut him up.

"Interesting, I wondered if he would say something similar about us in his notebook." Mina said with a mischievous smile.

"I never expected that of you, Midori." Toru said with the same playful tone.

Midoriya blushed furiously while denying with all his might, the brown-haired girl next to him felt some discomfort at that, she just didn't know why. Although Mina's words made her somewhat curious.

I can't blame him. The grape boy thought, though he resented the fact that if he had said something similar, he would already have taken a hit.

"No, no, he's has a point." Kayama said in defense of the boy.

"I don't understand teacher. What is the point?" Momo said intrigued.

“Well, it's simple actually. It all comes down to the fact that a girl with the right outfit can make the bad guys not aware of what is happening. Especially if it's a tight hero suit.” The heroine replied, whose answer caught almost all of the students who were staring at her with their mouths open off guard.

"Ah, I understand what you mean, Nemuri." Mic replied. "Distraction. In a fight against a villain, any distraction that allows them to defeat or capture them is crucial."

“That's right, thanks Mic. Obviously, this does not always apply and sometimes it works without you expecting it. And of course, it's your choice to use the 'seduction' as a distraction voluntarily.” Nemuri answered when she saw the worried faces of the female sector of the students.

If some jerk tries to mess with me, I'll punch him in the nuts. The rocker girl thought like all her classmates.

"On the other hand, those are very good drawings Midoriya, keep it up and you'll do very well in my class." The R-Rated Hero heroine added causing the green-haired boy to blush not being used to receiving praise so often.

The discouraged boy accidentally came to the disaster site and saw the villain. Connecting the dots, he realized that the villain got away because of him. The crowd began to complain that the situation was still not under control and demanded that All Might take charge. Without knowing it, both blamed each other for what happened.

"I get it, the bottle fell when All Might tried to get Midoriya off of him." Momo summed up.

"It's my fault, if only-"

“No, young Midoriya, the professional hero is me. The one who had to ensure that the villain remained captured was me.” The symbol of peace interrupted him, trying to remove, with little success, the guilt the young man felt.

"But-"

“Stop blaming each other, both of you.” Torino interceded when he saw how hard-headed his two pupils are. "What done is done. It only remains to be seen how you solved this.”

"Of course, I can resist more than you, Deku." Said the explosive boy changing the subject. Although, in hindsight, everything I did only made the situation worse.

Midoriya finally recognized the hostage and seeing his childhood friend's panicked face, he began to run, dodging the police barrier and alarming the heroes present.

“DEKU?!”

“MIDORIYA!!”

“WHAAAT?”

"So, it was you. You were the boy who tried to save Bakugo." Kirishima exclaimed in disbelief.

"Oh, you knew about that, Kirishima." Izuku said. I thought the media had ignored that detail. "It was nothing, and I really didn't do much."

No, I don't think so. Shoto thought. It's your origin story as a hero, I doubt it wouldn't have had some impact.

For her part, Uraraka looked at Midoriya somewhat annoyed as she said:

"What are you saying Deku? Of course, you did something, stop belittling what you do."

“Uraraka, I-”

“Ochako is right, kero. Few people would try to save someone who has treated them badly." Asui joined. The boy opened his mouth to protest, but Asui's gaze and Uraraka's angry gaze stopped him immediately.

I will have to speak to the Mustafu police chief, two incidents and in both the support of the local police was flawed. Tsukauchi thought, letting out a sigh of resignation at seeing all the work that was coming his way at the rate things were going. On the other hand, I think I know how this will all ends.

The villain and his victim recognized the boy immediately. While the boy wondered why the hell he was running and what to do in that situation. Remembering what was written in his notebook, Izuku threw his suitcase at the villain, thus hitting the monster's eye allowing Bakugo to take a temporary breath.

"Good job, Midoriya." The winged hero congratulated him. "Any second to catch air is vital for a drowning victim."

"I knew, see, you did do something." Uraraka exclaimed proud of her best friend.

The rest of his classmates also congratulated him for coming up with a solution in such a short time. So, the boy had no choice but to accept what they said.

"Hawks, don't encourage the problem child." Aizawa growled. “The boy acted recklessly, without having any plan. I hope this is not a frequent thing Midoriya.” He added, staring at the green-haired boy. "But I have to admit that he has already done more for Bakugo than any of the other heroes present."

Shota is right, but the background music clearly thinks otherwise. Mic pondered.

Izuku tried to move the mud that was on top of Bakugo, while the blonde asked why the hell is the Quirkless boy there. Midoriya admitted that his legs moved on their own. And after thinking about it for a bit, he tearfully replied:

"It looked like you were asking for help."

Yagi saw his disciple proud; it is true that the boy acted without a plan and without power to back it up. But his motivation was correct, that was the reason why he decided to give it a try and despite the setbacks he was proving to be a very good successor.

That's more courage than I would have shown a year ago. Kirishima thought, remembering the time Mina defended her classmates from that terrifying giant. A growl from next to him snapped him out of his thoughts, and he turned to see the explosive boy more annoying than usual.

“Bakubro, it's okay to be afraid. That guy wanted to kill you, that's just a natural reaction." Kirishima exclaimed, as he placed his hand on the boy's back.

The blond boy's face went from anger to confusion in milliseconds and then back to anger as he snarled. “Who told you that he was afraid, Shittyhair?!” And noticing his hand on his back he added. "And take your hand off my back." In response he only got a look that seemed to say, 'I knew it', which only made his mood worse.

He's doing very well, aside from him trying to remove the mud with his hands in panic. Endeavor thought. More if we consider that he does not have any power to support him.

It must be here when Superpower appeared. The blond Frenchman thought hopefully.

Due to this, the symbol of peace managed to react and began to transform. The rest of the heroes, seeing that the villain was going to attack Midoriya, started to move. All Might arrived in time to parry the blow, while he was scolding himself for being a hypocrite, he grabbed Bakugo by the wrist and using a powerful Detroit Smash created a large air current. Resulting in the two boys unconscious, but safe and creating some rain clouds. Wiping the blood from his mouth, All Might get up somewhat unsteadily, but heroically.

Or not. Yuga was saddened. I hope it's because he doesn't have enough strength in his body for them to show signs of existing and not because... The boy didn't allow himself to continue that line of thought, it wasn't healthy for him, and he didn't have enough reason to suspect Midoriya.

For their part, the rest of the students cheered the peace symbol for saving both boys at high speed.

“What power. Not only did he defeat the villain and save the boys, he also put out the flames in the entire place with one hit.” Endeavor muttered, as he looked at the scrawny Yagi. And he's clearly not in his prime. Is the difference between us really so big?

"That's right, but the amount of blood he loses from over exerting himself is worrisome." Hawks added.

"Are you sure you're okay All Might?" Mic asked

"As I said Young Yamada, this is not something that happens every time." Said Yagi calming those present. "Just don't tell Recovery Girl." The skeletal man added as his legs trembled slightly, he shook his head to drive away the mental images of the heroine hitting him with her cane.

The scene changes to see how the villain is captured in multiple garbage bags and turned over to the police. And while All Might was photographed by the press, Izuku was scolded by the heroes and Katsuki was praised for his courage and his Quirk. Although the boy ignored said praise, while he glared at the damn nerd.

"I-it must have been very difficult to collect all the parts of the villain." Koda muttered, imagining the amount of mud puddles scattered for several blocks around.

It's not fair, Midoriya did everything that none of you were capable of doing." Sato exclaimed.

"It's true, but for them he was just another problem." Ojiro said. "Still, the contrast with the compliments Bakugo receives doesn't help much."

“Even so, they shouldn't be so hard on him. Without him, All Might would never have acted." Momo added slightly annoyed.

I should have assumed that would be his reaction. The green-haired boy thought resignedly. Still, I don't regret what I did.

Again, they only focus on the Quirks, not the people. That's why the press ignored what Midoriya did. Nezu mused a bit disappointed. However, Yaoyorozu's words gave him a bad feeling. "All Might, tell me, what other heroes arrived on the scene afterward."

Seeing the director worried, All Might knew something was wrong, but he didn't understand what. "W-well, I quickly left the scene, but no, I didn't see anyone else arrive."

"Nezu, you don't mean that if it wasn't for Midoriya, Bakugo would be…" Aizawa said horrified after connecting the dots, while Nezu simply nodded, leaving all the adults present in silence.

The exploding boy who had been brooding, growling and telling himself that the nerd made no difference that day, until he heard the adults. Sure, when he went through it all he didn't know All Might's secret, but now he understood the situation and he didn't like it. He did not want to owe something to someone especially if that someone considered him inferior all his life...

"Wait, doesn't what Midoriya did make him a vigilante?" Mineta asked, which he unknowingly made Shoto and Iida jump at the unexpected question.

“No, to be a vigilante you must use your power against a person without any permission from the government. Midoriya doesn't have one or don't use it at the moment." The detective explained unknowingly reassuring Tenya and Todoroki.

Even if it was, Deku did the right thing. Ochako thought, still proud of her friend.

Changing to the sunset time, the news of what happened on Tatooine was seen on televisions throughout the city. Returning to Midoriya, he was walking to her house while he was lamenting for not apologizing to All Might and thought of sending his apology to the #1 hero website. Suddenly Bakugo came running looking for the Quirkless boy.

"I doubt you have the time to see everything they write to you there, right Yagi?" Midnight asked as she imagined the countless messages the hero received on a daily basis.

"W-well, I usually see some of them, but I rarely answered them." The symbol of peace answered.

Is he going to... Several of those present thought when they saw the explosive boy appear on the screen.

Bakugo, visibly upset, growled that he never needed help from a Quirkless to save himself and that was why Midoriya shouldn't dare look down on him. He then turned around and walked away, leaving the other boy perplexed.

Well, I don't know why I hoped something different would happen. Ashido thought

I didn't expect anything from you, and yet you managed to disappoint me. The frog girl thought.

For his part, Midoriya felt as if he had just had a little epiphany. Does he think that I always... No, he was always cooler and stronger than me, it wouldn't make sense for him to think that I think I'm superior to him.

For his part, Nezu wrote down some information that Hound Dog could find useful. Possible inferiority and superiority complex, together they are a strange combination.

"Really Bakugo, is that all you have to tell Midoriya?" Sero exclaimed, visibly perplexed, earning a murderous look from the blonde.

Hawks chuckled when he saw Bakugo's posture as he walked away from the place.

Izuku agreed with him and thanked him for giving him one more reason to think about a realistic future, until All Might got in his way, having easily moved away from the reporters. Because he was All Might, who lost his transformation mid-sentence.

It hurt Midoriya's friends to see the boy so depressed, seeing him give up on his dream bothered them. And they even wondered if they would be here if it wasn't for him, especially Asui and Tenya. But the atmosphere suddenly changed when All Might suddenly transformed. Getting a small laugh from almost everyone present.

I don't know if I should be offended by the fact that this show uses my blood loss as comedy. Yagi mused.

All Might came to apologize to the boy and incidentally make him a proposal. Izuku replied that what happened was his fault and he should never have gotten involved in the hero's work. Yagi told him that if it hadn't been for him, he would never have acted and told how the best heroes have stories in common where his body moved without thinking.

"Ahh, so you've changed your mind, All Might." Shota exclaimed. “With a lot of training, almost anyone could deal with various situations, I am proof of that, since in essence I fight like someone without Quirk. Sure, as long as that person understands his limits and doesn't overdo it too much."

“Yes, but he would need a lot of artifacts to make up for his lack of Quirk. It's not something a company gives to just anyone." Endeavor interceded. “Not to mention the necessary permits or the money.”

"And as far as I know, UA is the only school that accepts Quirkless on their admission test for the hero course." Hawks added. “That really limits the chances of getting into this profession.”

“Clearly, it would not be easy, entry is difficult, not to mention the risks. I honestly don't see someone powerless being a hero." Nezu exclaimed. “Only a very specific situation allowed something like that.”

"Something like a hero who can't use his Quirk while wearing a super suit?" Nemuri exclaimed. "It's the only thing I can think of that meets all the conditions you mention."

Curious, it was the same conclusion that we came to with the young Midoriya. Yagi thought as he remembered the boy's sketch of an armored hero.

At that moment, the boy remembered his mother's words which made him start crying, while he confirmed to All Might why he ran to the rescue. Inspirational music played in the background, while the narrator again mentioned that this was not what he wanted to hear. With the sunset in the background and the petals of the Sakura tree falling, the boy bowed in tears before the symbol of peace who said:

"Young man, you too can be a hero."

Most of those present let out a shout of joy while some rebellious tears fell from their eyes. In the front row, Izuku cried with happiness as he remembered the best moment of that fateful day while his friends on both sides smiled at him with genuine happiness.

“Great, now I need a tissue.” Nemuri sobbed as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Not bad Toshinori, not bad." Torino said quietly. "Now you know how Shimura felt, all those years ago when she chose you."

"Especially since you were the first person to believe in him." Tsukauchi added visibly pleased.

All Might widened his eyes, surprised by his friend's words. I guess I did something right at the end of the day. He thought as a small smile formed on his face.

The boy fell to his knees as he cried with joy. The scene froze while the narrator said that dreams can come true, after all this is the story of how he became the greatest hero of all. Thus, ending the chapter and beginning the ending.

"What I what?" The boy exclaimed in disbelief and relieved that his most important secret hadn't been divulged yet.

"What you what?!!" Katsuki yelled visibly annoyed. "Forget it Nerd I will be the next number 1 in Japan and the world." He exclaimed as he pointed a thumb at himself.

"Congratulations Deku." Uraraka exclaimed with a grin from ear to ear ignoring the explosive boy. "If the you in this series made it, I'm sure you will too."

"Not bad, Midoriya." Asui congratulated him, increasing the rage of the explosive boy.

"Congratulations Midoriya, but you will understand that I will not let you get that position easily." Shoto added defiantly.

"Of course, Todoroki." Izuku replied and seeing the explosive boy added: "K-kacchan I also accept your challenge."

"Like you stand a chance, you fucking nerd." Growled the explosive boy.

“Well, to be fair, I don't think any of the three will succeed All Might directly. The most likely would be Endeavor.”

At least someone has me into account. Endeavor thought indignantly. But I know that Shoto will succeed me is his fate, the fate that I have forced him to...

"Okay, that's all for today. You must be exhausted." Paradox exclaimed, while looking at a hologram that came from a circular metallic insignia with a green and black symbol on its face. "And my friend has finished arranging the exterior, so I'll guide you to your rooms."

Notes:

I must say that the debate about whether you can be a hero if you don't have a Quirk is almost always approached from perspectives that ignore the world of My Hero Academia and even Izuku himself. For starters, getting support items is regulated and most of them are expensive. Second, 80% of the population has a power, from being able to grow your fingers, to basic control of some law of nature. I don't know how people expect Deku to face monstrosities like Muscular or Overhaul with only martial arts, a gun and some easily broken gadget. Bearing in mind, facing such strong people shouldn't be that unusual. Anyway, I hope you liked it and see you in the next chapter.

Chapter Text

Paradox got up from his seat and went to the "impossible" door to open followed by all his guests. The time traveler simply pushed the bar and opened the door with ease. They all left one by one, not knowing what was on the other side. Izuku was the last to come out and what he found on the other side was… The exit from any movie theater. To the right of him was a soda fountain, where there were all kinds of sweets, soft drinks, popcorn, among others. Right in front was the exit of the building and to the left of him were two doors, which from the symbols they had on them, he assumed were the bathrooms. At his feet there was a red carpet that started at the door where he had just left and ended at the exit of the place.

Seeing the disappointed faces of everyone present, Paradox chuckled as he commented:

"Not what you expected?"

"Paradox, you're telling me that you locked us in the movie theater solely because your friend was supplying snacks to the soda fountain." Mic exclaimed in disbelief.

"Not quite." He responded and seeing the annoyed faces of the audience, he added: “You see, my friend, young Tennyson, has a power that allows him to materialize anything out of nothing, including making exact copies of anything. As I told you, this place is located between universes, so before, everything that was not the previous room did not exist. I suppose you will understand the reason for the delay."

Everyone looked at the professor with their mouths open in astonishment, no one dared to doubt that a being with such powers existed, not after having experienced all the strangeness of this night.

"When you say that he can replicate anything, do you mean that this power has no limits?" Izuku muttered, who wrote down all the information received in his notebook.

"Maybe." Paradox answered without wanting to give many details about it. “Now that you mention it, maybe when you try certain foods they don't taste exactly as expected. Relax, it's normal. It's something that the young Tennyson often happens to."

And considering the matter finished, Paradox headed towards the exit, followed again by everyone present. Coming out, in front of them were 2 buildings, the largest of them, has 5 floors separated into two wings. It had a sign that said "MHA ALLIANCE", which caught the attention of the UA professors. The other building has only two floors, but it is still quite spacious. Through the second-floor windows you could see treadmills, weights, exercise bikes, among other training machines. Around them were several paths leading to other distant buildings and there were trees surrounding the paths and buildings, which brought a certain sense of familiarity.

“The ALLIANCE building will be your bedroom, inside I will explain where each one will sleep.” The scientist explained. “And the other building is a gym where you can train, it is open 24 hours in case someone decides to train in the middle of the night.”

"Paradox, are we in a UA replica?" The director asked.

"That would explain why the architecture of the buildings looked familiar to me." Nemuri said acknowledging Cementoss's work.

The scientist simply nodded. “That's right, I figured a familiar environment would please you more. Although it is not the entire school, only a part of it and several buildings do not exist in the real school. In fact, if you go out to explore you may run into an invisible barrier, it represents the limit of this dimension.”

"You mean this place could have been anything, like a giant castle or a hotel?" Momo asked imagining the multiple possibilities.

"Ahhh, I would have liked to be on an island paradise." The pink-haired woman complained, imagining herself resting in a beach chair, while her companions played in the sea and sand.

"Ashido, this is a unique opportunity to learn, not to play around and waste time." The class representative scolded her, as he moved her arms with his usual robotic movements to emphasize his point.

Paradox simply shrugged his shoulders and with a mocking smile exclaimed: “Perhaps in another reality this is possible. Or maybe you must feel some pain to know the future.” Seeing the exhausted faces of several of the minors, he added: "It's better that we continue."

Once inside the building, Paradox began to take stock of the entire place while the others explored the place.

“As you can see, the first floor is the common area, there are sofas, tables, television, chairs. We also added a meeting room that may be useful to you. Of course, the kitchen is here, as are the bathrooms and laundry rooms.” Seeing the happy expression on Mineta's face she added: “Separated by gender, obviously.”

"Damn, I should have guessed." The grape boy muttered earning the icy look of Kyoka who managed to hear him.

"I see, there is an elevator for each wing of the building." Eraser said as he looked around the place. “This place is a copy of how we had planned the future dormitories to be.”

"If so, the boys get the left wing, and we get the right." Added Midnight.

“That is the idea, only that there are some changes, to begin with, the elevator on the right only goes to floors 4 and 5, which will be those of the girls. The 2nd and 3rd floors have a corridor connecting both wings.” Paradox replied.

"I see, since most of us are men, a redistribution of the rooms was necessary." Tsukauchi summarized. I guess it's not a good idea to leave a group of adolescents of both sexes alone on the same roof.

"Okay, now I'll explain where each one's room is located. But first, you should know that each one's room is a copy of your current room, along with your belongings. We just installed air conditioning and a toilet in all the rooms that needed it.” Paradox exclaimed while from one of his portals he took out a board where the locations of each room were indicated.

"Let's start with the left wing, on the second floor will be located Mineta, Midoriya, Aoyama and Tokoyami."

"Mineta, don't even think about corrupting Midoriya." Toru exclaimed as she and the rest of the girls made some kind of barrier between the two of them.

Girls, I think you exaggerate. The green-haired young man thought, but remembering all the time that Mineta has said something perverted in the past around him, he began to question why he had never done anything about it.

"Fumi, I don't want to sleep near Aoyama, that boy must have too many lights in his room." DarkShadow complained.

“You know we need some light, so you don't run wild in the middle of the night. I appreciate that he is precisely our neighbor.” Although I hope his room isn't as dazzling as I imagine it to be.

“There is nothing to be thankful for mon ami. If you need anything, don't hesitate to let me know." Looking towards Midoriya the French boy added. "You too, Midoriya."

The green-haired man nodded and was also glad to share a flat with them.

Noooo, I wanted Kaminari to be my neighbor, now I have no one to talk to about girls. The little pervert sobbed.

"On the third floor will be Koda, Kaminari, Iida and Ojiro."

Great, the calmest of the group are my neighbors. Kaminari sighed in resignation as he stroked the tail of his flatmate.

"I'll make sure that the rules are properly followed on the third floor." The class representative exclaimed, as he stood up completely straight.

"Calm down Iida, I'm sure we'll all behave properly." Ojiro assured.

For his part, Koda was a little nervous about all this having to share a flat, Paradox noticed and said: “Young Koda, I forgot to mention that your rabbit is waiting in your room. I figured you'd need it." The grateful young man murmured a simple thank you, while a small smile formed on his face.

"Continuing with the fourth floor, on this are the rooms of Shoji, Kirishima and Bakugo."

"Great, we got on the same floor Bakubro." The red-haired boy exclaimed happily, when he didn't receive an answer, he looked for Bakugo who was beginning to nod from sleep and was not paying much attention to what was happening.

"I guess he wasn't lying when he said he usually sleeps early." Shoji said. "I'm glad to share a flat with you, Kirishima."

“Likewise, Shoji. I have a punching bag in my room if you want to train without leaving the building.” Eijiro offered kindly.

"And finally, on the fifth floor are Sato, Todoroki Shoto, and Sero."

Luckily, I don't have to share a flat with my father. Shoto sighed in relief.

"Okay Todoroki, no hard feelings about what happened at the sports festival." Sero exclaimed as he extended his hand to the bi-colored haired boy.

"I already apologized to you for that." Shoto exclaimed as he gave the black-haired man a squeeze. “I'm glad to share a flat with you Sato.

"Likewise, Todoroki, I'll teach you both to make all kinds of desserts." Said Sugarman visibly pleased.

"Moving to the other wing, on the second floor will be Yagi, Torino, Tsukauchi and Nezu."

The four looked at each other and nodded. This was very useful to them, since in this way those who knew about the OFA and AFO could speak alone, and if necessary Midoriya could easily join them being on the same floor.

"On the third floor are Todoroki Enji, Hawks, Aizawa, and Yamada."

"Wait, is Hawks your last name?" Mic asked genuinely amazed.

Keigo chuckled as he replied, “Of course not, Yamada. I asked the hero commission to keep my civilian name hidden, just like Yagi.” But something tells me that Paradox already knows it.

"Interesting." Mic answered and now looking at his coworker he exclaimed happily: “Sho, we are finally going to be flatmates!!”

"Mic, these are not the hours for you to talk so loud." Aizawa growled. Pulling up her "scarf" to cover the smile that was forming on her face, he added: "Although I'm also glad."

Endeavor, for his part, didn't pay much attention, he just wanted everything to end so he could go to his room at once, it was enough for him to know that his room was on the third floor.

"The fourth floor corresponds to Jiro, Hagakure, Uraraka and Kayama."

"Wow, I hope you don't mind my company, girls." Midnight said, receiving a quick denial from her floormates in response. I wonder if Paradox also brought Sushi.

"Of course not. We like having you with us Miss Midnight.” Ochako replied.

“I agree, the four of us can have sleepovers and gossip together.” Toru answered very animated.

“A sleepover once in a while would be nice.” Kyoka commented with a small blush on her cheeks.

Great, Nemuri is going to corrupt my students. Aizawa thought resignedly. But maybe if someone feels bad about something we see in the future, they'll feel more comfortable talking to Nemuri than me.

"And lastly, on the fifth floor will be Ashido, Yaoyorozu, and Asui."

"Great, we can also do our meetings." Ashido exclaimed happily and approaching her two companions whispered from her: "And talk about boys and romance."

“I should have guessed, Kero. But it would be great to have a meeting and invite the other girls.”

“Sounds like an incredible idea, Tsuyu. Girls tomorrow night we can all have tea together in my room.” Momo replied happy to have her first sleepover with her UA friends, while all the girls in the group confirmed that they were going.

“Well, it's all from me, I wish you good night. If you need anything from me, just say my name and I'll show up near where you are.” Saying that, Paradox put the board in one of his portals and went out the door of the building, leaving his exhausted guests alone, who decided to go and rest.

One hour later.

Endeavor had been in the gym for about 10 minutes, he had too much anger and frustration built up to try to fall asleep. He had to accept that it would be impossible for him to sleep after tossing and turning in his bed 35 times and feeling the gaze of his family coming from the photographs, he had in his room did not help him at all.

Arriving at the gym, he saw that Paradox was already there, almost as if he knew that he would show up sooner or later. However, he did not say anything about it, he simply limited himself to showing him the place and giving him a punching bag covered with a fireproof material so that hero #2 could train. Paradox also recommended that he not destroy the place while he trained.

As he hit the punching bag it was impossible for him not to remember the moment when everything started to go wrong...

______________________________

It had been a normal day on patrol for Todoroki Enji, he was walking with his Sidekicks, giving people security even though most of them will only get out of their way when they see them go by and only a few will greet them and thank them for its good work. Until he received a call from an unknown number.

"Say." The hero of the flames responded who, upon finishing his call, would leave the rest of the patrol in Burning's hands and would run to the hospital where his youngest son was receiving medical attention.

Upon entering the hospital room where his son was, he found him sleeping and with bandages covering the left side of his face. On the right side of his bed, Rei was sitting in a chair holding the hand of her son, standing was the doctor who was treating him.

"What the hell happened to Shoto?!!!" Endeavor roared furiously as flames appeared all over his face.

"Calm down, Mr. Todoroki." The doctor told him. "Your son suffered an ice burn on the left side of his face. Mrs. Todoroki told me that she put ice on his face because hot water fell on her son. Fortunately, he did not suffer any damage to his eye, but unfortunately he will be left with a permanent scar. On the other hand, your son presents symptoms of fatigue and-"

“Doctor allows us a moment alone. Please." Enji exclaimed who was staring at his wife who didn't dare to look back at him. Sensing the tense atmosphere in the room, the doctor nodded and left, leaving them alone.

Five minutes passed and neither of them said anything and Rei still didn't see her husband's face, she only looked at her son with deep remorse and pain.

"Could you tell me what the hell happened?" Enji demanded, visibly annoyed. At this, Rei was unable to hold back her tears any longer and told between sobs and regrets what had happened. Why she couldn't stand another minute in that house, how her son's left side reminded her of Enji in his worst moments and how she threw water from the kettle at her son in a moment of instability and as soon as she realized what she was doing, she covered her son's face in ice while apologizing to the little boy who was crying in pain.

Endeavor in shock was unable to process everything he heard and was only able to ask:

“W-why…why did you do that to my masterpiece?”

And that broke Rei who couldn't take it anymore, getting up from her seat she approached Enji, no, Endeavor and looking straight into his eyes she yelled: “IS THAT THE ONLY THING YOU CARE ABOUT?!! You only care about your stupid dream of surpassing All Might! You haven't even asked how Natsu, and the others are doing!" The woman exclaimed full of anger.

“That doesn't matter, I know that Toya would take care of his brothers and if any of them were injured they would be here. Now only the well-being of my successor matters.” Enji growled.

“Of course, only your son with the best Quirk matters!! You're so focused on Shoto that you haven't done anything to prevent Toya from continuing to train at Sekoto Peak!!”

“I already told him, but he doesn't obey. Besides, that's your responsibility. Mine is my job as a hero and to properly train Shoto." Enji defended himself.

“You fed him the idea of being a hero and he just wants to make you happy! He will only listen to you if you go where he trains." Rei sobbed.

"That does not matter now!" Enji bellowed scaring Rei. "What matters is that you sent our son to the hospital, he could have lost an eye and now he will live with a horrible scar on his face."

"And where do you think he's going to end up if he continues with that hellish training that you expose him to every day?" Rei questioned as tears rolled down her cheeks again. “Are you only going to stop when his power starts hurting him like a-”

"Enough!" Enji yelled as he punched the wall. “Everything you say just shows what a lousy job you've done. And that you are a danger to them and to yourself. When Shoto returns home, I will send you to a mental hospital."

The white-haired woman's face went from anger and pain to fear. Fear of what could happen to her and her children. “Y-you c-can't do that. You can't take me away from my kids." The woman with the power of ice whined.

"I can and will do. Don't make me remind you of the terms of our marriage." Endeavor answered firmly and seeing that his wife struggled to say something he added: “This is not up for discussion, Rei. Accept it, it is the best for everyone.”

______________________________

How wrong he was, after those things only got worse and the memory of it only made him angrier, thus increasing the fury of his blows to the punching bag. Shoto never treated him with respect since then like the rest of his children, Toya kept training in the forest alone which resulted in his…death, which further separated his family from him. And that brought him to the present where Natsuo was just waiting to graduate to leave and never come back and Shoto refused to use half of his power. At least that's how it was before the sports festival.

The latter caused the hero to further increase the strength of his fists and even his fists were starting to catch fire. With this and imagining that the punching bag was Toshinori’s face while thinking from the bottom of his heart THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!, he hit the bag with such force that it flew off and crashed with the first wall it found.

While he was breathing heavily due to the effort, he couldn't help but have the fleeting thought that told him: It's your fault. Which caused a shiver to run down his spine because the inner voice telling him was not his own but someone, he hadn't heard for 10 years... Unfortunately, he didn't have time to think about this, due to the punching bag it got up in the air and returned to its original position, behind it, a pair of red wings could be seen.

"Hawks, what are you doing here?" Enji asked who was not expecting company at this hour.

“Good evening #2, I figured you'd need this back. Good thing it's fireproof or it would have been turned to ashes." The feathered hero answered, who was now wearing training clothes just like him. “And I'm here because just like you, I can't sleep. Everything I've learned from All Might has left me with a lot to think about." Earning with this a grunt from Endeavor.

"Anyway, since we're here, would you be interested in sparring?" Hawks proposed, receiving in return an incredulous look from Endeavor who wasn't used to heroes from other agencies spending time with him on anything other than work.

"Why are you doing this, Hawks?"

Raising the index finger of his right hand, Keigo replied, “First of all, I'd like to see how far my skills are from hero #2 in combat without Quirks.” Raising the middle finger, Hawks continued: “And secondly, I would have to be blind not to notice that the situation with Yagi affected you more than the others. I don't need to know what's going on, but I assume a distraction might be helpful."

Endeavor opened his mouth to deny it, but remembering the scandal he made in the cinema, added to the skeptical look that the winged hero gave him, he ran out of arguments. And come to think of it, he really needed a distraction right now. Besides, it's been a long time since he trained with someone who could keep up with him.

With a defiant smile Endeavor replied: “Alright #4, let's see what you're made of."

Returning to the dormitories, there were other people who couldn't fall asleep either.

Aoyama continued with the lights on in his room. The young blond man had in his hands a photograph of him with his parents. It was taken the day they gave him his belly button belt. He remembered how happy that day was, the day he stopped being different from the others. Who would have imagined that beautiful memory would have him in this horrible situation where he had to be a spy. And what was worse, he seemed not to be the only one.

Izuku Midoriya, Yuga still remembered when he first saw the scared boy in the entrance exam. Being honest, he thought it would be the only time he would see him, that is until he destroyed the 0 point robot. Midoriya used so much power in exchange for leaving his body destroyed, at that time Yuga did not understand how someone of that age would have so little control over it, but now he already understood why or so he thought he knew.

But at the same time there was evidence to the contrary, to begin with, the series showed Midoriya as the protagonist and future #1 hero, someone who received a Quirk from AFO could hardly rebel in that way. And there were also his encounters with Shigaraki, where he had faced him, and his life was in danger. Especially the latter was the one that worried him the most and in a certain way made him happy in equal parts. Thanks to this the summer camp could be canceled and he wouldn't have to betray his friends again.

Frustrated, the boy put the photograph in his nightstand drawer, got up from his bed and went to the mini fridge in his room. From this he took out a piece of cheese and while he ate it, he thought about what he should do. To begin with, it was obvious that eventually everyone would know that he was a spy for the villains and in the face of this he only had one option: Tell the adults the truth before the show reveals it and hope that they are not so hard on me and my parents.

Unfortunately, this was not an easy decision. Letting out a sigh, the boy began to walk around the room thinking about the pros and cons of telling the truth. After doing this for about 20 minutes, he just got tired. Exhausted, the boy turned off the lights in his room and went to his bed. His last thought before falling asleep was related to his hero name. My glow was born from the worst darkness possible, but I don't want it to go out once again.

______________________________

Two floors away, Bakugo couldn't sleep either. As soon as he entered his room, an hour and a half ago, he went directly to his bed, closed his eyes and realized that he was no longer sleepy. Since then, he has been doing several repetitions of sit-ups, squats and push-ups that, although they left him exhausted, were not enough.

His mind wouldn't stop thinking about the horrible night he was having. What all the extras thought didn't matter to him, he knew that when he reached the top hundreds of people would envy him and even hate him in equal parts. But he never expected that the latter was not because of his achievements but because of his past and even worse that it could take him away forever from his dream.

This possibility filled him with anger, grabbing his pillow and covering his mouth with it, he let out a great number of screams full of frustration. This was all the fault of Deku and that liar Paradox. He agreed to see this stupidity just to learn the truth about the nerd's Quirk and ended up with him on the verge of being kicked out of UA. And everything has changed from nothing, there was no clue as to how his power came from... Right at that moment he remembered what Deku told him about his power having been given by someone else. Which was a stupid lie, no one can give away Quirks, let alone one so like All Might's...

And at that moment the boy finally tied all the loose ends. The nerd has the power of All Might. He didn't know how, but he knew it was so, it had to be so. And from the way the series was going it seemed like the nerd and Yagi's relationship started that day and not at UA. Why him and not me? Not that I need his power, but if he was going to give it to someone why not the #1 best hero candidate, what does the nerd have that I don't? Is it because I'm not a suicidal fucker willing to lay down my life for others like he would?

At that last the boy was startled to see how far his thoughts had gone. Yes, he hated the nerd, he did since that day he fell into the river when they were little. But that doesn't mean that he wanted him dead and the fact that he had advised suicide as an escape causes him annoyance with himself. Letting out a grunt of resignation he had no choice but to accept that he had overstepped and what was worse he wasn't sure if it was the first time, he had done it or not. Perhaps if he deserved what happened and perhaps for that very reason the world punished him by giving the power of his childhood idol to the boy who always saw him as someone inferior despite not having any power.

2:23 am

In Midoriya's room the boy was sleeping restlessly in his bed. "S-shigaraki" The boy exclaimed in a low voice as his body tensed and he rolled over still asleep. "She has nothing to do with this." It was clear that the boy was the victim of a bad dream.

“No, no, no, Uraraka get out of here. Uraraka!” And in the middle of that scream the boy finally managed to wake up. Good thing it was just a nightmare. The young green-haired man breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that he was in his room and not in a shopping center. The boy rubbed his eyes and feeling his throat dry, he decided to go for a glass of water. Still drowsy, the boy looked in his room for a pair of sandals. What a night I had, first I dreamed that everyone was watching the worst/best day of my life in a cinema, then I was back in my room after saying good night to Aoyama, Tokoyami and Mineta, and now this. I just hope I didn't wake Mom up with my screaming.

Once he found it, the boy took his cell phone so that it would light the way for him and left his room into the hallway. Walking in the direction of the kitchen of his house, he found himself facing an elevator, it was that moment when he realized that it was not all a dream. He was no longer at home, and he did not know when he would return. Great, by this time tomorrow everyone will know that this power isn't even mine. The boy wailed, as he boarded the elevator.

Once on the first floor, he made his way to the kitchen, where he realized he wasn't the only one awake at that hour. In the kitchen he met a certain brown-haired girl, she was filling a glass with water from the tap. The boy remained silent so as not to scare her, the kitchen lights were off and the last thing he wanted was for the girl to scream at this hour. Not knowing what to do with her, he stayed watching her movements, there was something in the fact that she had to raise her little finger when holding the glass that caused him grace and tenderness in equal parts. Not to mention how adorable she looked in her pajamas.

When the girl finished filling the glass, she turned off the tap and stopped when she noticed that a light was amputating her in the middle of the darkness. Turning around, she found herself face to face with the boy she liked her best friend, who looked at her expectantly and with a finger on his lips, telling her not to make any noise. The girl had to put her free hand over her mouth to keep from crying out at the unexpected encounter.

"Deku, you almost scared me to death." The girl scolded him in a low voice.

“Sorry, I was coming for a glass of water, and I found you here. I didn't mean anything so as not to scare you." The boy whispered. "What's wrong Uraraka? You cannot sleep?" The boy asked worriedly.

The girl gently shook her head. "It's not that Deku, don't worry." Turning around, she put the glass on the counter, she took another glass from one of the drawers and while she filled it with water she added. "A bad dream woke me up, that's all."

The girl offered the glass to Izuku. "Thank you Uraraka." The boy muttered as he accepted the glass. "So you too." The boy added before taking a drink of water.

"You too?" Ochako said also taking a drink of water.

"Yeah." The boy replied, leaving them in an awkward silence where neither of them knew what to say. "Should I ask what her nightmare was about? Should I count mine? I don't want her to feel uncomfortable or pressured to answer me. And I also don't want her to feel obligated to listen to my-"

"Deku you're muttering" Uraraka said with a smirk as she waved her free hand in front of her face to get his attention. The boy had to cover his mouth thus stifling a small cry.

"I'm sorry." Izuku muttered with his cheeks flushed with embarrassment as he scratched his never.

"It's alright Deku." Ochako said as he scratched the back of his neck. "Actually, it's a good idea."

"Really?"

"Y-yes, maybe talking about it with someone will allow us to sleep more calmly, don't you think?"

"You're right". Izuku replied nodding and seeing that the girl was just as flustered as he added, "Do you want me to start?"

The girl thought about it for a moment before saying, "No, I'd like to start." Saying this, the boys put the glasses in the dishwasher, left the kitchen and sat down on one of the sofas in the common room.

"W-well, in short, the nightmare was almost the same as what happened today at the mall." Ochako said as Deku looked at her with wide eyes in surprise. “Shigaraki held you hostage, and you told me that he was your friend and that I should stay away, but it seems that being discovered had bothered him. He told me to get away, but I was afraid that he would take you with him and that's why I didn't want to move. So, he… p-p-p-put his pinky finger down and-”

Without her noticing, as she spoke, tears began to roll down her cheeks. Izuku, following his instinct, launched into a hug, which surprised the girl, but she gratefully returned his gesture. They stayed like that for a while, during which the boy also cried a little, until they both calmed down.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have hugged you without your permission." The boy apologized, while he wiped the tears from his face. Why do I feel like I'm taking advantage of her?

“You don't have to apologize; I think we both need it. Besides, I did the same thing before." Ochako said doing the same as the green-haired boy. "O-okay, now you're next."

"To be honest, my nightmare was almost the same as yours, until you found us." Ochako looked at him in surprise. “Shigaraki decided that taking the two of us would be more useful to him and he began to take me to you, so that you would give yourself up without making a fuss. I asked him to get away from you and at some point, his grip lost strength and I managed to let go of his grip. B-but he lunged towards you and-"

Ochako took the boy's trembling hand when he looked like he was going to start crying again, getting him to look at her and reassuring him in the process.

"It’s okay, that didn't happen."

"I know, but if I had realized that he was there, you and the rest of the people in the mall would not have been in danger and-"

"Nothing like that, you didn't do anything wrong. If you hadn't stayed calm, things would have been worse." The girl scolded him. "And you were the one who was most in danger, if anyone is to blame… i-it's me for going to look for insecticide and leaving you alone."

Ahhh that's why, I thought she didn't want to be with me because I was an insect. Izuku thought as he shook his head away from those thoughts. “Uraraka, you didn't do anything wrong either. If it wasn't for you, he would have kidnapped me or… killed me. If we had been together, it might have caught us both."

"I guess we're both fools for blaming ourselves for things out of our reach." The girl said after a short period of silence.

"Yeah, maybe it's something we should work on." They both remained silent again enjoying each other's company, at some point the girl laid her head on the boy's shoulder, surprising him. For her part, the green-haired boy put his arm around the shoulder of his friend. They both felt at peace, perhaps knowing that the other was fine was what they needed to ward off the bad dreams that tormented them, or simply mutual closeness was all they needed. However, the boy, remembering what would happen tomorrow, decided to risk asking something else that tormented him:

"Uraraka, will you still be my frien-"

"I know it's been a tough night for everyone, but that's no excuse for you guys to be up at this hour." A voice growled behind them startling them in the process, miraculously none of them screamed. Turning around they were met with Aizawa's irritated gaze.

"S-sensei, what are you doing up at this hour?" Ochako asked.

"Have you been after us for a long time?" Deku followed.

“At this time, I am usually patrolling, it is when I am most awake. And no, I just got here. But you guys need to go rest, immediately.”

"Yes, Sensei." They both said at the same time. Izuku grabbed the girl's hand and began to quickly lead her towards her elevator.

"Midoriya." The black-haired man exclaimed, stopping the couple on the spot. "Although the chivalry of bringing Uraraka safely to her dormitory is admirable, don't think I'll let you enter the female wing without a good reason."

This caused both of them to let go of each other while their faces flushed red furiously. Without looking at each other, they wished each other good night, and each went to their elevator.

Great, now I have to deal with teenagers in love. Shota thought as he turned on the light in the living room, and then occupied the sofa that had just been occupied by the "future couple Midoriya", he got into his sleeping bag and began to read for a while, hoping to fall asleep soon.

09:00 am

The light coming through the window was starting to bother Midoriya. The boy covered himself with his blanket to continue sleeping. It looked like he would make it, until someone knocked on his door. The green-haired rubbed his eyes and got up to open the door and found the class representative.

"Good morning, Midoriya, sorry to wake you up, but Paradox has already finished making breakfast and he asked me to bring everyone who isn't awake yet."

The green-eyed boy yawned while rubbing his eyes. "G-good morning, Iida, I'll be over in a bit." Saying this, his friend went to the elevator. Izuku closed the door and quickly got ready for the curious day that awaited him. Once down, he saw that he was the last to arrive.

"Good morning, young Midoriya." Paradox greeted him from the large table where the adults were. “I left your breakfast on the table in the back. Your friends are waiting for you."

The boy thanked him and as he made his way to his table, he briefly greeted everyone at the remaining tables. Paradox tapped his glass with a spoon drawing everyone's attention.

“I want to take advantage of the fact that we are all together to let you know what the itinerary will be like while you are here. In the morning we will see three episodes and, in the afternoon, another three. In total 6 episodes a day. This way you will have time to analyze and rest properly between chapters.” Seeing that no one objected to anything, she decided to continue. “That said, the remaining time is yours, to train, rest, explore the place or do activities proposed by your teachers. With that being said, enjoy breakfast and see you at the theater in an hour and a half.”

Although at the other tables, one for girls only and the other two for boys only, the atmosphere was quite festive where everyone talked and laughed among themselves, at the adult table the atmosphere was somewhat tense. The hateful glares Endeavor directed at Yagi and the secrecy in which Yagi, Tsukauchi and Torino spoke were not helping.

"Is it me or the atmosphere feels a bit heavy." Mic whispered, earning a nudge from Aizawa.

“Mic, this situation is already weird on its own. You don't need to state the obvious." Shota responded with a sigh. "Enough with the talk we will have later with Bakugo and Midoriya."

"Ah yes, about that." Said Paradox who was close to them. “I recommend that this talk be after today's chapters. These chapters may be useful to you.”

Interesting, I doubt it will tell us why, but it may help our investigation. The detective thought.

I guess we'll see something of the relationship of those two. Thought Nezu who caught up to hear them. "Very well Paradox if you consider that it is the best, we will take your advice."

Sometime later, as they finished eating breakfast, each one took the plates and glasses they used to the kitchen. Deku and Ochako met on the way and talked about various topics as normal, until they noticed that Aizawa and Mic were behind them. Leaving everything in the kitchen, they quickly left there, while a slight blush formed on their cheeks.

“Why did they get nervous when they saw you?” Mic asked.

Rolling his eyes, Aizawa summarized what happened in the early morning.

“That explains why I found you sleeping in the living room. Damn, now I owe money to Thirteen, Midnight and Yagi.”

"What do you mean?"

"Very simple." Nemuri answered behind them, who had been listening to them for a long time. "Mic bet that the first pair of first years would be from Vlad's group."

"Do you use my students and Vlad's for gambling?" Aizawa asked genuinely puzzled, he had never heard of his coworkers doing that.

“Yes, every year with the freshmen. We never included you because you would say it's silly to bet on something as illogical as teenage love." Nemuri replied with a smirk.

"And every year I lose." Mic added. “I think Thirteen cheats.”

“How could she cheat? It's illogical." Shota growled.

“The bets start after the first exams. So, we can get to know them better and have an idea of which group to bet on. And Kurose told me something that she heard in the Aoyama and Uraraka exam."

"See Sho, if it's possible to cheat!" Mic yelled. "So, are you sure the two listeners are-"

"Maybe." Nemuri said without giving more information about it.

For their part, Bakugo and Kirishima were the only ones still at their table. The look of fury that the blond directed at the green-haired boy when he left the kitchen did not go unnoticed by Eijiro.

"Everything okay?"

“Damn, I wanted to ask the nerd something! But as long as he's with Round face or someone else I won't be able to talk to him."

“After yesterday, I doubt they'll give you the chance to be alone with him. And I think it's for the best, there's less chance of things getting worse for you." Kirishima replied worried about his friend's situation.

"I don't need you to tell me what to do." Seeing that the redhead was struggling to say something he added. “And I already know that I went too far with the nerd. I don't need you to remind me."

Surprised, the boy nodded while thinking: There is hope that he will improve. "Well, what you want to ask is about his power, right?"

Bakugo's surprised face made Eijiro chuckle. Sighing, the explosive boy agreed with him with a dry nod.

"Well, maybe it's best to wait. Hopefully in the next chapters we will know the truth.”

For a change, Spiked hair is right. Bakugo sighed in defeat.

"Are you going to tell me your theory?" Seeing the annoyed face of the explosive boy, he doubted whether he should press him, but curiosity won him over and that's why he added: "Don't worry, if it turns out wrong, I won't tell anyone."

He won't leave me alone until I tell him. "Fineeeee." Katsuki growled. "But don't tell anyone, because if I'm right the issue is more delicate than it seems." The redhead rolled his eyes at the exaggeration of his friend, but he listened carefully to what he was saying.

On the other hand, Ochako and Izuku were going to go explore the place with the rest of their friends. They sat on the grass outside the dormitories to wait for them. Both trying to ignore what happened last night, but both felt like they had taken advantage of the other.

"Uraraka, last night I-" "Deku, in the early morning-"

"Sorry, Uraraka, you go first." "Deku, you speak first."

Seeing that both did not stop talking at the same time caused a nervous giggle between the two. Izuku being the first to calm down.

"Uraraka, I'm sorry about this early morning. I shouldn't have…”

"Nothing of that." The girl interrupted him when she saw that he felt the same way. “I liked spending time with you. And you?"

"Yeah, and it felt good, right?"

The girl nodded happily, seeing that there was no problem. "I just hope Aizawa doesn't keep upset with us."

"Or that he thought what was not..." The boy murmured.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you know, a boy and a girl, alone at dawn, h-h-hug-hugging…"

Imagining that from her teacher's perspective, the girl blushed violently. And before her imagination floated with images of that moment, she shook her head sharply. Fortunately for both of them, the rest of her friends arrived and with this they began to investigate the place.

______________________________

With 10 minutes to go before the agreed time, everyone was already inside the cinema. At the soda fountain, Paradox functioned as a local employee delivering popcorn, sodas, hot dogs and other food that others requested.

"Guys, make an orderly line." Asked the class delegate who was wearing his UA uniform.

“Iida, it was not necessary to come in the uniform. This is not a school activity.” Aizawa said.

Everyone in line was talking about the places they had discovered, like the bookstore full of books with stories that weren't in their world, the arcade full of retro video games and consoles that could be taken to the bedrooms. The pool and the soccer, volleyball, basketball and other fields to practice sports. The gym where few had entered before, which could be adapted to different workouts on the first floor and on the second it had all kinds of machines.

For his part, Izuku was very nervous, having friends was the best thing that had happened to him when he came to the school of his dreams, and he was still foolishly afraid of losing them when they learned the truth of his power. Lost in thoughts, he didn't notice when his mentor reached out and put his hand on his shoulder in support. It almost seemed like he was reading his mind.

“Young Midoriya, I doubt what we see today will change anything with your friends. But know that no matter what happens, I will be by your side.”

The boy almost began to cry when he felt the immense support that his mentor gave him. In response, the boy nodded energetically and thanked him.

Once inside, everyone sat in their "assigned seats" waiting for what would come next.

"Very well, we begin with the third chapter." Paradox announced, as he kicked off the morning round of chapters.

Notes:

Well, I hope you liked it. The truth is that I did not plan to extend this chapter so much, but the inspiration came to me, as well as the lack of time.
Oh and I left the conversation that the adults will have with Bakugo and Midoriya for later. That way I'll have some time to do some research on how these kinds of issues are dealt with in Japan.
See you in the next chapter :)

Chapter 5: Update

Chapter Text

Hey guys, it's been a while. The manga ended, Vigilantes will have an anime and this year will be the last season of MHA. Many things happened in my life since the last time I posted that limited, and still limit, my time to write this work and I had a long period where I was unable to write, either because my ideas were not clear, things that I had already published did not convince me among many others. I did not want to abandon the project so I decided to reread all of MHA, as well as Vigilantes, to have a fresher mindset of what I wanted to do. That is why I will restart the work from scratch, today I have published the first two chapters. Originally I wanted to have the new version of the four already published, but due to lack of time it has not been possible and I wanted to publish at least the first two to motivate myself to continue. I cannot promise updates month by month as I would like, but I will do my best to keep the story updated as soon as possible. That said, I hope you continue enjoying "The Paradox Effect".
