Summary
This story is an exploration of captivity and control, with themes of memory loss, identity, and abuse.
Cinder, wakes up in a strange and unfamiliar place, bound and confused about her circumstances. As she begins to piece together her memories and surroundings, she discovers that she has been held captive by someone referred to as "Owner," who has manipulated and conditioned her like a pet dog. Through her interactions with a woman named Blake, who seems to be a sympathetic figure trying to help her, Cinder begins to try and reclaim her sense of self and agency and is forced to decide if she even truly wants to break herself out of it.
