Klee is wondering around Yokohama basically just running in circles
"Aw man I've already been here, am I going in circles?" Klee said to herself
"How am I going find mommy if I'm going in circles"
"Hey are you lost?" A boy with with hair and black streak in it asked her, behind him was a girl with pigtails
"We can help you if you are lost " the girl behind the boy spoke
"Yeah I'm lost, can you really help me " klee told them
"I promise will help you, I'm atsushi and this is kyouka" the boy told klee "what is your name?" The boy asked
"I'm klee " she told them
"Do you have a last name klee?" The girl named kyouka asked
"Um I don't know "
"Well what about your parents, do you know there names?" The boy named atsushi asked her
"I know that my mommy's name is Alice, but I'm not sure about daddy's we don't see him to often and everything mommy's calls him she calls him my dear and he calls her my lady and I know her name is not that so dear can't be daddy's name "
"Wow okay I see " atsushi said not knowing what to do with all that information
"Klee talked to much, now I'm hungry " said klee as her tummy rumbled
"There's a place that sells crepes nearby, do you want some " kyouka asked her
"Yeah okay, where is it?" Klee said with excitement
"Right over there " kyouka pointed in the direction of the crepes " don't run " she told klee who was running
The two detectives were walking behind the girl when kyouka suddenly asked atsushi in a quiet voice " Hey atsushi don't you think this girl is a little strange "
"Hmm what do you mean kyouka?"
"Well she has elf ears and her clothes don't look like there from around here "
"Elf ears?" Atsushi said to himself and look at klee "huh, how didn't I noticed that?" He said looking at klee's ears "
"But I have to say she does seem genuinely lost, like she's not used to her surroundings "
"Maybe she's new to Yokohama what if she just moved her with her family "
"She said she doesn't see her father too often maybe her and her mother are visiting him "
"But it does sound like their happily married, so maybe they don't see him to often because of work?
"Perhaps, but that's if she's telling they truth, I feel like there's something we're missing "
"Let's go back to the agency and asked others for help"
"Yeah that's a good idea "
"Is this were you guys work?" Asked klee as she entered the detective agency
"Yup, this were me and kyouka work " atsushi answered her
"Atsushi, kyouka back already "said Kenji "oh who is this?" He said while looking at klee
"This is klee, were helping her find her parents " said atsushi
"Hello klee, I'm Kenji "
"Are you going to help me find my parents too?"
"I promise to do anything I can in searching for your parents "
"Hey Kenji were is everything?"
"Yosano and ranpo are buying snacks and kunikida and dazai should've been back by now "
"Dazai probably has something to do with it " atsushi commented
"What about junichiro and na-" before kyouka could finish speaking junichiro and naomi enters the room
"Oh hey we were just talking about you guys " said Kenji
"Were were you guys?" Asked atsushi
"We were down stairs did you not see us?" Junichiro asked
"Enough about that who is this child?" Naomi asked
"I'm klee " klee introduced herself
"We're helping her find her parents "said kyouka
"Oh poor thing, I'll help too " said naomi
"I'll also help "said naomi
"Thank you guys so much, with your help I know I'll find my parents "
Meanwhile in the port mafia
"KAJII KAJII !" Said alice screaming while grabbing on to kajii's shoulders while breathing heavily
"What happened my love why are you screaming?" Said kajii trying to calm her down
"Klee, klee she's gone "
"Gone!?, were how?" Kajii said now panicking
"She's lost in Yokohama "
"How did this happen "
"Accident, bomb, portal " said alice still heavily breathing
"Okay first we have to calm down, we're have more luck in finding her if we ask my coworkers to help "
"Your right, I shouldn't panic, klee knows how to deel with danger and she still has her bombs so I shouldn't worry " said alice now more calm
"Yeah, now let's go ask my coworkers for help "
"Yeah let's go "
Kajii called his coworkers and gathered them in a room, he and alice told them about klee
"So let me get this straight you have a child " said chuuya
"Yes" said kajii
"And she's lost "
"Yes "
"And you want us to help you find her "
"Yes"
"I didn't even know you had a child " said tachibana
"That's because I didn't tell anyone " said kajii
"If I might interrupt " said alice and everyone in the room turned and looked at her "could you all please help us to find our daughter, she isn't used to this place and I don't want her to be in a unfamiliar place on her birthday "
A bunch of "don't worry well help" and "I'll help " filled the room
"Do you have a picture of your daughter?" Asked chuuya
Kajii pulled out his wallet and showed them a bunch of pictures of klee "this is klee "
"Wow you have some weak genes " said tachibana
"Or miss alice has really strong genes " said higuchi
"Can we go look for my daughter now " said kajii putting a end to the conversation
Everybody left the room except for chuuya and kajii
"Does the boss know about your secret?"
"Does the boss know about you and dazai?"
"You know about that !" Chuuya said panicked
"If you don't tell, I'll won't either "
"Hey I wasn't going to tell to begin with, but I'm not to sure about the others "
"I see, well I wasn't going to tell either "
"Alright, I'll tell the others not to say anything either "
"Thank you "
"No need to thank me " and with that chuuya left the room
And so the search for Klee began
Meanwhile with Dazai and kunikida
"My schedule is a mess, and it's all because of you dazai!" Kunikida yelled at dazai
"Aw come on kunikida, I practically didn't do anything at all, your just a little late that's all " dazai said nonchalantly
"A little!?, I'm an hour late, that's a little too you " kunikida yelled at dazai however the brunette didn't respond seemingly distracted by something
"Hey dazai!"
"Oh bye kunikida I see a slug so I got to go see ya" said dazai as he crossed the street, seemly to go bother someone else, kunikida felt sorry for the poor soul who had to deal with dazai, but he was too tired to care and simply went back to the agency
'Huh?, what's the slug doing here, is he supposed to be having lunch at the port mafia now?' Dazai thought to himself as he crossed the street
"Hey chuuya~,what are you doing here " said dazai as he stood in front of the redhead
"Huh!, Dazai why do you care "
"Aw come on chuuya I'm just curious"
"Well it's non of your business " said chuuya as he glared at the taller
"Oh my isn't this adorable " said a voice coming from behind
"Oh and who might you be?" Dazai asked her
"I'm Alice "
"Oh hey Alice are you going to be searching this way too?"
"Yup" responded alice
"If I might ask what are you searching for?" Asked dazai
"Were searching for my daughter, her name is Klee "
"Oh, so your daughter is lost"
"Yes and chuuya is helping me find her "
"I always knew that chuuya was a good person "
"So you two know each other well I presume "
"Yup I guess me and the chibi are close "
"Hey I'm right here you know " said chuuya angry at being ignored
"Oh, I couldn't see because how short you are slug"
"Lay off about my size mackerel " chuuya said composing himself as he spoke with Alice again
"So you're going to be searching this way right, so where would klee most likely be?" Chuuya asked Alice
"Well by now she would be hungry, so somewhere near food "
"Alright let's go check out the food court first "
"Oh, I'll come to " said dazai
"Huh!?"
"Wonderful, with this many people searching we'll surely find her before sundown "
"So klee how did you get lost ?" Kenji asked her
"Well, I was playing with a bomb while mommy was getting ready to see daddy and suddenly Kaboom and I woke up here on the ground near a tree "
"A bomb!?" Was heard from the doorways
"Hi Yosano where is ranpo?" Asked Kenji
"Ranpo is with poe, so what is this about a bomb?"
"Oh klee was just telling us how she got lost "
"Well klee are you hurt anywhere?" Yosano asked klee
"Nope, I'm not hurt, the bombs I make don't hurt me "
"So you make bombs?"
"Yup, I make bombs like Jumpy Dumpty cluster grenade, here small one, don't worry this one won't go kaboom "
"That's looks so cute, is it really a bomb " asked atsushi
"Yup "
"I know a big open field, why don't we go there to test it" said kenji
"Yeah and then maybe then after we got go fish blasting together " said klee with excitement
"Sounds fun, I'm going who else is?" Asked Yosano
"Me, I'm going " said atsushi
"I'm also going " said kyouka
"I can't go, I still have things to do " said junichiro
"Me too, I need to organize a bunch of papers " said naomi
"Well good luck with that, see you later then " said Kenji
"Bye bye " said klee
And so they left for the field and on their way they met kunikida looking horribly exhausted
"Hey kunikida, we're going to a field to test bombs, wanna come to?" Kenji asked kunikida
Kunikida yawned and said "why not "
So now there at the field
"Okay klee just go stand there" Yosano told klee
"Okay " klee ran there excitedly
"Okay you throw the bomb in 3" yelled Yosano
"Okay " klee yelled back
"1, 2 and 3"
KABOOM
"She isn't here " said alice disappoint
"Well do you know were else she could be?" Asked chuuya
"No not really, all we have to do now is look for an explosion "
"An explosion " asked dazai
"Yup, an explosion like a bomb going off "
Just as Alice said that a huge explosion happened in the background
"Like that one?" Asked dazai
"Yup exactly like that one, let's go " said alice as she ran in the direction of the explosion
"Hey wait up" said chuuya
"Wow she fast " said dazai
"Shut up mackerel and let's go already "
"Wow that was bigger than I expected " said Atsushi
"I expected a explosion, but certainly not one that big " said kunikida
"And you're sure you're not hurt anywhere?" Yosano asked klee
"I'm sure " said klee
"KLEE " yelled Alice as she approached the field
"Mommy " yelled klee as she ran into her mother's arms
"Are you alright sweetie " asked alice
"Mmh I'm okay "
"Are you this girls mother?" Asked kunikida
"Yes, and who are you guys?"
"Were the Ada, we looked at after your daughter when she was lost " said Atsushi
"Is that so" said alice
"Yup it's true mommy, mr. Atsushi even bought me a crepe " said klee
"I see then I thank you for thanking care of my daughter "
"So I see you found your daughter " said dazai, behind him was chuuya
"Dazai what are you doing here, and chuuya ?" Atsushi said confused
"Klee " was hurd from kajii who was running towards alice and klee
"Daddy did you see the kaboom?" Klee asked
"Yes sweetie, it was amazing " said kajii as he hugged his daughter
"Huh Daddy what Huh, what's going on here " said kunikida very confused
Kajii explained to kunikida and the rest of the detective agency that klee is his daughter
"Oh I see" said Kenji
"Why didn't I see it coming " said Yosano
"I guess it kinda makes sense, in a way " said atsushi
"Klee really said no to kajii's genes huh" said kyouka
"I'm still very confused " said kunikida
"So now that you're all caught up it's time to take this birthday girl home " said kajii
"Oh klee it's your birthday, why didn't you tell us and how old are you now ?" Asked Kenji
"Oh I forgot and today I turned 7 " said klee
"Hey why don't you all come to klee's birthday party " said alice
"Sure I don't see why not " said atsushi
"Oh and can junichiro and naomi come too" said klee
"I'll call them and ask " said Yosano
"Alright then let's go get ready for your birthday party " said alice
And so everybody went to klee's birthday party, klee got lost of money (because they didn't know what else to get her) so that she buy whatever she wants, the party was lively with the Ada and port mafia.
"Huh it's night already?" Said chuuya who went out for a breath of air
"Yup time sure does fly " said dazai who was right behind him
"What are you doing here mackerel "
"Chuuya look a shooting star, let's kiss "
"Huh isn't the saying make a wish or something "
"No no chuuya your thinking of mistletoe "
"You think I'm going to fall for that keep trick "
"Hey everybody will know about your not so secret relationship if you're going to act like that " said kajii from behind them
"Huh, how long have you been here " said chuuya embarrassed
"Oh is it time to cut the cake already?" Asked dazai
"Yup we're going to cut the cake now so come inside "
"Okay Let's go chuuya " said dazai grabbing on to chuuya's hand
"Hey does everybody really know about us?" Chuuya asked embarrassed and blushing
"There blind if they don't, either way let's go inside now" said kajii "and maybe also deaf if they don't hear you two "
"Yeah I guess you have a point, wait what was that last part "
"Hear us bickering chuuya, really your so dirty minded " said dazai
"Huh!?"
After singing happy birthday it was finally time to cut the cake, but before everybody could eat their slice of cake, it was first time for a toast
"Thank you all for being here, it's been really fun " said klee " cheers " she said as she holed her class of orange juice up high
"CHEERS " said everybody else in unison.
