    During the final battle against Maxie and Archie and Groudon and Kyogre, things go wrong.

    Wallace is there to save the day—at the cost of his own life, which he readily offers to Celebi as payment for the Pokemon pulling them all into a victorious timeline.

    Steven Stone and Winona come back to life only to find themselves in a timeline where Wallace never existed, and where they are the only ones to remember him.
