Hunter really didn't want to remember Belos and everything he did. Yet here his thoughts are beginning to cloud his mind the moment he looked at the pair of statues in the middle of town.
The thought of being in Belos' mindscape, learning that he is in fact a clone of his dead brother as was all the other Golden Guards before him, the fact that he almost died in there.
And let's not forget about how Belos Possesed him and made him kill Flapjack! His best friend in life now dead by his own hands!
"Hunter, are you okay?" A voice calls out to him that voice being his sister Luz thank Titan for something to pull him out of those thoughts.
"No." Okay he really didn't mean to say that as he saw Luz's face go full concerned.
"Oh no! are you okay? What happened?!" She asks voice filled with panic.
"I'm fine it's just, seeing these statues. It's bringing back some unwanted memories." Hunter responded staring up at the statues particularly the statue of Phillip.
Luz only needed to follow his gaze to know exactly what he was talking about. "Oh," she paused for a moment trying to think of something to say to make him feel better. "If it makes you feel any better I don't want to remember him either."
Hunter didn't seem to react to that, this was supposed to be a simple grocery run and after that Luz was going to go hang out with her friends and her awsome girlfriend.
Her thoughts were interrupted when Hunter spoke "Y'know I'm glad Belos is gone, for good this time." Her mind went back to the moment when Collector sent Belos flying into the wall turning him into a disgusting green paste, the only unfortunate thing about that was that he didn't die there and instead followed them right into the human realm, waiting for the right time to strike.
"My only real regret is that I didn't get to end him myself." Hunter continued looking down "I wanted to make him pay for what he did to Flapjack!" He practically growled in anger.
"Hey, at least you told him off and finally broke free of his control, I think that's all that really matters now." Luz reassured patting Hunter's back, that seemed to calm him down a little, then suddenly a metaphorical light bulb lit up in her head. "You know we could always just..." She reached into the bag and pulled out a can of spray paint and she popped open the can with a very smug look on her face.
Hunter's mind immediately said yes! to the idea but his more rational side took over "What? No! First off that's just childish, and second vandalism wouldn't make me feel better, and third that's illegal."
A few seconds of silence passed before Hunter sighed "You know what just give me the damn thing." He snatched the can out of her hand.
The next thirty minutes was filled with Luz and Hunter spraying various words onto the statue such as 'YOU STINK', 'TERRIBLE FASHION SENSE', and 'DUMBASS' along with a funny mustache and a game of tic tac toe played on the forehead of the statue.
Unfortunately their fun was cut short when the police arrived and they had to make a break for it managing to get away with their groceries.
Once the two stopped confident they got away they broke into laughter "Oh man that was fun! Did you get pictures?" Luz asked between laughs.
"Dearest sister, I cannot lie, of course I did!" Hunter exclaimed proudly pulling out his scroll and showing her the fruits kf their work.
Luz let a loud 'HA!' And gave him a fist bump "Did that make you feel better?" She asked in a more serious tone.
Hunter's face soften a little "Yeah it helped a little bit, thanks by the way." He spoke as they both began to walk down the sidewalk back to their house.
"De nada hermano." Luz responded.

Camila sat on the couch watching the local news while Luz and King played, Vee was talking to her friend/crush Masha, Hunter was reading Cosmic Frontier for what seemed to be the millionth time since he discovered its existence, and Eda and Raine were watching them all making sure they did nothing stupid, well Raine was.
"Luz," Camila began said girl turning her attention to her mother "did you have anything to do with the Philip statue being vandalized?" She asked pointing to the TV and sure enough the story was about how the statue was vandalized.
"I assure you mother we had nothing to do with that." Hunter tried to cover but it failed spectacularly.
"You both vandalized the statue didn't you." Camila said blankly and neither were sure weather or not she had a disappointed look on her face.
"Nice job kids! Truly becoming the rebels I knew you could be!" Eda said with absolute pride in her voice.
This time Camila's disappointed expression was clear as day "Eda! You can't be encouraging this kind of behavior!" She scolded.
Luz and Hunter both looked at each other knowing that they were probably going to be grounded but eh.
It was worth it.
