Summary
Stede Bonnet has dreams of running away and becoming a pirate but his duties to his family keep him in Barbados. When the Navy turn up looking for Blackbeard, Stede goes searching for the infamous Pirate Captain himself. Unfortunately the only man he finds goes by the name of Edward Teach and is actually rather lovely.
Stede is quickly swept of his feet (quite literally) and begins an affair with this mysterious and alluring man. Now leading two lives he desperate tries to keep Edward and his family a secret from one another. However, it turns out that Stede isn't the only one keeping secrets...
Will he find out who Edward Teach really is, or what his wife Mary gets up to in the art studio after dark with her painting instructor Doug?
