In Julia instead of city destruction the plan to make independent ends with manga vash. Knives ends up merging with all the sick plants, mash decides to stay with knives to try and talk him out of his genocidal suicide. Vash tells his story and gets a team to negotiate with knives to support sick plants and regulate, in reality knives gets to run around stealing sick plants and being intimidating as he gets lost in the conglomerate. Ch13
