Derek's ribs were always bruised, he didn't know how it was to not see purple anymore.
People called him reckless, suicidal, careless. He wasn't suicidal, he was just doing his job, right?
So what if his ribs were always bruised, it was part of the job.
But the grief and worry of his family wasn't. There was no need for their sorrow, he was lucky this time.
Even if that meant his ribs were bruised.or;
The BAU finally aknowledges Derek's suicidal tendencies and gives him the love he deserves.
Eventually, Derek starts to love life more than his dear friend Death.
However, it will take him a little time and many bruises until then. -
