Summary
Before the war almost destroyed Gotham Kingdom, the only thing that could help Gotham to recover the strength and power that the kingdom once had would be to surrender to the demands of the Red Knight and his soldiers of outlaws.
“Dare not say that man forgets sooner than woman, that his love has an earlier death. I have loved none but you. Unjust I may have been, weak and resentful I have been, but never inconstant.” It was the Red Knight's words to the prince, who looked at him with surprise in his eyes and a lump in his throat. When the Red Knight finally took off his helmet, those aquamarine eyes with which even now they haunt their dreams (and nightmares) stared at him. Rage, pain, sadness, and anger consumed everything inside Richard, and without waiting for a moment, he lashed out at the man he had loved since he learned what love meant.
