Childe sipped his orange juice as he was doing a play through of the new story quest of Teyvat impact.
Today’s stream was a bit longer than his usual evening streams, now bordering on the time between the sunset and night. He yawns, stretching his arms up as he continues listening to the in game dialogue.
“As much as I love this game, I have to admit the dialogue can be a bit too long sometimes”
Feeling a bit fed up with the game dialogue, Childe checks his chat instead to distract himself. Looking at the messages he looks very miffed as he shakes his head.
His fans can be so funny sometimes he thinks fondly.

“Come on guys,” he drones out looking straight at the camera. He winks before his next sentence.
“Besides you might make my lover jealous,” his tone is super teasing as he goes back to playing the game. The dialogue had finally ended, so his character started running as he manoeuvred the little avatar. Childe licks his lips as he looks at the chat one last time before getting into the final boss battle of the current quest.
He was very much anticipating this one as it’s rumoured to be one of the hardest play throughs and Tayvat impact was known for being difficult as a fighting rpg.

The ginger rolls his eyes at the last message, already given up on trying to convince his fans of his relationship status. Zhongli probably wouldn’t want to appear on screen and he respects the man’s privacy.
Still it’s tiring each time they joke about his supposed singleness.

“You guys can be insufferable sometimes,” Childe’s voice sounds out clearly but it’s obvious to anyone who’s listening to sense the fondness in his tone.
He rushes his character into the battle, and he totally gets into his usual gaming mode. One where he sits silently as he concentrates on clearing up whatever challenges are present on the screen. This is one of the reasons why he is so popular amongst the online gaming community.
It’s always a treat to watch the handsome male concentrate as he plays, while also enjoying him play through challenging games. It’s amazing how he manages to clear up even the most difficult boss battles and he is known for doing everything solo at that. His lack of cursing also makes his content way more relaxing compared to other male streamers. What better way to unwind than watching Tartaglia’s streams?

“All cleared,” Childe cheers as he exits the domain his character was at. It’s been about 20 minutes of battling the newest boss and now that he had won he goes to look for his next task in the game storyline.
Just as he had started the next dialogue but of the quest, the notifications in his chat ring out in a higher frequency.
They usually never go this hyper, so Childe goes to read the chat and his expression slowly turns into a frown.

Childe squints his eyes at the last comment before it finally dawned on him. They were talking about his boyfriend! His head whips to his left as he feels a soft kiss placed on his cheek, and a fragrant cup of tea is set down on his desk.
On his left was a calm Zhongli, the man smiling softly down at him. And as the chat had suggested he was only wearing Childe’s favourite red shirt, with his legs bare for everyone to see as the shirt only covers his crotch. His neck and legs are littered with red marks curtesy of Childe the previous night.
The man softly hummed as he slowly ran his hands through Childe’s hair, his head tilting lightly to his side. He looks so innocent. Very much unaware of the chaos he had caused to Childe’s stream and Childe’s brain.
“Childe are you done with your work?,” Zhongli asks totally oblivious to the fact that Childe is still currently on stream. He slowly leaned to wrap his arms around Childe’s neck and that when Childe once again noticed the chat.

The gamer shot up from his seat, quickly lifted Zhongli into his arms and started walking towards the door. Zhongli squeaked at the sudden movement, but wordlessly wrapped his arms around the gamer’s shoulders.
Seeing his fans ogle his boyfriend like that, Childe burned with a strange feeling in his heart. He had always been possessive of Zhongli and the man’s obliviousness never helps. Just as he was walking out the door Zhongli had finally decided to speak up.
“Baobei you are very insatiable. We had just done it last night,” Zhongli’s tone was berating. Childe shakes his head at his boyfriend, honestly the audacity of the man to he saying such things as if he wasn’t the one who walked into Childe’s work room with only his shirt on.
Now that he thinks about it, he feels so scandalised at Zhongli’s action. He had shown up like that onto his streams.
He walked straight to the living room, sitting down with Zhongli on his lap. The older man cuddles into him, visibly pleased at his boyfriend’s attention on him. “I love you,” Zhongli whispers into his ears, arms caressing his back.
And really how could Childe be mad at his boyfriend for interrupting when he knows that this is far more important to him. Childe smiles as Zhongli looks down at him with a soft smile, feels fondness welling up in his heart.
Zhongli will really be the death of him. At least now his fans would believe him when he says he got a lover.
