“You’re going to yank all your hair out,” Chan grumbles, running his fingers gently through Felix’s hair. They lost Felix’s comb a few weeks ago, and haven’t run across any villages large enough to barter for a new one, but Chan’s thick fingers work well enough. He uses a clawed fingernail to gently separate the tricky strands of Felix’s hair caught in a braid, careful not to yank or pull too hard.
