"hey, do you want me to drive you home today?" kyle jumped at the sound of craig, he quickly looked around the hall before realizing that nobody was there.
"chill, babe." craig almost rolled his eyes when he noticed kyle's panicked expression but he held back knowing he would just get mad at him.
"i told you we can't be speaking during school, what if someone sees us?" kyle asked, eyebrows furrowed in annoyance. craig found it hard to take him seriously with the blush he had on, kyle's face would always react when craig used nicknames for him.
"nobody's here." craig said, his voice sounding bored but kyle, everyone in fact, knew that's just how the noirette talked.
"yeah but-"
"if someone sees us i give you permission to punch me, they'll think it's normal." craig offered, kyle rolled his eyes at that although a hint of a smile was breaking through.
"i'm not gonna punch you." he giggled, looking around before quickly placing a kiss on his boyfriend's lips.
"can i get another one?" craig asked with a small smirk, placing his hand on the lockers behind kyle to lean over him a bit.
"hmm," kyle pretended to think, he leaned in close as if to give him another one before speaking. "maybe after school." he teased.
"oh!"
kyle jumped away from craig and both males turned to see kenny there, they relaxed as the blonde already knew of their relationship. but then kenny signaled to the hallway he had just turned and before they could figure out what he was saying, cartman entered with stan.
kyle gasped and was prepared to actually punch craig when cartman of all people saw them and immediately shoved stan down to the floor.
"what the fuck, fatass?!" stan yelled, looking up at cartman in anger. he didn't notice kyle and craig.
"oops sorry, my hand slipped."
kyle didn't stay to watch them fight, although normally he would enjoy seeing it, instead he opened the janitors closet door and shoved craig inside.
craig let out an 'oomph' as his back collided against the shelves.
the red head shut the door and placed his ear on it, trying to decipher the voices outside.
"um, ow." craig scoffed, glaring at the shorter guy.
"i'm sorry, okay?" kyle quickly apologized, his ear still stuck to the door. he could still hear stan and cartman arguing with kenny occasionally trying to speak.
"whatever." he mumbled, crossing his arms across his chest as kyle looked back at him.
"i'll tell him eventually." kyle replied, already knowing that his boyfriend was probably annoyed at the constant hiding.
craig kept his usual poker face but gave him a small nod, already knowing that he was probably lying. kyle was too worried about how stan would react and craig didn't want to pressure him.
stan and craig never got along. growing up their respective groups were brought up as frenemies and while everyone else seemed to grow out to that mindset and were now friends, the two noirette's didn't. in fact, it only got worse once they reached high school and their hormones started acting out, they would constantly butt heads over anything.
"cartman found out." kyle informed him, choosing to lean against the door. craig raised an eyebrow, he figured as much with the way he helped them distract stan just now but he assumed once cartman knew then he would blab and the whole school would know.
"the only reason he agreed not to blab is because he owed me a one (he got his mom thrown into jail and kyle convinced his dad to take the case free of charge)." kyle explained, as if reading his mind, searching his face for any kind of annoyance.
"great, the secret's safe with him." craig monotonously, yet also sarcastically, let out, immediately regretting it once he saw kyle grimace at his words.
"sorry." he added afterwards, not wanting to upset him.
"no, you're have every right to be upset." kyle gave him a small smile, although craig could tell it was forced.
"it's fine. i'd rather hide than not be with you at all." craig admitted, kyle straightened at his words, a smile playing at his lips.
"yeah?" he asked, moving to stand in front of craig.
"yeah." craig confirmed, watching as kyle chewed on his bottom lip a bit before he seemed to make up his mind. he leaned up and kissed craig sweetly.
"there, you got your other kiss." kyle moved back, craig smiled at his boyfriend and leaned down to steal another one.
"and to answer your question, i could use the ride." kyle replied to the question he first asked.
"sounds great, i'll meet you in the back." craig told him, he couldn't help but lean in again to kiss him.

it was a couple of weeks later when stan was smoking weed inside the restroom stall, he was sitting criss cross on top of the toilet to avoid getting caught.
he heard the door open and froze, hoping that it wasn't a teacher.
"god damn, fucking stoners." clyde cursed out as soon as he took in the smell. stan let out a silent breath of relief and allowed himself to relax. "i could get high by just staying here a couple of minutes."
"yeah yeah." tolkien absentmindedly said.
"so is craig coming tonight?" tolkien asked after a few seconds.
"nah, the motherfucker is ditching us for kyle again." clyde explained, stan froze once again. why the fuck was kyle hanging out with craig? and what the fuck does he mean by 'again'?
tolkien let out a snort, "of course he is, he's always with him."
"i know, he's fucking whipped! i wouldn't be surpris-"
stan almost kicked the stall door open, tolkien and clyde whipped around and gaped when they saw that it was stan.
for the first time in his life, stan wasted a perfectly good blunt, he threw it on the floor and stomped on it. he didn't give them a chance to speak before he threw the door open and left.
"stan, wait!" tolkien called out but it was no use, nothing could stop an angry stan.
"holy shit, craig's gonna kill us!" clyde cursed out before they followed stan to the cafeteria.
it didn't take long for stan to spot his best friend's red hair, he was sitting at their usual table with kenny and cartman. once he reached him he grabbed his arm and yanked him up until he was standing.
"you're messing around with tucker?!" stan asked kyle, who was peacefully eating his lunch before his best friend manhandled him into standing.
"what?" kyle asked, anger flaring slightly at the way stan gripped his arm too tight but mostly he felt dread, how the hell did he even find out?
"tell me that's not true." stan insisted, not caring that everyone was now looking at them.
"stan chill out." kenny tried to get in between them but stan was not letting go of kyle.
"sick." cartman laughed from his place, popping a couple of fries into his mouth, he's been secretly waiting for stan to find out to see what the football player would do.
"let go of me, dude." kyle snapped, pulling his arm from stan's grip. "my dating life is none of your business."
"it is when you're fucking that asshole!" stan claimed, giving kenny a look hoping that he would take the hint and sit the fuck down.
"you don't get to decide who i date." kyle walked up to stan, he has to tilt his head up slightly to look into his icy blue eyes.
"is it because he looks like me?" stan asked, almost in a whisper but it was loud enough for kenny and cartman to hear. kyle felt like he was punched in the stomach and the air was knocked out of him.
"yo?" cartman let out, even he knew that was too far.
"that's fucked up, stan." kenny shook his head.
a lot of people would say that craig and stan were pretty similar on the outside, it was part of the reason why they hated each other. they both had black hair, blue eyes, were tall and they were star players in their respective teams (football & boxing).
kyle had to admit that he did once have a crush on stan and he knew that stan knew. he was also sure that kenny and cartman knew, hell he was sure the whole fucking school knew. he also had to admit that their similarities was the biggest reason as to why he started messing around with him (craig's reasoning being that he could say he fucked stan's precious kyle). but that was all in the past, he actually liked craig and craig liked him, he didn't have feelings for stan anymore.
"would you dump him if i kissed you?" stan asked once again, mocking him.
kyle could distantly hear kenny and cartman, yes cartman, standing up for him. but he couldn't make out what they were saying.
"fuck you, stan." kyle seethed, shoving past him. except that stan always had a short temper and that happened to set him off. the noirette shoved kyle back and he either didn't realize his own strength or didn't realize that the red head wasn't as athletic as he was, when he sent him flying into one of the tables.
only when he saw kyle wince as his hip collided with the edge of the table did he snap out of his anger. "shit kyle, i'm sorr-"
he was cut off when his arm was yanked to the side and his body was turned to face an angry looking craig.
yeah, his anger was back.
"what the fuck do you think you're doing?" craig asked, shoving him away from kyle.
the red head was holding his hip, already knowing that it would bruise but he wasn't worried about that. in fact, he was actually angry that the two noirette's were fighting over him, he hated being treated like a girl and right now he felt pretty fucking girly. both were known to have short tempers and although craig had more patience, he knew it wasn't much when it came to stan.
"how about you stay out of this, gayass!" stan snapped, shoving craig back. "i'll make you regret ever messing with kyle!"
kyle rolled his eyes at stan's words, his best friend wasn't a bad fighter (having had a lot of practice since they were always getting in fights growing up) but craig was on the boxing team and he was sure stan would get beaten.
"come on then! i'm fucking waiting!" craig spat out before putting his hands in an upright stance incase he actually needed to box.
"how about you both fucking stop." kyle interrupted them, getting in the middle of them and shoving them both back with as much strength as he could muster.
"he hit yo-" craig started to protest but kyle shut him down.
"i have been getting in fights ever since i could walk, i don't need you to defend me. also, if i remember correctly, haven't you personally punched me in the face before?" kyle's words caused craig to look away in shame, he in fact had punched him multiple times before.
"kyle-"
"stan i really don't want to talk to you right now." kyle turned to snap, glaring at him fiercely. stan wasn't one to take no for an answer so he walked towards kyle but only got a few steps in when craig tried to launch himself at him.
"craig stop it! let's just go." kyle grabbed his arm, looking up at him with what he hoped were his best puppy dog eyes. his boyfriend looked down at him, clearly debating on what to do. "please." he added for good measure.
stan was watching the interaction with a scowl but it turned into slight disbelief when craig gave him a small nod. he's never seen craig be swayed so easily, especially when it came to fighting stan, nothing could ever stop him from landing a few punches on him.
craig wrapped his arm around kyle's shoulders and gave one last glare to stan before he walked them away.
"fuck." stan let out, watching in anger as his best friend was wrapped around his sworn enemy's arms.
"well that was something," cartman started and only then did stan noticed all the eyes on him. "thanks for the entertainment as i ate my lunch, i really felt like a king." he finished off with a laugh, shaking his head at the situation.
"shut up, cartman." kenny sighed out, giving stan a pat on the back before taking a seat and finishing off his lunch.
*
"i'm sorry he found out." craig told his boyfriend, standing in front of him with his hands on the red heads cheeks.
"it's okay, at least it's out. we don't have to hide anymore." kyle gave him a small smile, although he was worried how this would affect his friendship with stan.
"i'm sorry i made you hide in the first place." kyle softly added, craig shook his head a muttered out an 'it's okay' before leaning down to peck his lips.
"i'm also sorry for bringing up the past, i know you don't like to talk about that." kyle apologized once again, he realized he had a lot to apologize for.
"you wanna know what i'm sorry for? not realizing how much i like you earlier and for being an asshole to you simply because you're stan's best friend." craig laughed before leaning down to capture his boyfriends lips in an actual kiss.
kyle wrapped his arms around craig's neck as his boyfriends hands abandoned their place on his cheeks and instead moved down to his waist. their lips moves against each other's passionately, it started to get heated when craig bit kyle's bottom lip and the red head let out a small breathy moan.
"sorry to interrupt." stan's flat voice rang out, kyle jumped away from craig and turned to look at his best friend in horror.
"can we talk?" stan asked kyle, not even sparing craig a glance since he'd probably get mad all over again.
"alone." he added, kyle glanced at craig before giving him a smile.
craig let out a sigh before nodding, he was about to leave when he got an idea. smirking a little he looked at stan before leaning down to leave one last kiss on kyle's lips. his boyfriend didn't refuse the kiss but he broke it off quickly, casting an awkward glance towards stan who had his hands into fists.
"i'll see you later, baby." craig said the last word a little louder, kyle blushed at the word before nodding.
as soon as craig left, stan finally moved over towards kyle, trying to ignore how the tip of his nose was red from the make out he just had.
"sorry about that." kyle awkwardly apologized, stand stared at him for a second before releasing a sigh.
"why didn't you tell me?" stan asked in a demanding tone, kyle scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"the scene you just caused isn't a good enough answer for you?" kyle asked, letting out a dry laugh at stan's audacity.
"how long?" he asked, ignoring his previous question. kyle tilted his head to the side, not knowing how to respond.
"well... we've been dating for 2 months already..." kyle trailed off, not knowing if he should continue but the look that stan was giving him was enough to make him tell the full truth. "hooking up, on and off, for about 2 years." he sped through the last part.
stan's jaw dropped before he spluttered out a response. "you had sex with him?!"
"yeah... it started sophomore year during clyde's party." kyle admitted, already knowing where this conversation would lead them.
"when i got back together with wendy." stan slowly said, face lighting up in realization.
"you were right, it was because he looked like you." kyle added, shame building up inside him.
"kyle..."
"i'm sorry, i know you're disgusted and you have every right to be, i was disgusted by myself too. i understand if you don't want to be my friend anymor-"
stan ended his rant by pulling him into a hug, kyle buried his face into stan's hoodie, inhaling the comforting scent of his best friend.
"i'm not disgusted kyle." stan stated, resting his cheek on kyle's head. "maybe if you were cartman, i would be." the red head chuckled at his words.
"as soon as i realized that you liked me as more than a friend, i tried to like you like that too." stan admitted, "i wanted to fall in love with you because you're the best thing that ever happened to me."
"i'm sorry i couldn't." stan apologized, kyle shook his head and pulled away from the hug to look at him.
"don't apologize, it all worked itself out. i love craig, i can't imagine it any other way." kyle admitted, for the first time professing his love for craig out loud. stan stared at him before pulling him close again.
"as long as you're happy, i'll support you." stan decided, "even if you're dating my sworn enemy and the biggest asshole in south park."
kyle laughed before moving away from the hug again, "i'm glad you're okay with it stan."
"well i don't know about that... i'll get there." stan promised.
"and i'm sorry for what i said back there, i was being an asshole." stan apologized, he actually did feel like shit as soon as he said those words.
"a major asshole." kyle corrected him, earning a laugh from the noirette.
"okay enough hugging, i'm starting to feel really fucking gay." kyle joked, stan laughed before leaning in to leave a kiss on his cheek (something that they do all the time).
kyle grimaced and wiped it off with a laugh, "don't be fucking gross."
*
kyle finally found craig leaning against the brick wall of the school, smoking a cigarette. he scrunched his nose up in distaste before he walked up to him. the noirette put out the cigarette at the sight of him, smirking as kyle stood in front of him and wrapped his arms around his neck.
"i though stan would convince you to dump me." he joked, although deep inside he was a little worried that stan would influence kyle.
"yeah right." kyle scoffed, smiling when craig gripped his waist and pulled him close so that their bodies were pressed up together.
"he said he would support me in this." kyle added, running his fingers through craig's hair.
"he better, if not i would've beat him until he did." craig said, kyle looked at him in a warning way.
"you guys have to get along." he demanded, his boyfriend let out a laugh before he realized that kyle wasn't laughing along with him.
"you're kidding." he scoffed, sighing out when kyle only shook his head. "marsh is impossible to get along with."
"i know you'll try... for me." kyle smiled, leaning up to leave a small kiss on his lips.
craig looked down at him with an eyebrow raised, kyle was looking up at him with his cute green eyes and his pink
lips in a small pout but with a smile threatening to break through. he realized he would do just about anything for him.
"fine." he answered, looking away from kyle's grin to hopefully avoid one of his own. he wanted kyle to know that although he would try, he wasn't happy about it.
"you're the best, i love you." kyle confessed, his eyes going a little wide when he realized that he had just dropped the 'l' word. craig snapped his head to look at him, lips parted in surprise.
"i mean- fuck." kyle shook his head, trying to push away from craig as his face burned red from embarrassment. the noirette held him in place, his lips turning into a smile.
"you love me?" he asked, using one of his hands to tilt kyle's face up.
"i didn't mean to say that." kyle explained, trying to hide his face.
"say it again." craig insisted, this time he gripped kyle's jaw and held his head in place.
"i love you, craig." kyle repeated, watching as his boyfriend's smile only widened.
"i love you too, kyle." craig admitted, he was awarded by another one of kyle's beautiful smiles. "i think i have for a while now."
"and not to sound like a gayass but i want the whole world to know."
