“So you communicate with some evil spirit through a mystical mind-portal?” Ray watched Frank with a furrowed brow, “And thatʼs why you missed the pre calc test yesterday?”
“Not an evil spirit, I just said it wasn’t human.” Frank said into his hands before raising his head to look at Ray, “Itʼs like youʼre not even trying.”
“Yeah, dude,” Mikey finished the last of his chips before taking another handful, “Pay attention.” Ray shook his head at Mikeyʼs chip offering, “Did you even get to see them?” he asked.
Frank took another sip from the juice box and it made a loud slurping sound, “From afar, I guess,” he furrowed his brow, trying to remember as much as he could. It was always more about how he felt in the dream, not what he saw. He always had the feeling that seeing them, that person, was the strangest part of the dream, like he shouldn’t be able to.
“And how did they look?” Mikey asked.
“I don’t know, man.” Frank pushed the empty juice box further on the table with his finger, “Emo?"
