Summary
“Y’know, Steve, you don’t have to go all the way to Indy for…” Eddie says, mimicking the same gesture Steve used earlier.
Steve looks at Eddie, eyes searching his face. “Yeah?”
“Yeah. I can probably think of someone here in Hawkins,” Eddie replies, voice low.
“Anyone I’d know?” Steve whispers despite it just being the two of them.
“I think you might, yeah,” Eddie says, now closer than he was before, voice just as breathless. Steve feels fingers, then a palm on his thigh. He looks over and locks eyes with Eddie. Even in the low light of a summer sunset, Steve can see Eddie’s eyes dilated fully, a sea of black on his handsome face.
