   Summary

   Three years after the man Armie planned to spend the rest of his life with walked out of his life, he finds himself unexpectedly thrust into a new career challenge in order to help out a friend in need - directing a Broadway musical. In addition to not having any prior stage directing experience, he discovers an even bigger hitch to the situation - the leading man turns out to be the same ex who broke his heart. As he tries to direct a story about a failing relationship, Armie finds it starts to hit a bit too close to home, and he struggles to find the balance between his work and personal life as they collide in ways he's wholly unprepared for.
