He would watch as one of The Dead latched onto their arms, mouth open and salivating. He would watch as The Dead would pull at them and sink their teeth into flesh. He would watch as the skin would simply peel off the person’s body, so easily. He would watch as a group of them would descend on the person. He would watch until the screaming died down until the street was once again silent. The Dead clung to that body until there was nothing left. Sometimes they would leave the body and the person would wake up Dead. And then he would shut the curtains.
