Summary
In his society, alphas are feared, scorned and considered the least attractive choice of gender to mate with. So, Hyunjin readily believes that omegas who are mated to them are either sold off by family members or kidnapped and taken through illegal trade lines to end in such horrible pairings.
But, Felix is an omega who insists the narrative Hyunjin has heard all his life is wrong. He says that the rumors are not true, and that mating an alpha is the best thing an omega can do for him or herself.
