Summary
He sighs as the doors close, leaving him alone in the train car with the wrapped package. Well, fuck. This isn’t how he expected this to go. He can probably leave it with the security guard at his stop and hope she checks around to find her missing item… whatever it is.
His curiosity is piqued too much to not look. It’s not like he plans on nabbing the item, but he wants to know what it is. He’s careful as he unwraps it, peeling the cloth back to take a peek inside. Just a little glimpse to satisfy his nosiness.
It’s some sort of amulet, and it’s actually much larger than it appeared while wrapped. What draws his eye first is the way the pink gems practically glow around the edge of it. It’s got this giant gold heart in the center, surrounded by a white trim that’s encrusted with the same pink gems. On the front of the golden heart, there’s a purple star-shaped gem that shines the brightest of them all. It’s weird as hell.
