Chapter Text
Leo hops from rooftop to rooftop, his mask tails blowing on the breeze, cold air on his scales, and Donatello close on foot.
Leo risks a look back at him.
"Face it little brother, I'm getting that free pizza tonight!"
"If you call me that one more time, I'll kick you all the way to Jersey!" Leo shot him a smirk. Every time they go out for a pizza run, Leo manages to convince Donnie to foot race for a free pizza, even if he always wins.
"Oh yeah? When have you ever beat m--" he was cut off by gracefully tripping over his own feet, and masterfully landing on his face with a resounding 'oof'.
"Haha! KARMA!" Donnie started to run past, but was cut short when Leo stuck out his hand to trip him. Donnie stumbled over, and landed with a thud.
Leo took the opportunity to scramble over his brother and continue, but Donnie retaliated with grabbing his ankle. He flopped and turned to get on top of Donnie's battle shell.
It turned into an all out tussle but ended quickly with a loud crash behind them.
They both exchanged glares, but quickly slipped into the shadows.
They followed the sound as the crashing continued. It lead to an abandoned warehouse, Leo snuck up to a window and peered in. An older looking Stockboy was moving large sheets of metal, and organizing them into big piles.
It had been years since they last encounter with Stockboy. He was a lot taller and lankier than he was before, with short messy hair, a long crack across one of his glasses lenses, and it looked like the fraim had been snapped many a time.
Leo looked over to Donnie, who was signing to him. When they were tots Donnie forced everyone into learning TSL (turtle sign language) It ended up working out when they couldn't quite get a mind meld going.
'what did you see'
'It looks like Baxter Stockboy' Donnie shot him a surprised look but let him continue 'he looks like He's building something, do you think he's a threat?'
'You're leader, you tell me.' Donnie looked up at him, unimpressed.
'Well I think we should just jump in, kick his butt, and get back to pizza week.'
Donnie walked up to the window.
'Looks like he's playing something big, the call's on you fearless leader'
Leo just smiled and gestured towards an entrance on the roof. They hopped up the fire escape and Donnie picked the lock to the door.
They dropped in, battle stance at the ready.
"Alright Stockboy, we're here to take you dowwwwwwoh-mi-gosh..." Stockboy turned around, and god did he look awful!
He looked like he hadn't slept in months, his eyes were bloodshot and his bags had bags. He looked (and smelled) like the last time he showered, was the last time they saw him.
"What happened to you?" Donnie looked completely and utterly discussed.
"See Donnie, this is what happens when you refuse to sleep!" Donnie opened his mouth to argue, but was cut off by the sound of a machine starting.
"Ah."
"Oh oh."
They were so focused on Stockboys horrid exterior, they didn't pay attention to the machine, or what he was doing with it. Now that he really got a look at it, it looked far too similar to a stereotypical portal machine. The main shapes that it held has just a square with a circle in the middle.
But it had plenty of tubes, generator's, and things he couldn't understand all hooked up to it.
He's seen enough movies to know what that looks like.
There was a spark of light that prickled at the inside of the large circle, before lighting up and expanding. Leo was the portal master, he could identify a portal if it was in front of him, and that was a portal!
Though it was similar to his portals, it was also different. For starters the portal was not his signature baby blue, but a bubblegum pink. And for enders it was a lot shakier, and a lot more unstable looking.
He looked at his brother (who seem to have come to the same conclusion), and prepared himself for a fight... But immediately lost his footing as a large gust of wind swept him forward off his feet.
And by the sound of a shrill chirp (adorable, if he might add) so had Donnie.
Last thing he heard before being sucked into the portal, was a classic evil villain laugh, how stereotypical, and then the portal consumed him in a flash of pink.
