Marjorine was picking out her clothes to go horse riding. Kenny finally convinced her and she actually convinced her father. She was zipping up her boots and getting ready to head out. She was so excited to see Kenny.
"I'm going now daddy!" Marjorine yells out.
"Wait wait wait" Stephen stops her.
"Be careful sweetie, try not to fall, don't be rough, and make sure that McCormick kid keeps his hands off you or I'll be sure to beat him to a pulp" Stephen says darkly.
"Calm down hon." Linda Stotch.
"I'll be fine daddy but I need to go now" Marjorine whines.
"Have fun honey" Linda gives her a wink
"Not too much fun!" Stephen whines.
"Love you guys!" Majorine yells out.
She starts walking to the ranch and takes a breath. She sure is a little nervous but also excited. She hasn't seen the blonde haired boy in a few days and can't wait to see him again.
Lately Marjorine can't stop thinking about him, Bebe says she probably has a crush on him and Majorine thinks so too. She can't help but want to fall deeply in love with the blonde boy.
She finally arrives at the ranch and sees Craig and Kenny.
"Hiya boys!" Marjorine yells out.
"Hey Marj" Craig says, not looking up from his work.
"Hey Buttercup," Kenny says, looking into her eyes, giving her a smile. He has a rag on his shoulder and some dirt on his face. He's wearing a no sleeve shirt, showing all his muscles.
Marjorine blushes at herself looking too deeply. Craig gives her an eyebrow raise and a smirk, she just looks away trying to start a conversation.
"I-I'm ready to try one of the horses!" Marjorine says nervously and flushed.
" Alright let me get the equipment and we can start you on my horse" Kenny says as he leaves to go grab the equipment.
"So you and Kenny?" Craig questions
"We're not dating or anything!" Majorine says blushing and waving her hands.
"Never said you were" Craig smirks
"Okay fine, you got me I may like him but I don't think he likes me there are plenty of prettier girls!" Majorine says laughing nervously.
Craig frowns and says "Trust me he definitely likes you, maybe you should try?"
Majorine says nothing and looks down.
Kenny comes back with stuff in his hands, "Alright let's go Marji!"
"Right!"
They were in the training area and Marjorine was on Kenny's horse.
"Woah! Ken, I don't know if I can do this!" Majorine yells out as the horse moves.
"Calm down, you got this!" Kenny reassures.
"Okay just let her get to know you and we can do some basic steps"
Majorine nods and rubs her hand through the black horse's fur.
"Hi Mystery please be nice" Majorine smiles nervously.
The horse warms up to her and they begin to take steps.
After a while Majorine gets off the horse and they put her back in the stables.
"You did great for your first time!" Kenny praises.
"You think?" Majorine smiles bright.
"Of course"
"I should get going now," Majorine says, clearing her throat.
" Let me walk you back home," Kenny says, grabbing his sweater"
"Are you sure? I don't want to keep you from anything!"
"Nonsense I'm already done with everything for the day" Kenny laughs.
Majorine smiles and agrees.
They get to the house and Majorine begins to speak.
" I should go inside now. Thank you for everything today." She smiles softly.
Majorine pauses and looks up to him, Kenny grabs her hand before she leaves.
Kenny had red tints on his cheeks and she tilted her head slightly.
"Marjorine- I-" Kenny starts and bites his lip.
"Will you go on a date with me!?" Kenny yells out a little too loud and shuts his eyes blushing madly.
Marjorines eyes widen and her whole face turns red.
"M-Marji? Are you okay?" Kenny asks, opening his eyes.
"Yes!" Marjorine splurts out.
She smacks her mouth at how loud she was.
"I-I mean yes, I would love to." Majorine says more softly.
The two blondes were blushing and Kenny grabs her hands giving them a kiss before opening his mouth to say something,
"Okay then I'll pick you up at 1:00 sharp tomorrow and we'll go on a picnic and do anything you want to." Kenny says grinning wide.
Majorine blushes and kisses his cheek,
"Okay, I expect to see you here on time" Majorine jokes.
"Goodnight buttercup"
"Goodnight dear"
