It shocks Suga to his core and the chalk in his hand breaks a little when he presses too hard on the chalkboard.
He doesn’t say anything immediately so she speaks up even louder, “Sugawara-sensei! Did you hear me? Do you have a husband?”
Ennoshita is standing in the back and Suga sends him a look. But he’s not subtle and Mayu-chan gasps, turning behind her, “Is Ennoshita-sensei your husband?”

Summary
He whipped around, looking for what had hit him. A man in scrubs stood before him, feet stanced awkwardly against the tile floor and hand cradling his face.
“Sorry,” he said, a genuine tone in his voice that Daichi wasn't used to. The building seemed to get brighter, warmer. Daichi couldn’t see his face until he put his hands down to pick up the papers he had dropped. He looked like the moon, soft, bright features and silver hair against rounded eyes.
He put a hand on Daichi’s arm. His fingers were just cold enough to send a jolt up the officer's forearm. “I’m sorry, are you ok?” he asked. The smile put the moon comparisons to shame. It was brighter than the sun.
Daichi looked between him, his name tag, and the receptionist's desk. He realized he had found the missing piece of a puzzle he hadn’t realized he had even been trying to solve. Every day, Sugawara Koushi greeted him at the receptionist's desk with that warm smile. Daichi remembered when he first started working at the nursing home. It was a few months after Daichi’s mother had been admitted.
Daichi knew him as a tender, sweet man who did his best for his mother. Other than that, he knew nothing about him that his name tag didn’t convey.
