Summary
Alphas are a rarity in Fodlan and often considered dangerous due to their aggressiveness, impulsiveness, and inability to control themselves in the face of their desires. Ferdinand has been a beta his entire life, until one day, suddenly, he's not--his true second gender is revealed to him and the rest of the Black Eagles as he starts his first rut in the middle of class at Garreg Mach Officer's Academy. Protocol states that the Professor must report him to the Archbishop, his station at the Academy likely to be terminated, however, Edelgard convinces the Professor to give Ferdinand the chance to demonstrate his ability to manage his... alpha tendencies. When Hubert, at Edelgard's request, escorts Ferdinand to his room, another deal is made. All Ferdinand needs is an outlet, one that Hubert is willing (and hopeful, though he would never admit it) to provide for him.
