Dom's head was fuzzier than it had ever been.
He was standing at the back door to his friends' house, unsure on how to go in. Did he just walk in? Should he knock?
He knew they were home, and that he was allowed inside. They had told him he was allowed in whenever, yet he was still nervous.
Dom took a deep breath, gripping his backpack straps tightly as he opened the door, stepping inside.
There was some muffled chatter coming from upstairs in the computer room, Sam and Grian seemed to be arguing about some video game.
Taking another step inside, Dom was greeted by the sight of Taurtis sitting at the kitchen table, staring at him.
Dom shrunk under his gaze. He wasn't expecting anyone to see him.
"Hey, Dom! What's up?"
Taurtis didn't seem mad, maybe Dom was okay to come inside.
He took a few more steps inside, his grip on his backpack growing tighter as his anxiety grew stronger. He squeezed his eyes tight as he tried to calm himself, shaking a bit.
Suddenly Taurtis was in front of him.
How did he get there so quickly?
"Dom, are you alright?"
Dom quickly shook his head no.
Taurtis placed a hand on Dom, rubbing comforting circles into his back. Dom leaned into the touch.
"How small are you?"
Dom didn't answer, simply turning so his forehead was resting on Taurtis's chest.
"Okay, really small, then. Do you wanna go watch a movie with me?"
Dom's eyes lit up at that. Taurtis wanted to watch a movie with him?
Dom had the perfect movie in mind. He pulled away, taking his backpack off and digging through it eagerly.
Once he found what he was looking for, Dom held it up to Taurtis, grinning widely.
"Cars? I didn't even know you had that on dvd."
Dom had every Cars movie on dvd, but he didn't say so, simply grabbing Taurtis's hand and tugging him towards the tv.
"Alright, I'll put it on." Taurtis took the dvd from Dom, taking it out of the case and putting it in the dvd player.
When he turned around Dom was sitting on the couch, pacifier in mouth and stuffed bunny in his arms. He was practically bouncing with excitement.
"You like this movie a lot?" Taurtis spoke as he sat down next to Dom, the other leaning into his touch.
Dom didn't respond, but the smile present on his face was enough to answer.
The two ended up watching all of the movies, with Grian and Sam joining them at some point.
It was nice, watching movies with his friends. They didn't care how fuzzy his head was. It was nice.
